Clean, secure, well-​maintained facility. Managers are friendly and very helpful. We’ve been there since 2009 and are very happy.

I recently got engaged and my fiancé had to move from San Diego to La so I needed a place to store her extra stuff. Thank goodness I found this place. The Manager Christine was great, answered all my calls and emails promptly. If there’s an issue she resolves it. The facility has been always clean, well maintained and secure. The other staff are friendly and helpful as well.
Thanks again for all your help and will always store my merchandises here.

I just finished my rental term with them and I was very happy with the facility and the service.
The storage areas are clean, and in very good condition. The staff is generally helpful and has a good attitude.
I would rent from them again if I needed storage in the area.
It seems that the negative reviews are from people who don’t understand the way leases/​rental contracts work, how late fees are charged and that businesses have hours of operations. (If you don’t want late fees and want 24-​hour and/​or holiday access, perhaps you should store things in your mother’s basement.)
One thing to watch out for: If your homeowner’s or renter’s policy covers your belongings, you do not need to have Price’s insurance charged to you every month.

I’ve had a storage unit there for over 5 years now and the staff are pretty unfriendly. The only reason I keep my unit there is out convenience only.
One of the last times I went there I had one of my employees come and help me grab 4 bulky wooden chairs. As we started to walk to gate and about 10 feet away the staff member shut the gate on us as she saw us walking towards it with both our hands full and said they were closing and I had to walk to gate at other end of facility.

Used this place to store some car parts over the summer, had some good promotions

My husband and I got our first storage unit through Price this month and so far — I am impressed. It’s a very clean and well run facility. I love that your move in comes with a free truck and driver — one hour load and one hour unload at the facility. This helped us out so much! They do close at 7pm which can make planning trips during the work week tricky.
I recommend this place. The office staff is friendly and I feel the place is secure and well run.

This place is a Rip off artist.
You don’t have to be a thief to steal from people. This corporation doesn’t know how to make honest money. In stead they have found ways to rip off customers by price gouging, increasing rate every few months arbitrarily, Returning your money if it’s a few dollars short of the short notice rate increase so that they can charge you late fee, then charge you another late fee in 19 days (not thirty days) then god knows what else they have in mind next. I’m moving out soon.
It seems like they feed off of people who are busy and can’t keep up with Their stupid policy, short notices, constant rate increases. My first interaction with the unfriendly, passive, reactive and self conscious staff should have been enough warning this place sucks big time.

Not even worth 1 star! Really really rude lady. Our code to get in wasn’t working so I went in to see if she could look it up. She said she wasn’t aloud to. But she could tell me that it’s a 7 digit number and then *. I know that. After trying 3 different numbers 10 times each, I called 2 other people who have the code. They both said the same thing. One if the people I called had to call that woman to tell her to help me. She comes out and tells me that next time I should just ask her to help me. Do you not remember when o did that 5 minutes ago?!

I am giving this location a 1-​star rating for these reasons:
— I provided a written 15-​day move out notice, but was unable to sign my final paperwork due to a medical condition. Although my belongings had been moved out of the unit, I still received a bill.
–When I contacted Marcy & Christine (the managers at Price Self Storage on National Boulevard) regarding the matter above, I did not receive a response literally for weeks. When I did hear back from Christine, she demanded I come that day in order not to be charged – unfortunately people have jobs and this is not realistic or professional to expect a person to be able to drop everything with no notice.
–I feel like these people are all about getting what they can. Google Price Self Storage. There are plenty of rip-​off reports online about them.
I have since emailed a request to Christine for the contact information of the Price headquarters & hopefully it won’t take as long to get a response.
USE A DIFFERENT STORAGE! GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO PEOPLE WHO WON’T TRY TO ROB YOU.

Last year I got a deal for 50% off for 2 months storage unit rent and took advantage of the deal to store some things temporarily. The staff was friendly and helpful. The storage units themselves were clean. I felt my property was safe there. The number pad for entry/​exit into the facility was a bit finicky. Overall good experience.

Sergio assisted me yesterday with getting a storage unit. He was extremely thorough, helpful, & kind! He was the only one there & had to answer phone calls, assist me as well as other clients coming in. He was fast & knew exactly what he was doing. Thank you!!!

I just rented a 7.5×10 unit in January 2014. I found the front desk, Wendy to be helpful and courteous when I walked in off the street to say that I was looking for a unit. She showed me two sizes, and we processed the paper work easily and quickly. I arrived the next day with my moving company (Town Moving – I wrote a review for them; they are awesome), and I had no problems. The staff was still helpful and friendly to me. This is a great facility… a few blocks from my house, and its clean, well lit, and I’ve encountered nothing but good business thus far.

The most rudest service. I have been here since it opened, at one time I had 5 spaces which came almost to $ 1000 per month. Now I have two spaces and pay $ 500 per month. I wanted to downsize one of our storages to save money, and they play games not to have you move to a lesser price. There were 11 empty spaces around my storage and they kept saying that they are taken. The manager Christine Majores is verbally abusive and it’s like pulling teeth to get an answer about anything from her. God forbid you say something to her and she snaps at you. The other girl is so unfriendly and impolite as well. As you rent goes up they just get nastier. I don’t know who they think they are, we are the consumer and they have no right to treat loyal customers is such disgrace. The last manager was very nice, this woman Christine has no business being the manager.

