This is THE place to get a mattress! I walked in, knew what I wanted, but then was a bit confused at all of the choices. Cathie immediately made me feel at home. She talked about the pros and cons of each mattress, and steered me in the right direction for the mattress that was right for me. I ordered a bed frame from an antique store, and was concerned about which boxspring height to get, since the bed frame was not delivered yet, I had no idea. She said «No problem, I’ll have the delivery men bring both sizes, and keep the one that works best for your frame.» Cathie called me to confirm delivery, and it was a very easy delivery at that. Rueben and Mario showed up within minutes as promised, and were very careful not to bump into the walls, etc. Excellent service, thank you Mario, Rueben, and Cathie! A++!! I’ve been sleeping easy ever since!

This is the best mattress store! I bought a bed here a few years ago and I’ve sent many friends here over the years.
I returned today because I needed to replace a part on my bed frame. I was assisted immediately and the nice man opened up a box and handed me the part I needed. He didn’t even charge me! He said he was in a holiday giving spirit.

Peter is the owner and really cares about his business. Most mattress stores I’ve been to feel like used car lots and most mattress salesman are like used car salesmen. Even other stores with four or five stars.
But not Peter and RMattress.
He will give you honestly good advice on which mattress to buy. I’ve purchased from him twice now.
He genuinely loves people and his customers and you can tell!
Cathie is also very knowledgeable and helpful.
I highly recommend buying here. I went to a lot of other mattress stores, including one right across the street from work, and still drove here to deal with Peter.
But from him. You won’t be disappointed.

Kathy & Peter are awesome. I purchased my 1^st mattress from them 10 years ago & the 2^nd recently. My 2^nd time I had a bit of a unique experience & they went above & beyond the call of duty to make sure I was happy. This is a very good company who definitely puts the customer first. The only reason it has taken me this long to write this review, is because Ive been getting the best sleep of my life since I bought my mattress. Peter was the epitome of customer service, and accommodated me in every way. His selection of mattresses makes the process easy, the delivery is either the next day or within 2 days. The delivery service is inhouse, and very prompt and professional.
The mattress itself is extremely high-​quality, great price, and the most comfortable.
I highly recommend this company, and it’s owner Peter, to anyone in the LA area looking for mattresses.

We’ve had our Mlily memory foam mattress for close to a month now. We’re completely happy with the mattress. Thanks to the attentive service we received at a R Mattress, we were able to select the right bed. No high pressure sales tactics, but rather informed and friendly. Originally delivery was going to be on the monday (we purchased it on a Thursday), however Peter called us right away and was able to get it to us the very next day. The delivery guys were polite and friendly. It was important that all the legs (including the middle support legs) on the frame be on stationary footing rather than rollers. They gladly switched out the original frame and gave me the one i wanted, no problem. I’d say it was a great experience!

Honestly, I walked in and out of this place (and not in a bad way). I walked in, Peter was right there with us, he recommended the Stress-​o-​Pedic Christelle mattresses, we fell in love with the pillow-​top option almost immediately, and we got a good discount for Labor Day. Without any prompting at all, they offered to throw in the box spring, metal frame, and delivery for free. Well! I wanted to price check the mattress online before I committed, so they let me put down a $ 50 deposit to hold my special Labor Day discount (which when I got home to price check the mattress, it was right in line with what you’d spend on it anywhere else, so you know they’re being legit about the price… even if it’s cushioned in the idea of a «discount» ;-)). But for the frame, box spring, free delivery, and incredible quality of the mattress, my husband and I felt it was a very fair deal. Everyone we worked with was super nice (the lady on the phone who helped me complete my order a few days later was great, too) and we were able to schedule our delivery for whenever we wanted. The truck broke down the day it was supposed to be delivered, but everyone was apologetic and quickly worked to book another truck so they could still get me the mattress that same day. The delivery guys were great, too, they worked super quickly and set it all up, plus they helped us move our old bed to another room.
Don’t overthink it. Mattress shopping can be exhausting with all the options out there, and this crew makes it painless. Definitely recommend R Mattress!

