Steer clear of Dr. Rayhan:
Pain: Never had so much pain from every angle, every appointment. Exorbitant wait times, in the chair and in the office.
Bad products: two crowns broke. One in the chair, and a second (different tooth) two months after cementing. Cheap material.
Overcharging: Quoting one number and charging a higher one. (Even with it clear that the only reason I wouldn’t go to another Dentist who was in my network was that they would match the price.)
Bad fitting: Every time, three in total, the crown did not fit properly — and it was «my fault.»
Steer clear of Dr. Rayhan.

I’ve been going to this office for over a year now, and as a person with very sensitive teeth & a bit of anxiety about dental work can honestly say, great dental office! Both Dr Marvizi & Dr Rayhan are great & caring & skilled and have done a superior job with my dental work (like that perfect partial crown in that cramped corner of my mouth). And the dental assistants rock too. Today I saw Jenny and she got those serious coffee stains out from between my teeth all while not hurting my super sensitive exposed nerve areas. And don’t forget the best front office staff ever with Sima at the helm.

I love the service and attention to detail I receive at Dr. Marvizi ’ office. I have been going to this office for 14 years now and I cannot even believe it has been that long. Dr. Marvizi is always honest and never sugar coats the treatment plan. I hate the needles dentist have to use to give local anesthesia and he is a master at it. Everyone has done an amazing job at keeping my teeth in my mouth. Lol. Rebecca, Dr. Lahmani, Dr. Rayhan and Jenny keep up the good work. Sima and Shamika (forgive if I spelled your name wrong) YOU GUYS ROCK! UNFORTUNATELY the only negative factor is the parking. I try to get the early appointments so I can park next door for $ 6. Early bird gets the worm.

I have been going to Dr. Marvizi for more than 20 years. I am in the film business, between here and NY and whenever I am in NY, I always wait to come back here and have him do my work. He did veneers for me and they are gorgeous. He has exquisite good taste and does the most professional job anyone could ask for.
The front office, run by Sima is so professional and I always know I am in good hands with all of them. Going to the dentist can be a terrifying experience, but Dr. Marvizi gives shots that you can never feel, and he is always using the highest technology in the dental world. My sister and her husband came out here from Louisiana and I took them to see Dr. Marvizi. They were stunned with the technology. Besides… Dr. Marvizi is a fabulous dentist. He did work on Larry’s mouth that absolutely transformed his smile. Dr. Rayhan is also great. She is very caring and extremely patient with you. The hygienists are super knowledgeable and very good at what they do.
When I read some reviews complaining about this and that… I am stunned. This dental office is the only place I will ever go. I’m so glad they became dentists.

My appt was for 7:00 am. It’s now 7:33am. I have to work at 8:30. I am waiting outside with the office staff who don’t have their office keys. Wth? This is the last straw of a LONG laundry list of extreme unprofessionalism by Dr. Marvizi’s office. I left at 7:45 when my husband returned to pick me up and take me to work. As I get in the car I noticed that it’s 50°F this morning. I do NOT plan to come back here. Consumers BEWARE.

I used ZocDoc to book my new-​patient appointment — I thought I was seeing Dr. Rayhan, but when I arrived, was told I was seeing Dr. Marvizi. No biggie.
As with most dental offices, there’s a suggestion of additional purchases/​services. Dr. Marvizi recommended Invisalign on my not-​very-​crooked bottom teeth, but once I said this was pretty low on my priority list, there was no pressure. (Also, it’s LA — I’m guessing there’s a lot of people that want super-​perfect teeth.)
You can tell the staff makes a point of being very friendly and personable. Within about ten minutes I knew about staff members’ pets, their alma maters and the career choices of the main doctors’ oldest kids. ;) But hey, the chatting probably keeps my fear at bay a bit, so I can’t complain.
They caught a doozie of a cavity — I’m actually wondering if my previous dentist missed it (?) Anyway, when I asked if I was the «interesting patient of the day» the staff members said «Yes!» — I was sort of hoping for the opposite answer, but they get points for honesty ;) I also liked that they let me divide the bill for my inlay into two payments.
Today Dr. Lahmani (different dentist within the group; he could fit me in the quickest) put a temporary inlay (sort of a small crown) on the aforementioned doozie of a cavity. It went very smoothly.
If I had one major frustration, it’s parking. Parking (valet) in the building isn’t cheap, and metered parking is only for an hour max. Both visits have gone over an hour, so I’m glad I parked in the building’s garage, though it was about $ 10 for each visit. Unfortunately the office no longer validates. Ack.

