I want to like this place because it really does have everything. But what a cluster mess it is every time. Either isles I need are blocked off for whatever reason, stuff doesn’t have tags or prices, and the checkouts are absolutely horrible. I get payroll, scheduling to your business, blah blah blah. Burn it’s just horrible. And everyone just seems miserable.

Employees seem so unhappy. No kind of customer service. You have to search for someone, even if you look lost they can care less. Wow! But it’s one of the only few places that sells restaurant wholesale… Hmmm isn’t this how über got started… Anyhow I’m surprised when I come to places like this with bad customer service and still in business but then there is that void hey fill and this place does it but with horrible customer service.

I have been coming to Restaurant Depot at least twice a week for the last year, and even though I am not a fan, it does seem that lately the management has been trying to improve the service. The last month, especially, I have noticed a few more employees saying Hello or asking me how its going, which is definitely an improvement. The desk help always seems like you’re bothering them when you need to make a return or get a new card, but there is definitely improvement… steady improvement. Hopefully soon the new attitude will trickle through all the departments and then management can get to work on speeding up the checkout process.
