Working with Sai was such a pleasure and she created the most beautiful flowers for my wedding. Her work is so detailed and obviously created with love. I had a Thai flower wrist garland, a floral headband, Groom’s boutonnière and a long floral garland. Each piece was stunning, fragrant, and beyond my expectations. I am forever grateful.

The best fresh flower garlands and fresh flower hair pieces in Los Angeles! I recently purchased two custom garlands, four hair pieces, and three boutineers to put in my suitcase and travel to my destination with. The garlands were ready when I arrived and were packed with gel ice packs for my flight. I decided at the last minute to purchase three boutineers. Sai and her family worked quickly to put everything together so I could be on my way. She was so delightful to work with! She understood how special each piece was to me and took the time and care to make her work standout. They were gorgeous! The flowers lasted and were perfectly packed. They also photograph exceptionally well! I will always recommend Sai Malai to anyone looking for fresh flower garlands, fragrant flower arrangements, and flower hair pieces. She is flexible, helpful, and is a true artist. Parking is easy, right in front of her store.

Tucked in the corner of Siam Square in Thaitown is Sai’s little flower shop. Sai does flower arrangements for every occasion, wedding centerpieces and traditional muay thai garlands to present to the fighters too! We ordered for both our Thai ceremony at the begin of November and the regular ceremony this past Sunday and had so many compliments on how beautiful and original the garlands were.
Our Thai ceremony turned out to be very traditional. We ordered the bride & groom garland with colors to match my Thai dress and garlands to pay honor to our parents to make it very special.
For the regular ceremony this past Sunday, we ordered another set of garlands for the bride and groom and flowers arrangements for the Thai water blessing ceremony (which were a total hit and one of the sets were given away as a party gift to the couple that have been married together the longest).
The pictures definitely do not serve enough justice. Everything is hand made by Sai so make sure you give her at least 2 weeks notice so she does not accept other jobs. The garlands are a little pricey but you get great quality!

I was looking for flower garlands as a traditional birthday gift for my Mom so I googled. But nothing was out there. I had been to Sai’s Shop in the Siam Square Mall (Thai Town) in Los Angeles a few times to buy $ 4 classic –designed flowery wreaths as religious offerings for «Puja» rituals at home. But for this special occasion I wanted Mom to get something exquisite as shown in the picture.
To make a long story short, my Mom was totally thrilled! The fresh flower garland surprised my Mom and made her birthday this year so special. Living about ten states away, she received this one-​of-​a-​kind, colorful garland right on her birthday. It had been a very long time when sweet fragrance of fresh roses filled her room. That made me a very satisfied customer. Here’s why Sai, which means «sand» in Thai, earned a 5-​star rating.
After having threaded rose petals, whole orchids and other flowers into a jewelry-​like floral chain, Sai arranged for this fragile, perishable present to be FedEx’d overnight. The condition of the delicate garland upon arriving at my Mom’s front door showed the special care Sai put in during the packing.
It’s a given that Sai’s artistic talent, workmanship and designs are extraordinary. Equally, it’s her prompt, attention-​to-​detail, professional customer service that made her fine production a masterpiece.
It cost me about $ 50 to commission this intricately-​woven work of art. Prices varied depending on styles and raw materials.

The service which Sai provides is unique. You won’t find anyone else in the Los Angeles area who can create magnificent garlands on such short notice. Most garlands used in ceremonies are made from plastic and not fresh flowers.
