The owners at this store are sleazy and they are overpriced. Super racist too! They get all pissed when black people come in there and hide in the back. They used to have one super rude washed-up porn star Latina working there who used to follow you around like you were going to steal something(she was hooking up with one of the owners too gross!) she always would charge girl customers extra(she double taxed me once and I caught her). So yeah, watch out for her, not sure if she still works there but she’s an idiot.

Best place to find band t shirts aside from the net, a wide variety of metal and rock shirts, always find something when I make it down there.

This place truly rocks! The ladies that work here are helpful and friendly! Prices are quite reasonable. I checked prices online and they were comparable. This is the only place on Hollywood Blvd to by rock n’roll or motorcycle wear.

Rude, rude, rude. I was in with my young son on Thursday, and was hustled out of the place. if you like indifferent service, a filthy store and high prices then this is the store for you. For the rest of us, go to shop somewhere else. better selection and prices. BADPEOPLESCUMBAGS. Save yourself the money and time DONOTSHOPTHERE

This place is awesome, and I wish Utah had something similar! The awesome front display drew me in, and I don’t regret a thing. I was greeted by rows and rows of black t shirts with awesome bands on them, which really is my dream. They had tons of other items, including Lucky 13 jackets, body jewelry, and pipes. All of the above were super cool. The lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful, and pulled out all of her Marilyn Manson merchandise, after hearing about my love of him. Needless to say, she made the sale. I walked out with three new Manson shirts to add to my ever growing collection, and my wallet didn’t take a huge hit either! Now that I am back in Utah, I really wish I would have picked up one of those Lucky 13 jackets. They were pretty expensive, but I think it would have been worth it. Maybe next time I’m in Cali.

This is the place to be when it comes to being a metalhead, black metal, thrasher, anything but EMO(eff them). You got a guy to help you and altering hot chicks as well. Don’t be shy to chat with them, it’s whats best to improve the customer service ;)

Huge selection of metal shirts for bands you wouldn’t commonly find merch for. If by chance they don’t have what you want, the owner will order it for you. Very nice guy. The best part(for me) is that they carry metal shirts for ladies. I guess female black metal fans are too scarce for anyone to bother making shirts for them, so finding metal shirts that aren’t giant and are fitted properly is damn near impossible for us chicks, but Rock Town has them. The selection of girl shirts is very small compared to the regular selection, but still nice, and I don’t know where else I ever would have found girly-sized Emperor or Leviathan shirts.

Incredible selection of metal shirts. They have a wide range of bands, as well as a wide range of old designs to new designs. They have a lot of shirts on the wall, but there are even more on the shelves if you look carefully. I just wish they offered an online store, because I would spend mass amounts of money there, since I don’t live in L.A.

I agree, Rocktown is a pretty BAD A** store!!! They seem to have allot of cool SH*T. I’ve been going there for years!(like at least 5). I’ve spent $ 1000s on black T-shirts there. The owners there are very nice!!! The guy that runs the place is ultra cool! His brother runs the shop next store — so if you can’t find what you need at Rocktown, go next store. Rocktown also has a bunch of photos everywhere of tons of famous rockers in the store. A very Cool store for sure!!! Their prices are definitely better than . Rocktown’s shirts seem to shrink after awhile(I’m not sure if the shirts are fully legit or licensed). But for $ 20 bucks you cant go wrong. Only downside… they stock nothing larger than XL. If you’re looking for 2XL or larger, order on-line from .
