Rob Shots Photography

I had the pleasure of meeting Rob as a fellow colleague and, when I found out he is a photographer and checked out his portfolio, I knew he was the person I wanted to take my next set of shots. Rob created the most comfortable and fun environment for our shoot. I typically have a tough time relaxing when being photographed, but he helped me get out of my shell in a way that no other photographer has ever done. He asked questions and worked so compassionately to help me in discover ease and say «goodbye» to tension in my session.
Rob has such great vision, as well. He was able to get looks out of me that I never thought of, and never thought I could accomplish. He allowed me to take a look at each shot he got from me in different increments so that both he and I could talk right then and there about what we thought of the shots, if we achieved what we wanted and what they would look like in post. Even after the shoot, Rob has been very accessible and hands-​on regarding my questions and requests.
I am in earnest when I say that I have never left a session feeling so confident about the results. I plan to shoot with Rob again in the the near future, and I am already so excited that I am picking out my outfits and envisioning what I want to accomplish.

Just recently worked with Rob and he is a spectacular photographer. He gave such great advice and that alone helped me with capturing the right look talent agencies want to see. Just finished shooting with rob, great experience! It was my first time getting head shots done so I went in a little nervous. Rob did a great job making me feel very comfortable and loose. Studio was very warm and welcoming. I also forgot to bring in a shirt for my last look and he allowed me to shoot it later at another time. Great experience, highly recommend!

Hello! I recently had a session with Rob to shoot my new head shots. Typically I despise the «head shot experience», but I must say that Rob totally changed my perspective. His studio is beautiful, light and fresh. He has a vanity which was extremely helpful to me and the hair and makeup gals that I hired. The moment I walked in, Rob asked me which Pandora station I liked, and he offered up a variety of snacks and beverages… the little things always count ;) .Most importantly, his skills in photography are phenomenal. Rob pays close attention to detail. His camera is directly linked to his computer, so you get to look at your photos right away, and adjust accordingly. Rob won’t spend three exhausting hours taking 600+ photos of you. His patience, precision and passion allow for the process to happen much more quickly, and truly provide for a fun and exciting experience. His pricing is beyond reasonable, and worth every penny. My shoot with Rob was by far the BEST head shot session I’ve ever had, and I have the photos to prove it.

Perfect setting for a studio, nothing obnoxious and comfortable enough to still put you in the vibe to do a great shoot. Couldn’t believe he hand painted my favorite back drops! He has amazing tips, and especially after sharing my secret nervousness that comes out only in headshot sessions, he generously and patiently walked me through each shot. I was so comfortable and got many quality pictures instead of the usual one out of two hundred. I’m so happy with the results and picking my favorites was a struggle because there were so many good ones for once. His adjustments are so helpful and he adapts to you right away, his goals are to capture the best of you, what he intuitively senses that resides within while maintaining the quality of capturing a great picture that will draw lookers in. I’m so excited to see how much this helps with bookings, I can confidently hand my headshots over at castings and will definitely recommend him to everyone. It’s so refreshing to see talented people who are passionate about what they do and who remain humble and always flexible to learning how to better their craft. Can’t wait to shoot again!!!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Rob this last week. First off, his studio space is beautiful and he was extremely welcoming. Rob had a way of making me feel super comfortable right off the bat. After picking out music I liked, we got to shooting. Rob has a keen sense for getting the angles and lighting just right and also capturing authentic moments that don’t look or feel forced. The result? Amazing shots.
The best part about his shooting style was that he goes through the pictures with you AS YOU SHOOT. Rather than ending up with several hundred shots and weeding through to find a handful you like, Rob goes over the photos with you after each round and helps you decide which to keep, deleting unnecessary shots along the way. This made it really helpful because you end up being able to feel out how you’re doing and adjust poses and facial expressions accordingly to end up with the best shots possible!
I highly recommend using Rob Shots Photography for anyone, whether you’re just needing some updated shots or a full books worth of photos, Rob’s energy and eye will help you get exactly what you want out of your shoot!

Rob is the best! He is a great photographer. Not only is his personality fun, which makes the shoot an absolute pleasure, but his expertise in capturing great images with great angles and lighting is superb. My session with Rob a year ago, was the best experience I have ever had on a shoot. He shot my acting headshot against a variety of studio backdrops. Rob certainly takes pains to set the mood in the room. The studio was clean and well lit. Rob played my choice of music in the background which helped me relax and get into the mood. He had a gift of making me comfortable in front of the camera, and building me up as an artist at the same time.
At the end of the shoot, his wife brought out a plate of freshly baked treats. An added treat… Rob patiently walked though the images with me between each look and did an excellent job afterwords with the final product.
Then last month, I invited Rob to an event to take still photos of my specialty cocktails which I had hand crafted for work. He did an amazing job capturing the inspiration behind my drinks. I used these images proudly. He certainly has a wide range of talent. I recommend his services highly. With Rob, I got not only an exceptional artist, but a man of integrity I could easily trust.

I came to Rob Shots studio from a referral of a friend. I needed to complete a last minute self-​tape for an audition. When I walked into the posh downtown studio, I was welcomed by a beautiful and clean work space. If privacy is important to you, this studio is a perfect choice! I was able to take the time to prepare my work without any distractions. The self-​tape came out AMAZING! It was great quality with terrific lighting. After sending my self tape audition to casting, I received an actually audition with the director! I highly recommend Rob Shots for all of your self-​tape auditions!

Had an amazing experience with Rob for my acting Headshots! Was super easy to work with, efficient and I got my photos right away. He had a variety of backdrops and had a screen so you could see your images right after (always a plus)

Rob Shots Photography is a total pleasure to work with and how every shoot should be. He has a BOMB studio and is great at communication during shooting to make sure you are both happy with the work along the way. The turnaround was a few days not a couple weeks like most shoots, and my images are BEAUTIFUL. ALL AROUND GREAT TO WORK WITH AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have had head shots done by a number of photographers and its quite often a very stressful inducing experience having someone up in your face trying to get the perfect picture, but Rob keeps everything very low pressure, very fun, and extremely relaxed. He has a true passion for finding your personality through a photo and has a very comforting and energetic attitude towards his work and towards yours!
