Precise Window Detailing

These guys came out to clean my windows and did a great job! They were also very professional. I will definitelty use them again.

Emailed to confirm my (already once rescheduled) appointment yesterday, and this was the reply:
Unfortunately due to an overwhelming response, we head [SIC] to shut down
residential. My company has lost so much money with your voucher issuer
taking 50% of my profits. I will not be able to accept anymore vouchers
until Nov. Dec. I can still honor your voucher at that time, and if it
works for you. If not, I do suggest calling and getting a refund. I do
apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
I’m sorry that this guy made such bad business decisions. But I notice that Precise Window Detailing is today (⁸⁄₁₉) offering another discount deal on Unilocal.What the heck? That’s just deceitful.

I do not want to waste any more of my time on this UNPROFESSIONAL company but I do not want anybody to go through what I have!!!
1) I purchased a Living Social Voucher — $ 65 — on March 5, 2012 for Precise Window Detailing
2) I called Precise Window Detailing to schedule it in mid June and when I told her it was purchased from LivingSocial, she hung up on me. twice!!!
3) I emailed LivingSocial and explained the situation
4) LivingSocial must have been contacted them because they finally contacted me — almost a week later.
5) I was scheduded for the first available appt., Saturday, July 28^th between 4 – 5 and they would call the day before to confirm. I received an email confirming the appt.
6) On July 27^th I did not receive a phone call so I called and left a message confirming my appt.- on a number I had been given: 310−846−8737
7) I received a call back from «Shawnanique» (?) saying the appt was confirmed but they wanted to come between 2:00 — 3:00 on Saturday, July 28^th instead of 4:00−5:00
8) THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I had to wait all afternoon!!!
9) I called three times, no one answered, I have still not heard back
10) I called Living Social and they, professionally, refunded the $ 65.
DO NOT USE this company — you will regret it!!!

Bought a Groupon in May; scheduled appointment early June for August. Never showed up. I tried calling the company. Both phone numbers were «temporarily unavailable»!!! WTF!!!

Do NOT use this company! Like most others, I purchased a Groupon and the company never showed up. The customer service dept (aka Shameka) rescheduled twice, first to change the time, second to change the day just a few hours before my appointment. Now, it’s go time again, but they didn’t show up. I called the customer service number, both local and 866 number and both are «temporarily unavailable». Combined with other Unilocal reviews, I’m convinced that this company is a scam. I’ve contacted Groupon to get my money back.

I purchased an AmazonLocal voucher for window cleaning by Precise Window Detailing. I was required to schedule my appointment months out and received a detailed confirmation of my appointment via email. Then on my appointment date I stayed home from work, had people help move furniture away from the windows, and waited patiently for the guys to arrive as scheduled They never showed up, never answered phones, never returned voicemail nor responded to my email. I am not interested to do business with this company. I am now months behind and have dirty windows.

OMG. I should have listened to all the reviews! And the only good review was super lucky! The booking wasn’t as bad as having someone say they’re going to show up and then you get punked.
I had to make a reservation 2 months ahead and since I read the reviews– I emailed Precise Window Detailing a few days before to confirm my appointment. The customer service rep Shameka called me back the day after confirming my appointment… perfect. AND btw I think the customer service dept is all but Shameka. So if you don’t get a call back…, just assume it’s because she’s busy putting out fires elsewhere… or doesn’t want to deal with your complaints.
Well here comes today, when my appointment was suppose to come between 12pm-​1pm and no one is at my house. I called and left a message for Shameka with no response. 3 hours after the appointment, 4 voice messages, and 1 email later… no one. WOW. How can a business operate like this? I don’t think I would be as upset if someone would call me to let me know «hey you don’t need to waste your whole saturday waiting for somebody because noone is going to come!» but I guess they really don’t care much about anything. Do you think it’s because I have a groupon? Who knows. I’m going to call Groupon to get my money back.
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE! It’s not worth it even with a coupon because you can’t rely that they’ll come!
Unilocal friends– I should have listened to your reviews! I guess if the price is too good to be true… it’s because it is.

I found them through a Groupon voucher and decided to give them a try. I called them and asked SPECIFICALLY if they came to my area, and the scheduler said yes and proceed to schedule my appointment 2 months out! The day before my scheduled appt, they called and cancelled the job, claiming that they don’t come to my area. They should have honored their commitment, despite their employee’s error. Very unprofessional and complete disregard for my time.

