Love this place! They are so amazing, friendly and helpful. They aren’t like other places that try to push you to buy their products, but if you do you will be so lucky. Using the Lacto Cream is literally the only thing out of all the products I have used on my face where people ask, «what have you done to your skin.» I wish I could go monthly, based on the treatment and how they leave my skin feeling! I never have any doubts about any treatment after I leave Ruth’s. Everyone there is so sweet and genuinely want make you feel and look beautiful. I look forward to my next treatment. I highly recommend!

I LOVE Ruth’s Skin Care! Have been coming here for over 7 years and HANDS DOWN the best facial I’ve ever had. These women know skin care!!! I see Jonna and besides being the cutest (she’ll def remind you of your favorite aunt) she really isn’t afraid to get in there and give a good extraction in addition to the most relaxing massage! Every other esthetician I’ve seen just switched between face massage, mask and towels. What’s the point of a facial if you’re face isn’t gonna be clean as a whistle? BUT Jonna caters every facial to each customer and if you prefer a more relaxing facial with massage, mask and such (without such an intense extraction) she is happy to oblige! Whatever your needs she’ll be happy to fill them! Lovely woman, so sweet! I also LOVE the owner Ruth she has been the kindest and always so helpful. If you call and no one answers (they don’t have a receptionist) then she will call you back immediately to schedule an appt. I also happened to be hooked on their products. The Hydrating Antioxidant Emollient Healing Cream is the JAM, the first ingredient is Vitamin E, C, A, B, avocado oil and karite tree oil. Doesn’t get any better than that for a moisturizer. Directions say to use nightly 3 times a week but I use as a daily moisturizer. Feels soooo good when I get out of the shower and my face is dry. I also use the HY-​care as an eye cream and on top of the Hydrating Emollient for an extra «dewey» look. In conclusion I can’t say enough good things about this place. They treat you like family! I am a life long customer! Thanks girls for always treating me so nice! :)

I have not got a treatment here so I cannot rate based on services but I can rate based on how helpful She was with providing me «lacto cream» when another place waxed off my skin — her cream healed me! And it did so it 2 days like she said! Nothing else worked– it has been a miracle. Everyone else said Neosporne but that didn’t work. Her cream not only helped a bad wax burn but other skin issues I had. Only reason I didn’t give another star is because it can be hard to reach the office by phone sometimes playing phone tag and the product is def very expensive– but worth every penny to heal and not scar. Thank you Ruth!

I have been a customer of Ruth’s for over 20 years. Ruth runs a very professional, clean, and accommodating business. She (and her amazing staff) provide high-​quality services in a friendly, quiet environment. Over the years, I have received facials, massages, and waxing services. The staff has always proved to be highly trained and the materials they use are always the best. If there was a six star rating, Ruth’s Skin Care would get it!

Hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. A must for when you want to pamper yourself. And an even bigger must when you’ve neglected your skin for a few months and need to take some years off without getting injections.
All the women here are incredible, so you really can’t go wrong. Everyone is Russian and let me tell you, you haven’t had a proper facial until you’ve had one given by a Russian lady. For starters, these women have all been trained back there, and you need to be a nurse prior to being an aesthetician in their country. They really know their stuff.
For 90 minutes my face (and chest, head and neck) was massaged with various cleansers, steam all in an effort to make extractions easier and virtually painless. The mask at the end really seals the deal and locks in moisture. Spring for extra time on the perfect pressure hand and foot massage — 30 mins for $ 25.
I walked out of there feeling and looking if I dare say, like a girl of 35 again!

This review is for Janna who does my facials. I really enjoy coming to see her. She is so kind. When she does extractions, she always makes sure to get every single blackhead or pimple. I also really like how she doesn’t try to sell other services while she gives her facials. Massage of the face, neck and shoulder areas comes with her facial, and that portion is very relaxing. She is very sweet and a pleasure to spend time with.

Always amazing. I’ve been going here for years and I’m never disappointed. The staff is so accommodating, warm, and friendly. Their attitude is always about the customer. Xiana is by far the most wonderful for facials. Customizes according to my needs. Ina is so fast and thorough with her waxing. Their prices are more than reasonable.
Ruth is a sweetheart who really cares about giving her customers WHATEVER they want. Can’t say enough. Will keep coming back as a loyal customer since I get loyal service.

this is the best place i have found for waxings. they are gentle and quick. i wouldn’t go anywhere else. it’s a really clean spa and you feel like you’re going to a very nice spa for a wax.

