Love this place! They have super cute cards — my sis is big into collecting greeting cards so when she came to visit from Texas she had a field day.

This place is FANTASTIC! It’s a wonderful spot for gifts of any kind to any kind of person. They also have beautiful wrapping paper, funny cards, and everything else you’ll need for whatever event you’re shopping for. The eclectic mix of objects is what makes this place unique.

I buy ALL my cards here. For every occasion. Variety and artistic uniqueness are the hallmarks of Pulp — there are no Hallmark or American Greetings cards in sight. Many blank-​inside cards so you can write your own message too.

I love this place! They are a rare breed and I wish I lived closer so I could come more often! They have an amazing selection of unique, witty, hilarious and beautiful cards for all occasions. They have an incredible selection of smart gifts as well! The people have always been more than accommodating and so so sweet. They are also pet friendly and always give my furry friend treats when I stop in.

Great little shop with high quality wrapping paper and fun novelty gift items. Check it out if you’re in the area. It’s a bit pricey, but you pay for the high quality goods.

I’m at the store as I write this. This is my GO TO GIFT SHOP in LA. For years when I want to get a great personal touch gift for someone I come to Pulp. The owner is so nice and it’s always fun to explore this special store on La Brea. Happy Holidays Pulp — You are making mine.

I LOVE this store. The customer service is amazing and the owner is incredibly helpful. There is a fantastic selection of beautiful stationary and unique cards. If I need a gift for someone that’s hard to shop for, this is where I come. They have a tasteful and lovely little section of jewelry where I can always find something I love. It’s nice to support a local store.

PULP is a fabulous store with the best selection of cards, letterpress, and stationary in Southern California. I’ve been shopping here for well over ten years. I now live in Orange County and there is no place in OC to buy good cards anymore so up to Pulp I went and was so happy to find beautiful and unique cards. They also carry a nice selection of unusual gifts. If you’re in LA or even if you’re not, if you appreciate unusual and beautiful cards, just go!

Love this store. Not only is it easy to park, so long as you’re not there during rush hour, the selection couldn’t be better for unusual cards. I used to go to Ahhhs, but for my holiday cards this year, PULP is it for its better and more diverse selection. The store is bigger than it looks and has more than cards. I found good gifts last year, too!

Pulp is the cutest shop! I use to frequent and work at a shop similar in my hometown so I was delighted to find a sister store that carries a lot of the same products and card lines. I love all of their Los Angeles themed cards and products. They’re great for those who are hard to shop for. Can’t wait to keep coming back!
Parking in rear! I parked a few blocks back in the neighborhood, I missed the small sign out front about parking.

Been living in the area for years. Just saw this place today drove by and said. wait what’s in there. should I? So I turned my car around on a leisurely Sunday evening and parked right out front (there’s parking in the back). I mosey in and WOW this place is a freaking gem! From unique greeting cards to unique must have knick knacks to great gifts (they wrap gifts for you too!) to beautiful planners to jewelry, you name it they’ve got it! They’ve managed to pack all that in to a lovely boutique setting without overwhelming you with there items. I’ll be back and back again and again. I’ve found a new go to spot. I don’t know how long they’ve been here but I hope they are hear for years to come. The holidays are just around the corner. Stop in and see for yourself.

Honestly, this stationary store is perfect for fun, unique and creative cards. I bought two cards with Star Wars prints on the front as thank you cards and messed up on one the envelopes. I came back looking to buy another one and they gave me the envelope for free. So nice.

The store has a great selection of cards, gift wrap, gifts and jewelry. I was very exited to head into the store this morning but I wanted to call first to see if dogs were allowed. I didn’t want to head over there if I couldn’t bring the pup inside so I gave them a ring.
The sales person asked if she could place me on hold. I said sure! I waited patiently for her to come back to the phone while I could hear her helping a customer inside the store. And I waited… And waited… And waited. I decided to hang up and call back… The line was busy for half an hour!!!
I decided to just go in without my dog because they were the only store in Los Angeles that received the Simplified Planners by Emily Ley. I went in and informed the saleswoman that there was something wrong with her phone and she probably still had my call on hold. She seemed confused and acted like the phone must have done something wrong rather than admitting she forgot to pick up the line again.
I understand wanting to help customers in the store first but making someone wait on hold for half an hour is just ridiculous. I would have given more stars since the place is so darn cute but points off for poor phone handling skills.

This store is absolutely as charming as it gets. I, like others, have been coming here for over 10 years now and I always find something new. The best place is you like little notebooks, charming things for the house, the best cards, candles, and wonderful gifts. If you’re in the area, please support this little business. You’ll be glad you did!

I thought I would just browse for a minute and ended up buying two cards I don’t really need, but I love. I’ll be back anytime I need to say, «I’m sorry» «I love you» «happy birthday»…(basically everyday).

I adore this store! It has cards and stationery for every occasion. They range from sweet and thoughtful to hilarious and silly. A large quantity of the cards are handmade, which makes the store unique. The small trinkets, home goods, notebooks, jewelry are all quirky and gorgeous.

I’ve been coming here for 10 years now… I used to live across the street, but I still make the trip even though I moved 10 miles away.
Easily the best card & gift shop in the city. I stock up on birthday and holiday cards any time I’m in the neighborhood, because I know I’m always going to find something new and unique. My relatives have become so used to the great cards, that now they go to visit Pulp themselves whenever they come in from out of town.
Also, a perfect spot for unique/​high-​end wrapping supplies for a special gift. If you’re giving something to someone important, it’s worth getting the paper, boxes and ribbon here.

One of my favorite places to come for one-​of-​a-​kind cards and small gifts! I have gifted and received cards and stationary from here and it’s always super special. Some cards reference current trends and pop-​culture. This is no Hallmark guys, the greeting cards here are ART! Super creative and quirky, definitely unique.

Really cute stationary and card store. I recognized some Rifle Paper Co and Sugar Paper stuff and lots of other adorable cards. This is a great shop to stop by if you’re looking for a unique & non-​Hallmark card for a special occasion. I was looking for cute bridal shower and baby shower card and found great ones here although the selection was a little low for those two categories. They had plenty of birthday and love card though. They are a little pricier but cheaper than Papyrus and more clever and charming. They also do gift wrapping here!
If you want to give someone a special card, one that they wouldn’t want to toss in the trash, come here! And there’s parking in the back!