Yes, I had to wait longer than expected to finally have these guys show up but when they did, it was worth the wait. My windows really look fabulous. Two guys were here for several hours and cleaned 25 windows inside & out including the screens. They were professional and did very good work.
All the negatives in Unilocal seem to be related to the bookings, etc. but once the guys show up… you“ll be happy. Also, I liked that they didn’t push to sell me «extras» They mentioned it, I declined, end of story~ didn’t mention it again.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer relations and service. I do NOT recommend this company at all! I bought a window cleaning voucher from AmazonLocal deals — 20 windows for $ 49. I called and spoke to the owner to ask if there were size restrictions for windows since several of my windows are picture windows, but was told that a large picture window would still count as one window. When I made the appointment itself, I confirmed with the scheduler the window size issue and was again told that size of window was not an issue as pricing was more a per pane issue.
Just to schedule an appointment took 2 months from the time of my call. They switched my time of appointment 3 times on the day of the appointment and finally showed up at 6:00p.m. when they were suppose to be here at 2:30.
Once they got here, they wanted to count my big picture window as «12» windows, along with saying that other windows would count as more than one window also. I asked to speak to the owner. Even after I told the owner, how two of his company’s people, including the other co-​owners, told me there was no size restriction or overage charges for large windows. He argued with me, but admitted that they had not been clear in their voucher description. However, he agreed that after their field supervisor gave me a window count, then we could talk again and negotiate. When I told the supervisor to call the owner again, the field supervisor told me that the owner said to just tell me that Amazon would give me a refund and that they were leaving. I asked him to call the owner again, but the supervisor said the owner was not answering his phone. They jumped into their truck and drove away saying to contact Amazon for a refund.
Needless to say, after waiting 2 months for the appointment then all day for them to show up, they never even did the work! They were extremely nasty in their attitude besides! Luckily Amazon gave me a refund.
Don’t use this company! The deal is not worth the hassle and poor attitude!

BUYER BEWARE
Seems like I had a similar experience as some of the others who have written reviews. In a nutshell they didn’t show up for their appointment.
Details: After buying a LivingSocial voucher, I could only book an appt two months out. After booking the appt, I was called a few weeks prior to the appt asking if I wouldn’t mind moving my start time up an hour to which I obliged. I then received a voicemail the day before my appt (after receiving an email confirmation of the date and time) with some guy asking if I could move my appt yet again up a few hours from 2pm to 11am. I was taking the time off of work and on a Friday could justify a 2pm start rather than 11am. I tried not only calling back the number from the guy who called but also attempted to reach someone in person at their business number to let them know we had to keep the confirmed time. I ended up leaving a message at both places letting them know I could not move the time again and that I was expecting to see them at 2pm. I asked them to call me if that was a problem.
Guess what happened next???
So here I am three days later, a couple more voicemails into their office and an email and no reply.
I see above they are offering a deal via Unilocal and question the fact that why they would continue to offer these deals if they don’t have the manpower to take care of the appts they do make. Asked to move the appt twice for getting my windows washed, C’mon man this isn’t rocket science.
I’ve asked for a refund and have been forced now to write a negative review, sucks…
Wonder if i’ll ever get contacted by the company. Bueller? Bueller?

After waiting for 3 months for an appointment the time was changed the day before from an earlier time to a few hours later. I accepted the change. Then the day of, I get a call that they’re running early and would be at my house in 20 minutes, three hours before they were scheduled to arrive. The guys stated that their vacuums broke and had not been replaced, so they were just blowing the dirt and dust from the tracks into the air leaving more of a mess for me to clean than was there to begin with. I too wasn’t told that the sliding glass doors were extra. I agreed to an extra charge to do all of the windows after I first said only do these 25 panes. Only to realize the next day they hadn’t cleaned any of the extra’s they charged me for. They did an O.K. job on the windows they did clean, which is why they’re getting two stars instead of one.

Precise Window Detailing is one of the most careless companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Horrible customer service. I bought an Amazon voucher in October and then called the vendor in May. They gave me an appointment for June 26. Not great but I understand that summer is a very busy time. Last week, I called to change my appointment. I left word twice last week and then called and emailed. I have not heard one word back from them. Not ONE! What a crappy way to run a business. I called Amazon yesterday, made my complaint and cancelled my voucher. The only reason I gave one star is because the first time I called to make my appointment, I was treated nicely. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Ever.

