History

Established in 2011.

Rev Cycle started with just a few bikes, a couple instructors and a handful of students. The studio has now evolved into an amazing health and fitness space where people meet, work out, have fun and give back. Instead of dark and cramped, Rev Cycle has a vibrant and open fitness space. One that is welcoming and friendly to clients of all levels, not scary and intimidating. Rev cycle is dedicated to nurturing the vitality of this wonderful Eagle Rock community, and giving back!

Like many of you, I tried a bunch of different exercise programs, and were frustrated with them all until we discovered indoor cycling. I fell in love with cycling because it is just about the best cardio exercises out there. I realized these classes will increase your fitness level dramatically, burn hundreds of calories while toning you up. And I was hooked! The upbeat music, inspiring instructors, and a team of riders with you will push you to levels you never imagined possible. Best of all, riders at every fitness level can participate in the same class.

Love it! This was my first time trying a spin class and I fell in love with it. I have been going for a Month now and plan on continuing with rev studio. The staff is great, the gym is clean, and they have a great class schedule that can accommodate everyone.

I love love love Octavia’s class! I try to make it to her class whenever I can. I love her music and she is so great about helping you get into the beat. I’ve also been to Nairi and Brandon’s classes and really love their classes too.
I also really like the studio in general. They have free towels and I love the camaraderie there. I’ve been to some other (non-​spin) studios where the vibe is really snobby, so I really enjoy that everyone I’ve met at Rev Cycle is very friendly and genuine.
The only thing I don’t like about this studio is that my fitness tracking watch doesn’t work there since it can’t find a GPS signal in that area. Oh well.

When I moved to LA from NorCal, I was worried that I might have a hard time finding another great studio near my new home. I was delighted to find RevCycle and have been riding there several times a week ever since. Nairi, Jess, Katie, Octavia, and Kathie are all great instructors and I feel challenged on every ride. To complete the package the studio also supports the community with charity events and theme rides. I’ve got to say I love staying fit with the Revcycle crew!

I love going here! All the instructors are superb! A truly gem of eagle rock. They have good customer service. The workout here seems not a workout after all, even though my triple layered of top clothes are all soaked with sweat after Because I enjoyed it so much.

This is the only cycling studio I’ve been to in my life, but I really like this place. Its clean, has great equipment and friendly highly motivating staff. I love coming here, my only issue would be them not having daily «Mid-​morning» classes, like a daily 7am class and a daily 8am class.

I would have to agree with Shana S.‘s review. Taken 2 classes here and the classes are very simple and not challenging at all. If you are a beginner, this place would be a good place to start with, but I think you can get this experience at a local fitness gym as it really basic, no beat, and just kinda boring and no structure to the classes. Dosen’t compete with the other studios in LA (Aura, Soul, CycleHouse, Flywheel). The studio is pretty nice itself, but they need to block off the studio itself then have it all open with the reception desk and entrance. You walk in and everything is out in the open. Dosen’t give the real spin experience. I also heard the instructor tell people to just stay in the saddle if they don’t feel comfortable which to me, dosen’t help to push and challenge myself.

Signed up with their new client offer ($ 59 for 1 month of unlimited cycling). My coworkers and I all signed up together. We particularly really enjoyed Brandon’s class! He is a great instructor and really motivates you. His classes were every Tue/​Thur so it was a perfect way to get a weekly work out in! The facility is very clean. They provide towels and have 3 large fans running throughout the entire class. They also have sanitary wipes to wipe down the bikes for the next use.

Revolutions Cycling Studio has got to be the best around. All of the instructors are upbeat and fun and encouraging. The music is fun and relevant and they’re very active in the community. I don’t have anything bad to say about them. You have to try them out if you haven’t already.

This is how friendly and amazing this place is: I arrived just as the class was starting, and the only bike left was of a pedal clip different from what my biking shoes had. The owner, Nairi, promptly offered me her own shoes so I could ride on that last available bike. Her own shoes. I’ve been to many other indoor cycling places, but I am yet to find a cycling «family» like how I feel when I am at Rev Cycle.

All the reviews are accurate but fail to mention how crazy hot and humid it gets in there. It’s too hot for me to really be able to push myself without feeling sick. They need a better AC system. I can’t even imagine what it will be like there in the summer if the AC can’t handle cooling off that little room when it’s 60 degrees and cloudy outside. («Lots of sweaty bodies!» Yes, that’s what you have AC for, right?)
You have to pack your water in our buy it. The bathroom sink is shallow, I can’t get my water bottle under the spout.

Loved my first cycling class by Nairi! She’s friendly, very helpful, cheerful, I loved her positive energy. Knowing that it’s my first time trying out the spin class, she guided me how to do the setup and making sure I’m comfortable before she start the class.
The session was fun with a mix of great songs, especially with clear instructions from Nairi during the workout on how much can and should we turn the resistance knob! Loved the way she motivates her students. Her energy and positive vibes, made me stay the entire hour.
Free street parking, clean and modern place, awesome instructor, great environment to work out, Thank you Nairi for making my first experience awesome, I’ll def be back to climb more mountains =)

My first time taking a spin class and I wanted to take advantage of their $ 59 new client special. On the first day of class, an older, very nice gentlemen helped me set up my bike since he knew I looked new.
All the teachers are extremely nice and I love Katie’s rev n tone class and Jessica’s class in general. She is very motivating and her class can be a challenge but she gets me to try my hardest without being a drill Sargent.
Also the hours are very accommodating. I work full time during the week and it’s nice to go work out after work.

I have been to other spin studios in LA but I never really enjoyed the workouts at those other places. The seats were too uncomfortable and/​or the instructors barked at the students bootcamp-​style.
I absolutely love Revolutions cycling studio. It has made my legs (and arms) stronger and I am now one of those obnoxious people who tells everyone I meet how much I love spinning.
I have taken classes here for about three months with four different instructors: Nairi, Jess, Katie, and Brandon. All of their classes and styles are different but they all keep you motivated and play great music that helps the class go quickly. Katie teaches a class on Tuesdays and Thursdays called «Tone and RIde» which includes about 10 minutes of arm exercises with weights at the end. I especially love this class because my arms are super big and mushy.
It is a little pricey (as all spinning studios are) but your first class is free and they have a special where your first month of unlimited classes is only $ 59! If you cannot commit to the monthly fee of $ 129, I suggest buying a package of 10 or 20 classes, rather than an individual class, because a single class is $ 20.

I had never been a spinner (I teach and practice yoga daily) but I dropped in for one of her classes and felt a motivation to cycle I have never felt before in my life. From the bass dropping tunes, the high performance bikes, the clean studio, the energy of my classmates, and the authentic and motivational words– I AM HOOKED.

What a great no frills cycling studio! By no frills, what I mean is that it’s no-​nonsense, no ego, clean studio, basic amenities. They don’t have shoe rentals, showers or a water station but for the great spinning experience & friendly instructors, you get a challenging & satisfying 60 minute ride burning 500 – 600 calories each class! Great variation of of intensity and intervals in each class too. Love coming here through class pass and would even consider trying new rider special.
I’ve mostly taken classes with Brandon Hament and he is probably one of the most personable and encouraging spin instructors I’ve ever had. He is engaging in class and pushes you to your limits all whilst spewing motivational rants that gives you perspective about how you show up to the bike and how you show up in life. The hardest part is getting to the bike, the following 60 min will be a piece of cake that you will burn off through hard work and sweat. Go.
