Rocco was great to work with.
He helped me with a hair disaster. I dyed my hair previously and it came out a hideous orange. Rocco’s coloring job was so beautiful and hid all the mistakes from my previous dye job.
Not to mention his music playlist was awesome!

Rocco is fantastic! He squeezed me into his schedule at last minute, for a deep conditioning and cut right before he went on vacation, and I really appreciate that! He asks a lot of questions about how you like to style your hair, and what you’d prefer for the cut, to make sure he gets it exactly the way you want! The deep conditioning was so relaxing and his studio has a wonderful, quiet spa atmosphere. And his dog Bella is adorable! A great afternoon of pampering, I will be back again!

Totally awesome! Rocco can make you look fantastic. He is very confident and you don’t need to worry about anything, just sit in the chair and relax. You are in the hands on the master. Loved it and will be back.

First time meeting Rocco today and it will Not be my last! He made an Incredible and Amazing change to my hair today to the point that once my mom saw the results, she cried tears that her baby girl was growing up! (I’m in my early 30’s, married with 2 kids and THIS defines that I’m all grown up LOL). Rocco really listened to what I wanted in terms of length and color. I had a Groupon and honored it. He also did a Fantastic job in balancing my appt with 2 other clients who one of them showed up late and the other one showed up early! He was sweet in wanting to get to know me, it felt like a friend was doing my hair. I couldn’t help but Hug him at the end! Then we texted after when he wanted to know how my family reacted to the new do! Not stalker at All but Super Sweet human being! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROCCO! And yes, my Husband Absolutely LOVED my hair ;)

Main Points for those who don’t want to read my full review:
*He came on a day he doesn’t normally come to do my hair.
*He actually asked me what temperature I wanted the water before washing my hair (this is rare in my experience)
*He is understanding, EXTREMELY patient, listens VERY well, gives his opinion and won’t let you make yourself look like a fool :), very personable and fun to talk to.
*You feel his certainty on he has no doubt that he will get it right, which makes you feel comfortable.
*Cozy space plenty of parking right out front.
You know when you see a business with 5 star reviews you have to stop and wonder, is this for real? Well, after reading quite a few of Rocco’s reviews I could tell they were real and everything described was what I had been looking for and so I was hopeful.
I had decided it was time to chop of the hair, with summer coming and me not really into «doing my hair». as of late just feeling like it was in the way and on top of that I had this urge to color my hair pink… not ENTIRELY pink, but yep.
So I first went to Groupon to find a deal, in hopes of finding someone I would love and stick with. I have had a few bad experiences and just didn’t want to spend $ 130 to $ 200 on someone that I know nothing about… if it wasn’t going to go great I would at least like to walk away with not spending top dollar. ANYWAY, there he was on Groupon, so I looked him up on Unilocal and low and behold there was his 99.9% 5 Star reviews, I read through quite a few to determine if it would be a fit. To shorten this… I booked the appt and he even came on a day he doesn’t normally work as he had another Quick short touch up client and so he fit me in, which I appreciated.
He was so personable he told me to send over some photos via text of what I was considering and a current photo of myself and even spoke to me about them after work hours.
When I arrived I was considering backing out of the pink and he convinced me to move forward with it, which I did, and boy what a great decision. He put the right amount of pretty pink and cut it short with a lot of layers and somewhat spiky which is exactly what I wanted. I even noticed he stopped cutting about half way which was great as it was but I was comfortable to go even shorter.
In the end… I LOVE it and it’s been a LONG time since I have walked out loving the whole experience and everything about the cut AND color :)
In truth he is not the cheapest. yes you might be able to find someone else a bit more affordable that your okay with. but if you want TOTAL understanding, and do exactly what you want (even for those of us with uncertainty) and walk out and feel like you found your guy well he is the one and this is the place. Remember you get what you pay for! :)

It took me a while to find this Salon on Unilocal,as I was looking under ROCCO VIP. It certainly is a VIP experience. You get one-​on-​one attention from Anthony, and my hair always looks amazing after a visit. The salon itself of unassuming from the outside, but once your in there, it transforms into a little a little oasis. Just a special little place for your special me time.

Awesome experience! Loved the one on one interaction and his work is great. I was going for a black and burgundy ombré look and he nailed it. I had so many questions being that it was my first time dying my hair and he answered every one and told me how to care for my hair. I had a great time in his studio which is so comforting and cute. I will definitely be going back! Love my hair!