These guys get two stars instead of one, simply because the CEO was very apologetic and articulate in his emails.
I bought a voucher on Amazon Local. We then spent three weeks calling and leaving messages, only to never get a call back. I finally filled out a contact form on their web site with some pretty strong language. The CEO wrote me back directly, apologized, and assured me they wanted my business.
It still took a few days to get a call.
When I finally got on the phone with someone from Precise, she informed me that they don’t take jobs on weekends and could not schedule me for a Friday, no matter how far into the future. They were inflexible and I was unwilling to take a vacation day from work to stay home and have my windows cleaned. They hadn’t exactly filled me with confidence to begin with.
So I got a refund from Amazon Local and my windows are still dirty.

I called to confirm my appt in the morning and it was confirmed… I took off the afternoon from work to be home for their service… They have my cell phone number and actually have called me a few times before… but do they call to cancel my appt NO what they do is email my work address at the time of the actual appt. (again I am at home) to cancel. Their mainline phone says mailbox full and you have to leave a message with customer service. Then I email them back to say that you did NOT try to contact me of this change and then I received no response from my email. but when I do get their Cust Service they are not helpful at setting another appt anytime soon. They are more worried about the upcoming clients instead of the one they just pissed off. Not a way to run a business!

I used the special $ 65 for 20 windows and although I live in a small apartment with only ten windows, it was well worth it. They did a fantastic job and I had no idea it would make such a difference. It was a delight to wake up this morning to the clear, bright sunlight streaming through my windows.
Unlike another reviewer’s experience, they were very thorough washing every window, track, and screen. Jaeson and Jimmy were a great team.

I had bought a half price deal for this company and even at the «deal» price of $ 65, it was NOT worth the money. They advertised «window, track, and screen cleaning for UP TO 25 WINDOWS». I live in a small 2-​bedroom condo and only needed 8 panes of glass cleaned and I felt that $ 65 was an okay deal as my regular company charges me $ 75. When I called the day before to confirm our appointment, the man tells me that whoever took the appointment originally should have told me that a sliding glass door (one of the 8 panes I mentioned above) is NOT a window and that they have to charge extra for that! Are you kidding me??? I supposedly am getting up to 25 windows cleaned and I only need 8 and you are telling me that you can’t clean one of them without charging me extra? Since I obviously was not happy about that, the man proceeds to tell me that technically the outside and the inside of each window would be TWO so they are cleaning more than 7 windows. Again I say, Are you kidding me??? So I agree to pay the extra $ 11 bucks for the sliding glass door which brings me up to $ 76 which now puts it higher than my regular company so this has turned out to be NO DEAL at all now!
After the two man crew finished and left, I noticed they didn’t even bother cleaning the track or screen door of the sliding glass door which I paid the extra $ 11 for! Guess that would be an additional charge for each of those items!
What a waste of my time and money! This company can’t hold a candle to my regular company, Fish Window Cleaning, even if I had actually got a «deal» it would not have been worth it for the quality of work.
Very misleading and deceptive company in my opinion.

Ray and his team did an awesome job cleaning our windows. We have a1921 CA. bungalow and some windows are original. They pointed out the degradation on some and the work on them exceeded our expectations. Our windows sparkle!
They were on time, friendly and professional. Calls confirming our appt. were made the day before and day of. We would use them again and have already recommended Precise Window detailing to a friend.

Since this was the first time I’d had new windows were professionally cleaned. I found precise window detailing thru a coupon;they did wash windows and screens and in general did a very good job charging me more for my over 25 windows. be aware1 window counts for 2 since it has 2 panes. they actually scratched my new window and stated it was there. the screen pooped out as well. i could not confirm them coming on the day and they most of the time do not have anyone answer the phone, but will call you back always. so over all i did not feel TLC.

they were quick and efficient, perhaps too much so, because by the time they’d left, I realized they had actually cleaned only HALF Of the 20 the coupon was
good for-​which left me feeling more than a little annoyed. I don’t know whether they counted second floor windows as being ‘more’ and I’m not sure what
it would take to get them to clean the very small panes which do lie above many of my old fashioned windows. I did tell them not to worry about those.
Maybe they found my décor or the amount of windows that needed to be clean to be a bit overwhelming or perhaps they were just put off or maybe I
don’t know how to count. What they did do they did well, and while I hate to ‘complain’ …
