I only write reviews if I love the place or if I hate it. This place has the worst customer service! A few times I been here, I always call in advance but they never put in d order til I get there. I work at the hospital so our lunch time is limited. They argued that I called five minutes ago, then I asked them to check their caller id and soon enough it’s been at least 20 minutes. I’m non Hispanic, maybe that’s one of the reasons. Then they were charging me for 15 tamales when I ordered only 6. They’re just not so friendly, at least not to me. We used to be regulars here, now, not anymore.

The cheese & bean pupusas were so delicious. I came here after my kaiser appt. Customer service wasn’t all that great and we were the only ones there. I asked the girl for a large side of salsa & she still brought me a small one! I also had asked for a large side of curtido & again she brought out a small one! Other than that the pupusas are good & reasonably priced.

I love this place. Delicious pupusas. Super friendly staff. Me and two other people can get full off the prices of one inexpensive restaurant meal. We come here at least once a week

Yet another one of the little things that make living in Los Angeles – and East Hollywood – such a unique experience. Ridiculously delicious, inexpensive and enjoyable every single time I visit… and the Salvadorian menu and flavors offer a familiar yet different take on what most people would generically call«Mexican food.» Definitely check out some of the Salvadorian dishes, but don’t hesitate to go for remarkable quesadilla… truly as good as you are ever going to get!

Friendly waitresses, good food and delicious micheladas. There is also a dj and karaōke on certain night. Good stop if you are trying to stay local.

Stopped by this place for lunch after a Kaiser visit. Quirky interior with spacious layout. Picture menu offers a mix of Salvadorian and Mexican dishes. I had the torta de asada, and my companion had the pupusas(on a special for 99 cents each!), both were excellent. Overall great food and value, friendly accommodating service, and authentic Central American vibe, make for a wonderful spot in Hollywood. Quatro estrellas! Oh yeah, they have a giant barrel full of complimentary peanuts! I love peanuts!