I had a great experience with Rocco. I had been looking for a place that understood what I was looking for. He is a great listener and and the environment is great. I left feeling beautiful and confident for my boyfriend birthday. He does a great job! He diffently knows what he is doing! I’m going back for sure!

Came in today for the first time and was helped by Anthony. I am not a very knowledgeable with hair or products so I came in for a cut and conditioning treatment by means of Groupon and let me tell you, I got WAY MORE than I expected. I came in with extremely damaged ends and had to get a good couple of inches cut off. I was really nervous because I wanted to preserve as much length as possible but after my cut I left the salon with shiny, voluminous, and healthy hair!
I am so glad I found this place! Anthony is so personable, professional, and such a down to earth guy. He really listens and invests his time in making sure you are well taken care of and leave his place looking nothing less than a superstar!!! I really enjoyed my session with him and can definitely say that I have found my new hair stylist! Will definitely come back!!!

Anthony is the best! He is an expert in color and cuts. He does a fantastic job with my hair and always gives me what I want… great hair! The salon is lovely, clean and relaxing. Anthony is always accommodating, friendly and professional. I highly recommend his services!

As I have been preparing for my wedding, getting my hair and makeup trial done with Anthony was something I was really looking forward to. He did not disappoint! I came in with a few ideas for hair and makeup… he took my vision and created a wedding day look that blew me away!!! He had such a fun attitude and made me feel taken care of. Anthony listens and asks questions about your own hair practice. Do you own a curling iron? Are you a wash and dry person or would you rather spend time with your hair?
I personally I am wash and dry and Anthony ran with the info. I asked him to take off two inches and he took off about twenty years!!! LOL really.
He added bangs which made my eyes look bigger and hide the wrinkles on my forehead. By layering the hair in front he curved the hair and softened my jawline and slimmed my neck.
Cutting hair is his passion and when you meet someone who is passionate about his work it shows.
I have gotten compliments everyday! The changes are very subtle but the results are amazing changes

I’ve been trying to find a good hair stylist for years. Most are just ok, but none that I really like. Well, today I got WOW’d. Anthony is amazing! I finally got the red I wanted. I’m so happy with my hair. If your looking for amazing look no further… Rocco Rocks!!!

My daughter found Rocco and thanks Unilocal!because the people who Unilocal really know how to rate a service and are honest about the pros and cons. Before I came in he wanted a photo of my hair and an idea of what I wanted to do with it. Usually stylists just say «come on in» and then we waste half an hour going through photos and deciding.
I’ve been through 14 months of trying to go platinum and the previous stylist recommended a slow transition which meant lifting color for over 5 months and then «toning it» so that it wouldn’t be a shade of orange. Each time, the toning darkened it a couple of shades from the bleaching and so the process was at a crawl. After 5 months, they said I shouldn’t do any more bleaching and so the next 9 months I paid to touch up the roots on a color I didn’t like anyway and a color that wasn’t complimentary. If the color and the style had been amazing, I wouldn’t have minded the time and expense but neither was flattering and it left me feeling like I would never like my hair again.
Well, Rocco has a lot of patience and listened to my nightmare and was extremely sympathetic and helpful. I was anxious, nervous and depressed when I sat down in his chair, a very comfortable chair I might add and my puppy LaLu got to sit in my lap while we talked about everything from hair to life to romance. He also has a huge background in makeup so I will have to try his makeup another time.
He checked the condition of my hair and said he had a product that could lift it completely if not in 1 session then 2 sessions. He took his time and was careful to check my hair during the whole process and 4 hours later… voila!!! I had the platinum I was aiming for. Then he gave me a great shampoo, with head massage, a deep conditioning treatment that smelled divine and a blow out. Take at look at the before and after photos: he’s absolutely amazing!

I have been jumping from hair stylist to hair stylist over the years until I found Anthony over a year ago. He is SO talented in hair color and hair cuts.
He opened up his own salon, which I went to for the first time yesterday and was SO Impressed!!! It is a charming and welcoming private studio where you can truly relax and ENJOY the experience of getting your hair done.
Anthony gave me different suggestions for a cut and color that would work well for me (based on my skin tone, the way I style my hair and how infrequently I actually get my hair done).
he makes you feel totally at home.