I had nothing but an absolutely flawless experience. I love this storage facility. They let me use their moving truck for free, the customer service was great, and I never had a physical problem with the unit or my stuff.
I went with them originally because they had some great discounts online, and I’m totally pumped it worked out so well. I would definitely plan to use them again next time I need storage!

Horrible service and big ripoff. They promised to have a truck ready to move me in and then cancelled, forcing me to have to move on my own. Also they over charged me for unused time.

Their website NEVER MENTIONS that THEY provide the lock (NOT OPTIONAL) and it costs extra!!! They also REQUIRE you to buy their insurance (why? you break my stuff, I sue you… now I have to pay YOU? PS: The guy said he’s NEVER seen a claim come through either). So right there is another $ 20+ a month… and their administrative fee is DOUBLE what the place down the street gets!!! And THEN… like it couldn’t get much worse… he shows me the «5×5» unit and it’s MAYBE 4×5… nowhere NEAR 5×5!!! The guy says «well… APPROXIMATELY 5×5».
None of these things mentioned on their website (as required).
I’m filing a complaint with the Dept. of Consumer Affairs over these guys.
Understand, I was going in to RENT… my mind all but made up. I’m going to make it my life’s work to spread the story of these ripoff artists!!!
PS: I think most of the positive reviews here for Price are done by their employees!

THREE YEARS as a customer and the ability of these assholes to prove their malicious contempt of their customers still amazes!
I promised myself I’d leave the first day I got in there. Some italian guy, probably the boyfriend of the then manager was in charge of driving the truck. Long story short, late and rude would have been enough, but the drive from pickup to the storage unit took him almost an hour longer than me in a car. When the truck was opened the only way to have thrown my stuff around more was to put the truck into some mechanical inverter. Huge, bottom heavy tool cabinet tossed forward, broken picture frames, etc. The manger (Boyfriend?) then has the nerve to blame me for his driver’s lateness and how long the truck was in use!
Skip forward a couple of years and at least a half dozen managers. I frequently pay on the 10^th, but never later. This month, I ask one of the new faces if payment on the 11^th would/​could be without penalty. I’m told no penalty till the 12^th, so happy with that, I return on the 11^th to pay. Of course, the new manager ‘looks onto the computer and says a late penalty applies. I explain I was told the 12^th worked and they come up with a lame excuse about 31 days in May and failing to train the staff. How about, your employee was asked on the 10^th if paying on the 11^th would work? ! It also turns out that a rate increase is buried in there new number. «Oh, didn’t you get the notification letter?» «It was mailed on April 24^th and it hasn’t been returned» BS
There is a back and forth about how she has no power to change the charge once its in the computer. I’ve watched them play tis game before. Its in the computer and they claim they aren’t authorized to change it. Well in the middle of this mess, I leave and come back and find the manager fielding a call from someone objecting to the late charge automatically deducted from her account. The manager states that if the caller can prove this has happened before, she can credit the amount! The jig is up! All these months of these characters blaming the computer and being powerless to fix it! I only now know its actually true that the manager CAN fix an overcharge on the computer. I’ve watched the blame the computer game dozens of times when in the office. Jigs up!
I ask to speak to an area supervisor and am told ‘he’s done for the day, but you can leave a message on his number. I’m given a toll free number with a series of prompts as t which group of stores I’m calling about. I guess the complaints such a bother and that the area managers turn over so much they can’t put you thru to a live operator! I find the right one, give name, unit number and other information they request and state the problem into a voice message. Well, here it is three days later, and not a peep form the area manager. Why am I surprised?!
I’m outta this place.

I had an A++ experience at this Price Self Storage location (they have several in LA). My experience started by booking a storage unit online where you can get a much lower price than walking in off the street.
Shortly after booking, Brian, the manager, called to welcome me and confirm when I planned to move in. He was incredibly friendly and personable! Upon arriving at the storage office, Brian greeted us, shook our hands and welcomed us again. He then turned us over to his associate Terry who escorted us around, gave us some details about our options and get us set up.
Terry was *also* very friendly and professional. Case in point, there was an older man, who clearly did not have all his wits about him, who interrupted us as Terry was getting our paperwork together. Terry was very kind and patient with the older man who was spewing a little bit of nonsense, and I was impressed by that. In this day and age where many are short on patience and kindness, it was refreshing to see and hear Terry’s customer service skills in action.
Our processing went very quickly and then we were off and running to get our storage unit filled (literally). I was very impressed and would highly recommend their services.

I have limited experience with this company, but I’ve considered renting a storage space from them twice now. I’m glad I didn’t.
I called today, simply asking if they rented out their moving trucks independent from renting a storage unit. The receptionist promptly hung up, without any response. When I called back, the receptionist did not pick up – she let it go to voicemail. I left an appropriate message with the rental manager, informing him of my mistreatment. However, this is just unacceptable for any business, so I won’t be doing business with Price anytime soon.
