History
Established in 1999.
Rain was founded by Bev Messing in August 1999, turning her soap-making
hobby into a job creation project for locals, eventually branching out into
body products. For the first six years, Rain was solely a wholesale company,
selling their products to other shops. Fifteen year later, Rain is still World Fair Trade accredited and has 12 stores in South Africa and 3 in the US.