I have recommended everyone I know to Dr.Marvizi. Every step of every procedure is thoroughly explained to me. The times I needed local anesthesia, Dr. Marvizi’s technique has me speechless… you CAN’T feel the injection. It’s AMAZING! I rave about Dr. Marvizi’s team; Rebecca, Dr. Rayhan, Sima, Rebecca, Kim, everyone.
From the time I walk in to the time I leave, I am smiling. Everyone greets you with a smile and knows your name. Even other patients I see in the office are smiling. It’s amazing how I look forward to going to the dentist.
Dr. Marvizi will be taking care of my teeth for many more years to come!

This is the only dentist that I will go to! I hate hate hate the dentist. Nothing personal, but I get serious anxiety just knowing that I have an appointment. The staff at this office is amazing! Sima is the first face you see. She is always pleasant and nurturing. She makes me feel like I’m walking into her home and she’s such a gracious host. On one of my last visits, I casually mentioned that I was excited about starting a new job. A few days later, she sent me an email to find out how I was feeling (wisdom teeth pulled) and how my new job was going. Super sweet! Just knowing that she is there, instantly puts me at ease. I also love that she gives you a heads up, as far as cost, so there are no billing surprises on the way out.
The doctors are a great team. Dr. Rayhan is beautiful and warm. She has a really calming presence. She’s knowledgable and will go to any length to ease my dental phobia. Even if it means a little idle chit chat until my nerves calm. She also called to check in with me regarding my last visit and see how I was feeling. Dr. Marvizi is also fantastic. He does beautiful work and is ever the professional. He immediately goes to work and before you know it, the visit is over. It’s great for someone like me who wants in and out, as quickly as possible. I have not seen Dr. Lahmani (not sure if I spelled it right) in a while, but I think he is still at this practice. He is like having one of your good friends as your dentist. He is funny and sweet and a lot of fun. Also, I don’t think he’s married ladies! ;-) This is the only doctor’s office I’ve ever been to where it doesn’t matter which doctor I see. I’m not sure who exactly my dentist is because they are all great. I really don’t care which one of them I see, because I know that at this office, you can’t lose.
Oh, I also have to metion the hygienists. They have a great group of women there. They are all really friendly and smart. A lot of times they walk me through what’s going to happen, so that by the time I see the dentist, I am calm. I think a large part of me hating the dentist is the scary tools and sounds and not being able to see what they are doing. The hygienists help me out with that. I have to admit, I do have a favorite. Rebecca has been at this office forever and she knows exactly how to deal with my fears. She is a great hygienist and so much fun to talk to.
I just realized that this is the longest review I have ever written! I’ll wrap it up. This is a great practice with an incredible staff. Anyone in need of great dentist, look no further.

This dental office is a great place, with an exceptional staff from the front office to the hygienist to all doctors. I am a 9 year patient and a busy professional who welcomes their ability to accommodate my schedule with ease, grace and they always make you feel comfortable –making the dental appt. enjoyable and never dramatic. Definitely check this place out. Excellent plain and simple.

I have been a faithful patient of them for over 20 years! This husband and wife team are like family to me and have taken care of all of my family members as well. Dr. Marvizi is like a breath of fresh air for a dentist. No stoic, bland, «open your mouth» talk… He’s fun, personable and is always up to date with the latest in dentistry. Most importantly he gingerly caters to cowards.
The LA office team of Sima and Shameka make all the more reason to have them as your new dental office. They are more than professional, they are kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and professional. Not to mention they have worked there for years. They truly make you feel at home from the first call into them to simply using the restroom.
Take my word for it, you will never go wrong being cared for by this team. They are amazing!

