Rabbi Denbo was an exceptional mohel; Professional, charismatic, and sweet. During the Actual circumcision, he was calm, focused and very precise. Thankfully, the post care was much easier than we anticipated. Our son had Very little bleeding or discomfort! We couldn’t of been happier with our choice and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

Rabbi Denbo is an expert mohel. He did my son and his discomfort was mimimal and his work is great. He follows up and is easy to reach. He is great for those not so familiar with the procedure. He is very entertaining and informative. You come away with alot of understanding. He relaxes the crowd and is very cool and contemporary. He is an expert in Talmud and jewish law as well. If you are looking for some to do a circumcision then look no further.

Rabbi Denbo performed the bris on my son this past weekend. Not only did he do an amazing job on the circumcision, but the ceremony was wonderful as well. From the beginning of us contacting him he was very responsive and continued to follow up with us in regards to our son’s jaundice. He was very knowledgeable about this issue and took the appropriate steps to insure that the bris took place once the jaundice had resolved. On the day of the bris, he was very professional and courteous and was accommodating to our level of Judaism. He explained the meaning and the importance of the bris and even used a bit of humor to lighten the mood. The circumcision was quick and our baby hardly cried. There was very little blood, and we are now 4 days out and the circumcision looks great. After the ceremony, he took my husband and I in the other room and explained how to care for it, which was really simple. He stated that we could contact him at any time day or night if there was a problem, and he also followed up with us the next day to make sure things were OK. I highly recommend Rabbi Denbo and would most definitely use him again in the future. He is a skilled mohel and was very easy and enjoyable to deal with.

I met Rabbi Denbo on a trip to Israel in 2008 and immediately found him easy to talk to and very caring.
When our son was born, a friend of mine reminded me that Rabbi Denbo was a mohel, and I a very glad he did. Rabbi Denbo came up from LA to the Bay Area on Purim in order to do our son’s briss. He made us feel calm throughout the process by explaining every step in detail and giving us simple instructions during the preparation, the ceremony itself, as well as the at home care after. The ceremony itself was very touching and beautiful, and our son didn’t cry much during the procedure.
We had our first appointment with a pediatrician a week later, and the pediatrician said that the circumcision was done perfectly.

Rabbi Denbo was truly amazing! He did our son’s Bris on Thursday March 19^th and was very calming, exactly what we needed! My wife and I were both a bit nervous and Rabbi Denbo completely put us at ease. He is warm, genuine, terrific in his religious presentation and outstanding in his medical care and follow-​up afterwards. He gave us a long lesson on care and even left us with some initial supplies. He told us to call him ²⁴⁄₇ if we need him for anything at all. We could not have asked for anyone more genuinely caring and thoughtful. By the way, a great cut too! Our guests loved him and loved the service. If we are blessed with another boy, we’re calling Rabbi Denbo!

Rabbi Denbo was phenomenal! He worked with us to make our son’s bris everything we wanted. He complemented our Rabbi and was very flexible. He was efficient but never compromising his care for us and our child. I am very glad that members of our community were impressed and he is now being used by other families.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Our pediatrician has remarked a couple of times that our son’s circumcision is one of the cleanest she has ever seen.

Rabbi Denbo performed the Bris of my 2 sons and we could not have been more pleased. He was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and very skilled at the procedure. He also has a great sense of humor.

Rabbi Denbo was incredible. He was very considerate and thoughtful and explained the entire process to us. During the bris, he spoke very eloquently and explained the entire process (and significance) of bris milah to our guests, many of whom were not familiar with the process. I’ve known Rabbi Denbo for almost 10 years, and I have always known him to be a considerate and compassionate person. When my wife and I had a baby boy, Rabbi Denbo was the first and only person we thought of for our baby’s bris. Since this was our first baby, we were a little nervous, but Rabbi Denbo guided us through the entire process and helped us understand everything. Rabbi Denbo even came to our home before the bris to make sure our baby was healthy and answer any questions we had.
The bris itself was perfect. Rabbi Denbo helped us create the atmosphere we wanted, and everybody there commented on how professional and personal he was. After the bris, Rabbi Denbo helped us care for our baby and left us with plenty of materials to instructions to make sure the site stayed clean and healed quickly. Rabbi Denbo called us to check up on the baby after the bris, and made himself available 24 hours a day in case we had any questions for post-​care.
My wife and I are extremely happy with the entire experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend Rabbi Denbo to anybody looking for a mohel.

Rabbi Denbo eased my worries about the bris immediately, walking me through the entire ceremony over the phone, making sure I understood the checklist, and even visiting our boy the day before to make sure everything was okay. Rabbi Denbo was fantastic.
The prep: he walked us through everything and answered every single question with a great deal of patience.
Before the ceremony: He was very calming and made sure that we, mom and dad, were the priority. He made sure everyone knew what they needed to do quickly and easily.
The ceremony: a beautiful moment lead by a sweet heart who made sure that great grandma was honored, told all attendees the rituals and meanings such that it didnt matter if you were orthodox, conservative, reform or gentile. Everyone understood the ceremony.
The procedure: our pediatrician 7 days later said «perfect» He is surgically precise and 100% trust worthy.
After the ceremony: he took us, mom dad and baby, and explained how to clean and care for our little boy. He didnt leave until he knew that we knew.
After after the ceremony. We had a question so I texted him. Rabbi Denbo responded with a phone call and offered to come over to help us if we really needed him to. We didnt but it was so nice to know that he would come over if we felt we had an emergency.
All in all, if we have another boy, theres nobody else who we want to perform this kashrut sacred mitzvah.

Rabbi Denbo was just great. Super professional and super nice. He was available before the bris and helped us prepare to the bris on the best way.
After the impressive ceremony he managed he explained what we need to do in the next days and even called to check in a day after the bris. Lastly, he answered some questions we had right away.

I’ve literally never written a Unilocal review before, but I’m an enthusiastic Jew and was just inspired to get the word out about this mohel. Rabbi Denbo snipped our boy about a month ago and I was simply amazed at how professional and cathartic the experience was from beginning to end.
For starters, at our request he came to our home a few days before the bris to check up on our munchkin and alleviate any concerns we had, then answered all of our questions. This isn’t necessary or the norm, but we asked and he obliged.
We actually needed to perform a Sephardic service, but this was no issue at all for Debno, who is an Ashkenazi mohel. He’s seen it all and done it all. The service was emotionally satisfying, like being transported to the temple mount for an hour and half. We sang, danced, laughed and cried, but none of it served to distract R’ Denbo, who immediately took my wife and I to a back room to reviewed the after-​care procedures while the guests celebrated.
Like a military sergeant preparing his troops for war, he instructed us step-​by-​step, repeated himself, and made sure we were clear on how to move forward. With Denbo’s instructions, our baby healed up in about a week! And of course, the man called us a few days later to make sure everything was ok.
It’s worth noting that no matter where you fall on the spectrum of Jewish life and observance, Rabbi Denbo will be able to provide you with an accessible and halachically healthy ceremony. He’s relatable — and knowledgable — as one gets.
Make this man your Mohel. Your son’s penis deserves it.
