Incredible thorough plumber. Wants to do all just right, no shortcuts. Learned from his father and is a perfectionist. Recommended to neighbors and they were extremely pleased.

Seriously the best Plummer I’ve ever worked with. I was lucky enough to have Randall himself come out. He was super cool, worked really quickly and quoted us an affordable rate. If you are looking for a honest Plummer that does great work and specializes in custom jobs, this is your guy.
I was blown away by what great work he did. Randall is truly a diamond in the rough.

This is my first review on Unilocal,but I had to let other people on Unilocal know the outstanding work Randall does. He responded to my call really quickly (texts are the best form of communication though) and helped me replace our broken water heater the next day. His prices are very reasonable and he can explain the work being done if you ask. After finishing the job, he noticed our regulator was acting up and he was able to replace that part the following day. It was in a very awkward place on the home and it took longer than expected, but he finished it up and the water pressure is perfect. Great person to work with and I’d recommend him to anyone needing work done. Thanks!

Randall is great at what he does and is great to work with. He recently did a couple of jobs for us and was responsive, punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and inexpensive. He was able to diagnose and unclog a blocked pipe after another plumber couldn’t. Randall capped obsolete hot and cold lines and a venting pipe and installed a whole house pressure regulator and pressure relief valve. He explained all the work and parts we needed and was a pleasure to talk with. Everything Randall did was done quickly and is working great. I trust him and plan to use him for any future plumbing issues.

Randall does excellent work from an emergency water main replacement to a full kitchen renovation. He is professional, extremely knowledgable and is prompt. I recommend his work to all of my friends.

Randall is the best plumber I’ve ever known. He is reliable, friendly, well-​priced, and on the ball. He’s always done super high-​quality, conscientious work. He is truly an expert at his trade. He’ll tell you it how it is, talk things through ahead of time, make sure you are always in the loop, and is very communicative. I think he’s getting a lot more busy than before, but good for him. He is my first call for anything plumbing related.

I cannot say enough about Randall. He did the plumbing for a bathroom remodel we did late last year. I was doing all the work myself, but plumbing is beyond my expertise so I decided to outsource that to the experts. Randall was perfect. I asked for a lot of things that are far outside the proverbial «box.» Randall put a drain in the floor below a clawfoot tub and worked expertly with very high end plumbing fixtures for the tub. They supply lines and shower plumbing we used are all exposed chrome so any small mistake would be highly visible. Further, the tub and plumbing went in with less than a .25 inch clearance from the wall and went onto marble tile over a poured concrete pan. All of this is waaay outside of a normal bathroom remodel (I never manage to do anything the easy way!). Randall was just perfect. He installed everything perfectly. All of this required him to work at a custom level which he could not have done better. His fee was very reasonable considering the scope of the project. And on top of all that he is a great guy as well. I cannot recommend Randall highly enough. It has been 9 months since we completed the bathroom and there have not been any problems with anything he installed. I am so pleased to have found Randall. He was the perfect person for the job.

I highly recommend Randal. He is super informative and excellent at his job. Also a very nice guy. He’s been doing this line of work for a while now leaving him with a lot experience making you feel comfortable and willing to want to work with him in the future. I’m really satisfied with the work he did for me.

I just had Randall over for the second time and it was just the same as the first. I feel like I’m getting an amazing price for work that is fantastic. He is definitely «my plumber» now.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication recently. I attempted to contact Randall for help, but he did not bother to respond. I thought I was going to be able to rely on him, but I guess not.

Overall experience was great. Came out for a quote. Went through the project very thoroughly. Quote was quote reasonble. Due to some other reason, the project is currently put on hold. So we didn’t hire him.
Can’t comment on the actual work.

I was looking for a plumber to do some work on our new house. Asking friends didn’t turn up any strong recommendations though. I looked to my fellow Unilocalers, and Randall Plumbing seemed to stand out. His work and service is exactly what you expect from reading these reviews. He was punctual and finished at his estimated time. His work is professional and without error. I presented him with my problem, he walked around the house, and under it, and came up with the best solution.
Randall is a nice guy, and somebody you can trust.

Just like the other reviews say, Randall is a total professional and wonderful at what he does. We called him in for a second estimate on running a gas line for our BBQ. The first plumber was recommended by our home inspector and he quoted a price that seemed rather high so I wanted a second opinion. Not only was Randall’s quote less than half what the other plumber estimated, he also debunked a lot of what the first plumber was telling us about our gas lines.
Randall was on time for both the initial estimate and install appointments. He explained everything thoroughly and in terms we could understand, and he was a pleasure to have in our home which you unfortunately cannot say about every contractor. He even dealt graciously with our barking, crazy dogs. I’ll never call another plumber in again. Randall’s officially our guy now!

Okay, when was the last time you had a plumber show up 5 minutes EARLY to an appointment? This dude is the BEST. He knows his craft better than any plumber I have ever dealt with. I have had a re-​curring problem with my shower drain. He took one look at it and used an approach no other plumber ever suggested. Guess what? The drain was clear in less than 5 minutes. His price is reasonable, he is reliable, on time, smart & efficient. If you call someone else instead of this guy, you are making a mistake.

I’m just like a previous reviewer, I like to do my homework! Five solid stars, per Unilocal «Wooohoo! As good as it gets!” – perfect description here!
I had a few projects around the house that needed attention, nothing that was an emergency. I had a few plumbers come out.
One took notes and said he’d call me with a quote, welp that never happened. Second guy also took notes and emailed me a quote. He bid was incomplete and everything as a stand alone: $ 110 for this. $ 500 for that, $ 225 for the other, yipes! With Randall he was already here for a major job so gave me a by the hour on the other simpler work, even down to ½ hr increments, I thought that was more than fair.
Randal came ON TIME, called once he was on the way from another job, emailed back to confirm, I mean, this guy is a true pro! He’s friendly (with out being too familiar). He’s respectful of my time and home and (yes) my budget. He bid on the work with a very fair rate.
One job in particular was going to be tricky and potentially VERY costly (I knew that from talking to the other two guys). I gave the work to him and he was meticulous with his work, and it went as good as could be expected with none of the potential pitfalls, whew that would have made the job even more complicated! He even quickly put in another shutoff valve so we wouldn’t be without water for the day.
I finally got all the work done by someone I like, respect and trust, wow, doesn’t get much better than that! I will be using him again as needed, I’m done with my search, he’s my go-​to plumber from now on yippee!

If you’re reading this review, you’re probably like me. You have a plumbing problem you don’t want to get worse, Google searches yielded too many results, and so you’re trying Unilocal,but it’s hard to tell if the reviews are truly legitimate.
My experience with Randall was like having a knowledgeable friend come over to do my plumbing. Take it from a guy who went as far as reading the histories of other Unilocaler’s reviews to make sure they weren’t shills (enjoy mine!). Without reservation, I recommend him.

Randall has been great helping us renovate our first house in Highland Park. He is very straightforward and reliable. He genuinely cares about the outcome of your project and gives good advice. When an hitch comes up, which happens when you renovate your own house for the first time, he dedicates himself to resolve the issue.

After being stood up and ripped off by other Plumbers, I found Randall here on Unilocal and called for some seriously last-​minute help (like same day seismic valve installation).
Although he couldn’t come out to complete the work, he was very straight with me, told me what the job should cost, and referred me to another awesome Plumber.
Anyone else would have tried to keep the job to themselves by whatever means necessary, but Randall really did me and his fellow Tradesman a solid.
That’s a stand-​up guy.