I have visited this office two times now, and it’s been a great experience on both trips. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. I have found that I become very inquisitive when a drill comes anywhere close to my mouth, and the staff did a great job of answering the many questions I came up with.

This was the first dental appointment I’ve ever had where I didn’t feel rushed out or like they did the minimum to get by and bill my insurance. They were very thorough! And they didn’t try to break up my fillings into multiple appointments making me have to come back a million times which was SO great (cuz let’s face it — I won’t come back for like a year). They addressed my needle fears AND made sure I was comfortable. I felt like every person in that office cared about my teeth and that was super great.

Going to the dentist is not anyone’s idea of a good time (I don’t think) though these people certainly make it tolerable and easier on you. They play your music of choice (the last time I was there I picked rockabilly and dare I say I had some fun bobbing my foot while in the chair?) and for me, because I have to premedicate due to a medical condition I have, they provide me the anibiotics so that I don’t have to deal with getting the prescription from my doctor and going to the pharmacy to fill it– it’s a HUGE help. I’ve been going here for about four years and I know for a fact that they helped get my teeth back in good shape because the last dentist I had been going to had not been taking care of them properly. Sima and Shameeka are always great and SO knowledgeable, efficient and even fun to talk to. The Hygenist I usually see is so thorough, fun and really inspires me to take better care of my teeth (flossing, mouthguard, etc.) and Dr. Marvizi, he’s so caring and really takes pride in his work and checks often to make sure you’re ok– it’s really nice. Oh and there’s usually no wait– I’ve spent a good chunk of my life waiting around in dentists’ offices because they purposely schedule it that way, and when they finally bring you in to the chair it’s to wait some more, it’s SO annoying! But this place is really good about that, they reserve that time for you and don’t leave u there for hours neither in the waiting area nor in the chair. It’s hard to find good people and businesses these days who actually care about doing a good job, about their craft, that you’re satisfied and that don’t just want to get their paychecks and take your money– this is definitely a good place with good people.

This is by far the best dental office I have visited. I have been with Dr. Marvizi for 5 years and I have received excellent care. The offfice staff is professional, efficient and friendly.
The quality of dental service is great. When I came to Dr. Marvizi my gums were a wreck from years of poor dental service. Now my gums are healthy. Last year I had the Invisilign braces, and I had a superb result. Now I smile as often as I can to show off my beautiful straight, white teeth! If you want excellent care, you want to see Dr. Marvizi.

This is a great dental office. The front office staff, Sima, Shmeeka, and all the other women, are efficient, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming.
Dr. Marvizi is the best. He is very knowledgeable very thorough, and he is a perfectionist. He take great delight in doing a good job and making sure the customer is satisfied. Highly recommend!!!

The Dentists here are awesome! Dr. Lahmani is down to earth, personable, gentle and he goes above and beyond in all he does. The offices are clean and the staff was all very professional. Other dentists make you wait forever– wait in the waiting room, wait in the chair, etc… well, not Dr. Lahmani! This was the first time in my life that I was ever in and out of the dentist in 2 hours or less.
He is pretty much the opposite of all dentists I have interacted with… I mean that in a very GOOD way!
LOVE him and highly recommend!

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this HORRIFIC business. As if seeing a dentist isn’t awful enough, this place made the experience even worse. First off, I got dental work done while I was pregnant, and the office knew as I re-​iterated it again and again with them, as I was concerned about any medications they would give me during my procedure. But, the dentist came in and without speaking with me or really looking at my chart, came in and started administering a shot in my mouth – I made a mention about being pregnant to him… and he said «oh, you’re the one that’s pregnant?» WTF!!! He then proceeded to kind of freak out, until he verified that what he gave me was okay for me to have. Needless to say I spent the rest of the appointment shaking. Then, he didn’t put the medication in the right place to thoroughly numb my dental nerves, so I felt a lot of the work that he did… it was SOOOOO painful that I had tears streaming down my face.
Then…they precharged an estimated amount for my services to my credit card – and then billed my insurance a lesser amount of final charges, and REFUSED to repay me the over charged amount, even though they admitted to overcharging me.
AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL… STAY AWAY!!!