I had been going to Ina at Ruth’s for nearly 10 years, since their last TWO locations. Ina is terrific but as many others have said, Ruth the owner is a nightmare. She is unprofessional and treats clients like she is doing THEM a favor. I have seen her scold someone and kick them out for being 5 minutes late to an appointment. Thankfully she is not there all of the time, but I can’t contribute to her pocket for her sole gain and have now boicotted the place. If she calls you «honey» be very afraid. I hope Ina wises up and goes elsewhere — she doesn’t need that witch for a boss!

I’ve been here quite a few times. I absolutely love the ladies who work here, they are always very nice and accommodating. I’ve already brought them 3 new customers who now go there regularly.
I also swear by their face/​ingrown hair cream. It’s works miracles on me and for my boyfriend if he ever has any ingrown hairs. Also, their facials and microdermabrasion are amazing.
Though, the last couple times I’ve been there they are rushing to get done and didn’t remove a lot of my hair. My back side was still completely full of hair. I even paid an extra 10 $ for it!
I want to go back, but I do not want them to rush through something that I pay them to do well!

I’ve been going to Ruth’s for around 15 years and it’s just the best. Ruth is an excellent, thorough, polite, professional proprietor. All her hires are lovely… but Ina is incredible, and always enjoy our wax sessions (inspite of the actual ripping part!). Waxing is my reason I go (all the way from the beach!), but the Nourishing Facial I’ve also done a few times and it’s spectacular. Service, cleanliness/​presentation, efficiency, wonderful attitude and pros… and decent pricing. All the things I look for, and think most people do. KUDOS! (and thanks for all the good years)

The 3 stars is for Ina, who is literally the most painless waxer I have ever experienced. She knows her way around a woman’s body, and I dont want to call it pleasurable, but no one can surpass Ina’s skills and techniques when it comes to waxing the unmentionable.
Now the owner, on the other hand, is a whole different story. Ruth is extremely rude, and has an attitude for no reason…

I’ve been going to Ruth’s since they were at their other location, it’s the only place I’ll go for waxing in LA. All the ladies are great but Ina is my girl, she is amazing! She is meticulous, professional and incredibly sweet. I also love how they do their best to accommodate me if I need to get an appointment on short notice. Overall it’s great service at great prices-​highly recommend!

The owner Ruth is soo professional and very experienced at what she does. I love the facials and the attention I get by the staff while I’m relaxing in the room. There is not a place in California that comes close to the facial offered at Ruths. Absolutely amazing and your face is actually cleaned pore by pore, extractions, lactic acid, a peal, shoulders, arms and hand massage, and it ends with an awesome white clay mold that molds to your face.
Never been anywhere that puts this amount of time in to their clients and yet its super reasonable!
Fave products are Lacto and lactic serum

I drive from Valencia just to get there because nowhere remotely compares.

Jana is so wonderful and spends so much time with me. She is also great with lash tint and although she isn’t a massage therapist, never had better shoulder or foot massage then Jana! Can’t say enough about This place and I’ve tried over 100 spas that don’t come close but 3 times the price. Each time I go I’m treated like a princess;)

I have been going to Ruth’s Skin care for several years, since I moved to La. I must say I am an explorer and love to see what is out there and by far they are the BEST hidden secret in LA. They treat you like you are the most special person, service is amazing and all the girls at Ruths pamper you so much. I have gone to several places and if you want a great facial, micro, waxing or a few minutes to relax with a scalp/​head massage, I would recommend you try Ruths Also she has a wonderful perfume called Caroline that she sells and everywhere I go, I get stopped and I am asked questions re: the smell and perfume. People stop me all the time. Ina and Gena are both wonderful!!!
The owner is very professional and cares about her clients very much and is always willing to listen to making the experience more pampering and special.

I tried this place because it’s close to me. Yes the prices are great but I was thrown off by the fact that they make you wear underwear while getting a brazilian and when I voiced concern my waxer got every defensive making it very uncomfortable. I gave it a 2^nd try and the same happened I also felt like she was rude.
After both waxes my hair grew back fast than normal and I got ingrown hairs.
I don’t plan to go back
