I don’t think that I can even describe how amazing the service is here. We went for my cousins graduation party, we are from Honduras, she loves food that it’s from Honduras. They decorated the restaurant for us, so our grad can feel at home. The waitress where so helpful and for some it was their first time trying Honduran food, they where really patient with us. During all of our stay we didn’t feel rush or even pressured to leave fast. Everyone loved their food and even asked for extra to take home. I personally had the carne Molida with platanos and loved it, the flavor was so rich and the meat was well cooked. I love platanos Fritos and these where really tasty! I highly recommend them for a birthday party or even a big gathering that you may have with your family.

This place isnt what it used to be, food is good but its a hit or miss and you will likely wait forever. Idk if they have new owners but this was the go too spot before! Beans are good not gonna lie but this place isnt what it used to be. If u have time to waste waiting for ur food give it a try

My girlfriend and I have been here twice and tried something different each time, Baleadas, Garnachas, Bistec Encebollado, Arroz con Camarones and Pollo Guisado, everything has been very delicious and it’s among my favorite places to eat. I never do reviews but it was so delicious I felt I had to

And my first review ever goes to… this hole in the wall(but not really) restaurant. After leaving an extremely long Christmas pageant at St. Agnes down the street, my family and I were in search of some food. Not in the mood for tacos, I suggested we find pupusas since we’re Salvadorian. Lo and behold, the one spot we knew was closed so we decided to try Rincon a block or two away. Ordered: — 2 cheese & beans pupusas, 4 pupusas revueltas, 2 cheese with loroco pupusas, and 2 chicharron pupusas. $ 2.50 each — 2 ensaladas $ 3.00 — 1 lemonade $ 3.00 Thoughts: Definitely some of the best pupusas we’ve had(except for the ones my step mom makes, of course). We all ate in silence since they were so good. The ensaladas were great — not too sweet and the fruit tasted fresh. What surprised us most was the lemonade. It took a while to get it because the lady made it fresh — none of that«pour it from a carton» lemonade stuff. Why the stars: Only 4 stars because there are no half stars to make it a 4.5. Be prepared to wait a while for service and your food because it’s made as soon as you order. Be prepared to wait even longer if it’s packed. It took a good while for us and there were only two other tables there. Decorations need a bit of an upgrade, too.

Que ricura de baleadas. Las eh probado en otros restaurantes y ni uno lo hace como el rincón hondureño. Se los recomiendo

The food at this place is very good. I highly recommend. But, the wait time to get it is way too long even if you order over the phone. Therefore, I say come when you are not too hungry. Otherwise, you will get upset over the wait time.

Another great dinner here. The pollo hondureno and bistec encebollado were delicious — and huge. Good beans and homemade hot sauce. Very friendly service. The food takes a little while but that’s because it’s made fresh. A great little neighborhood spot!

Came here for the first time. And the place was clean. The server was all by herself, so she was in a hurry to take our order. I didn’t like that, but I used to work in restaurant business so I know how she felt. Can’t blame she for that. And the food was brought out fairly quickly which amazed me. And to top it off the food display was perfect. Actually shocked me. I will return soon.

This is the BEST place for Honduran food! Everything tastes like home! I’ve tried all types of baleadas, pupusas, pastelitos de carne, enchiladas, salpicón, plátanos maduros, chuletas, and more! I am totally addicted to the papaya shake! Be advised that they make everything to order, so it takes 15 – 20 minutes for your order to get to the table.

This place was awesome, I never use Unilocal but it was so good I decided to come on here and leave a comment. I never had Hondureno food before but it was so bomb! Don’t even get me started on the fresh drinks they have here they are so refreshing. I ordered the quesadillas that has fresh cheese, avocado, steak, egg, with some fresh salsa which I highly recommend!!! and the pupsasa with all the toppings were to good!!! Check it out! don’t listen to the haters below

I love this place. it’s a quiet, modest place that serves great honduran food! I am not Honduran myself, but I have gone to this restaurant with a genuine Honduran person who verified the authenticity of the dishes and their tastes. The baleadas for half price from 8 to 10 make this restaurant an amazing and affordable treat. The freshly made tortillas are warm and soft, to die for! Highly recommended!

I like this restaurant, but i think it would be even better if they can serve the beer from Honduras(Salva Vida). My husband is from Honduras so he always goes to buy food here and he orders the pollo con tajadas for him and Baledas for me. I think the baledas are really good. He orders pupusas for my mom because my mom is from El Salvador and is an expert with pupusas. She gives they’re pupusas 4.5 stars lol. Which that is good! So over all I think they’re food is great. It’s a small place so it can be hard to catch but its on a main street. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try food from Honduras. :)

This place takes too long to serve & only to serve really poor quality food. The drinks were the only tasty part of the meal.

I took the suggestion of a commenter and tried the juice. OMG! The passion juice is absolutely delicious! I ordered Chorizo con juevos. It came with refried kidney beans, platanos, avocado, mexican cheese, and sour cream! It took a while to make, but everything is made from scratch. They even make the guacamole like an avocado salsa. Everything is made to order!!! Definitely worth the money!

Great local joint for Honduran food. The food is pretty kick ass, especially their tortillas and banana drinks, even though that’s pretty scarce. I recommend it to any Honduran affecionado over Honduran foods. I’m not a fan of the prices though. For example, banana drinks can run up $ 3.50 and preparation time can exceed 20 minutes waiting. If you have the patience and a bit of money to burn, I recommend this over the rest.

Dude, seriously? There are Rincon Honureno haters out there?! I’ve been to RH a bunch of times while on a trip to LA and I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was. I’m from the Va/DC/Md area and there are very few Honduran restaurants, much less good ones. RH delivered every single time– food was quick(and more importantly, tasty) and the service was friendly. Also, you can get your quick fix of Telemundo every single time you visit. Win win situation. I had the huevos rancheros– it was delicious. Add a couple sips of horchata and you’re cruising for a siesta you didn’t even know was on your agenda for the day. The only complaint I have was that the coffee was consistently weak every single time I came here for breakfast. When you come in, hungover or otherwise, it’s always nice to have a strong cup of brew with breakfast. All else though? Bueno.