After writing my first Unilocal review for this business I got a message from Peter, the owner, letting me know that they take customer satisfaction very seriously and that he would like to make things right with my second broken foundation and that they would even cover the delivery fee this time. I called about a week later and talked with Cathy. She was very friendly and helpful and set up everything for getting another foundation out to us. She even called the day before to find out what the old one looked like so that she could send a different brand. It was delivered this morning and so far so good. I know that no one is perfect (and certainly foundations can break) so I am happy to give businesses a chance to rectify problems, and this one definitely went tout of their way to make me happy.

Peter was very helpful, accommodating and the service was friendly.

Great store and staff. I bought a new mattress a month ago with Cathy’s help. I walked into the store with an idea in my head, and Cathy opened my eyes to the different mattress options that were better suited to my needs. I got an amazing mattress and saved $ 1000. Cathy wanted me to get what worked best for my needs and not her sales quota. Stop by, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Peter was amazing. He was patient while I tried all the different mattresses. He even looked up my bed frame to measure what height box spring would be best. I highly recommend him and his store to anyone who is looking for a mattress!

Just bought our new mattress today. I am in love with it! I can’t wait now to go to bed. Peter was so nice, helpful and honest. He has better prices than any other mattress store we visited. I would highly recommend going to him and this mattress store! We got our mattress delivered in the same day! We chose the Château Collection with a latex plush top and it is heaven!

My fiancé and I came here based on the terrific Unilocal reviews to replace our terrible, sagging, off-​brand memory foam horror of a mattress. Now, I will be honest, I bought said monstrosity on
— this was my first time coming to an actual mattress store to buy an actual ‘adult’ mattress. When I arrived at iMattress, I really didn’t know what to expect in terms of pricing, or how to avoid being suckered into buying an overly expensive mattress.
Turns out, I was worried for nothing. The salesman who helped us was extremely accommodating, listening when we told him what we wanted to spend, and showing us about 10 different mattresses that fit within our budget. We spent quite a while testing out each of the mattresses, and the salesman made us feel welcome and comfortable the whole time, answering our questions and offering suggestions without being too pushy. The particular mattress we decided on happened to be on sale, so we ended up well within our budget for both a new mattress and box spring. Plus, delivery is free (although unlike some lucky Unilocalers here, we had to wait 2 days for delivery), and they’ll even take away your old mattress for free. Five stars. Great store.

Our old mattress was only 3 years old and it was a Serta Posturepedic. It was a horrible mattress. It caused more aches and pains than working out. And it squeaked like crazy! Even when all you were doing is getting in the bed or changing sleeping positions.
I came here with my husband a year and a half ago looking for a mattress. We left the store 1. 5 hrs later with a mattress. We were absolutely happy with the purchase and could not wait to try it out. The service was the best we have ever had at any store. I shop at Nordies and this mattress shop outdid them.
Fast forward to 2013 and we still love our mattress. It still feels like new and provides much needed support for a side and back sleeper. It’s one of those beds you don’t want to get up from. Oh, and it doesn’t squeak which is very important if you reside in a apartment.
I’ve recommended this place to friends and I know we will come back soon to buy a bed for our spare room.
One of the things that made the shoppe extra special was that we were given two of those Serta counting sheeps. Each sheep had its own number and comical eyes to go with it. What other mattress store lets you have a novelty display item, like the Serta Sheep’s?

I had no idea where to start when it came to Mattress shopping, this place happens to be nearby to my apartment and also EXCELLENT reviews, so I figured I would drop by.
I’m so glad I did! Family owned, incredibly friendly. I was educated about the different brands, styles, and comforts for each mattress. Also, buy now! Because summer sale is on. The mattress I purchased was originally $ 2100 and I walked out the door paying $ 990. By far the most amazing mattress I have ever purchased and with 15 year warantee.

This will be short and sweet. It’s my birthday today and I decided to get a nice new bed. Got to Peter’s store around 4 o’clock, much later than I’d intended (mind your own business), and left at 4:15 having bought a sweet new pillow top mattress, box spring and frame. And, AND a free, IMMEDIATE delivery across town, to accommodate 7 oclock dinner reservations. Took a nap before 5! Doesn’t this guy know these things are supposed to take forever, cause a huge stress headache, and cost a fortune?
