I have always been nervous and skeptical when it came to buying a new car and most especially dealing with a car salesman. So I put this off for a while, and then a friend from work referred me to this place after a good experience. She specifically said to ask for Bahman Afshin and I cannot thank her enough for this. From the moment I called him I knew I was in good hands, he wasn’t pushy and answered all my questions even the ridiculous ones lol. I came in to look at the car and was guaranteed by Victor that they would work to get me the best deal they could and they came through.
The whole process was seamless but the most kudos has to go to Bahman. Such a friendly, knowledgable and personable person. He gives you this warm and fuzzy feeling to ease the pain of buying such an expensive car, what an experience. If you are considering buying a Porsche this is the place to go to, I consider myself tough but they sure wowed me.

Can not say enough about the service department, and in particular Service Manager Vicki Carbone. Vicki went out of her way to respond to emails prior to service, and completed a major service and alignment in one day. The attention to detail, and cleanliness of my 911 was excellent.
Loyalty in the automotive business is everything, and I can see no reason to go elsewhere for service, unless an emergency arises. BTW, I drove 1.5 hours to have this service performed, and will do so again.

Had a «minimum oil level reached» message in my way to work today (in a rainstorm nonetheless) and navigated my way into this relatively new facility. I was immediately greeted and given coffee while my late model Carrera was moved to the front of the line. I got my car back before my coffee was cold and was in my way without cost or time lost. 12-​min flat; now that’s service. Love this brand & am most impressed with this dealer. A month ago I was in LA for a Bachelorette Weekend and with some hours to kill before heading to the airport, I decided to stopped by a Porsche of Downtown LA since it wasn’t very far from my hotel. I live in Texas and wanted to show my girlfriends the 2016 Macan S, which I was planning to purchase at a dealership back in Austin. We were greeted immediately by the staff whom were all very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They weren’t at all aggressive or pushy on expecting a purchase.
Elvis Baldal even took the time to show me all the high-​tech functions the car had to offer. I don’t know if it was Elvis’ sales savvy or the aroma of the new car smell, but next thing I know I’m signing papers with Lauren Castanos, a Finance Manager who helped me with the entire purchase. I had concerns buying a car out of state, but she walked me through the entire process; she made me aware of taxes, shipping information, etc, so there were no unexpected financial surprises. About a week later, «Marni the Macan» was delivered to my driveway and she’s more gorgeous than I remembered. This was my first time purchasing a car on my own and I appreciate the staff, especially Lauren and Elvis for making it such a seamless car buying experience.

Don’t ever buy a battery from this place! My battery went out in less then a year and they refuse to replace it! They never told me that their battery didn’t have any warranty? Really this is Porsche product? That’s how they back up their Name?? Wow! Very Disappointed! Especially after buying A sixty thousand dollar car!!!

I’ve read other reviews on Downtown LA Porsche and I must say that I’ve been treated with the upmost respect and courtesy. Bahman Afshin is by far one of the best salespeople I’ve ever dealt with.
He’s knowledgeable, kind and understanding, definitely check him out if you’re in the market for a Porsche or one of their other used cars.

I agree with a of the positive reviews regarding RAMBO. He is the best service representative I have ever worked with at ANY car dealership. He is prompt, respectful, friendly and gets whatever you need done ASAP.

Rambo, Rambo, Rambo!!! This review is late! But the quality of service I received still feels like yesterday. Vicki and Rambo went above the service and I can’t thank them enough. I bought a Porsche from a private dealer in San Diego in June. Everything came back perfect and the engine seemed to be running like a beauty.
Until that one day, I turned on the engine on my way home from work and the engine sound like their were 3 Wrenches in it with a heavy, Click Clank Noise.
I thought I was in my worst nightmare. I realized at that moment that a 60,000 car was sold to me as a lemon. Thank goodness I bought an extended warranty. (so I thought)! After waiting for almost 3 Hours to get my car towed from an outside company, I arrived frustrated, upset and mentally fu**ed.
That’s when I met Rambo. He listened asked specific question and reminded me that he was going to do his very best to get to the bottom of it. Rambo called me everyday with updates, information and reassurance. He also called me with the worst news any porsche owner ever wants to hear. My engine was no good. My Extended warranty was not going to cover the damages and it was $ 20k-​$ 25k repair. I almost lost it on the phone and Rambo was sincerely apologetic and said he would do what he could to see if he could make something happen.
Two days later Rambo called me with news that brought me to my knees. He told me that after digging deep and hard, Vicki (Service Manager) and him had gone straight the the manufacture pleaded their case that I was a new porsche owner and my car was a lemon.
Rambo said to me on the phone. His exact words: «Jared, I’m just the messenger. Porsche has agreed to pay for a Brand New Engine for you and they were going to cover the cost. Shocked, ladies and gentlemen I was a shocked. Not only did I get a brand new engine, but Rambo got me a rental car and I didn’t pay a dime!!! You can call it a blessing or just Genuine High Quality Customer Service. I deeply feel that Rambo went above and beyond and he didn’t have to do what he did. Vicki extended the same love!
Guys I’m still excited as I write this and it givese chills knowing that without the Rambo and Vicki team, I would be out of a car and bit broken.
Ask for Rambo! If you need anything, you are truly in good hands. Rambo is the man. Rambo Thank You my Friend. you made my Year brother! God Bless you!

I bought a 911s Carrera, my brother bought a Panamera Turbo, and we even introduced our friend that bought a 911s Carrera convertible from this dealership.
After all that, they have treated us like some rag dolls. The service department is so horrible that I sold my car just so that I don’t have to deal with them.
When Ana was there the service department was pretty decent, but they changed up their staff with young incompetent people that don’t know anything about customer service.
I have also read some reviews about the manager (VICKY) not being a good representative for the Porsche brand; I couldn’t agree more.
There are certain standards for service, especially if you’re spending on average over 100k per car. This all stems down from the manager (VICKY).
You spend all this money, buy additional warranty, refer your friends to get treated like a second class citizen. Feel free to message me for details.

I bought my car here years ago and thought the sales experience was above average but this review is for the service department. I’ve been all around California and taken my 911 to several different dealerships and independent service shops and this one is by far the best and most professional. I recently got a quote from a nearby dealership that stated my sunroof would cost a few grand to fix because they were going to have to «tear everything apart and put it back together» etc etc. I end up taking my car here and to my surprise, it was simply a sunroof motor issue and only costed a fraction of what other places quoted me. Thanks for the honesty and for being knowledgable. It’s a breath of fresh air. I will continue to come back and if I need a new ride, you’ll be the first to know.

My first Porsche… and what a dream it has been. The service here is fantastic! I specifically dealt with Eugene and Victor. Eugene is a real car enthusiast, and delivered a good balance or knowledge & outstanding customer service. From the test drive, to the decision process, to the negotiating stages, to the paperwork signing, to the coordinating of the delivery– it was all a first class service experience. Victor is an outstanding manager, and honored everything he gave me his word on. The combination of dealing with them, and the fine craftsmanship on a Porsche, made this a great experience. I cant stop raving about the entire process. They made me feel as if I was purchasing a vehicle from family, not just a dealership. Keep up the great work! I look forward to seeing them again soon!

WOW. Incredible store. I got my baby here. My baby only deserve the best ., cuz she a bawz. Only the best yummiest oil and the gentle touch of the best technicians can make my baby purr like sweet music. Irwin and Vicky are always legit .
Dude they have so much stuff to eat it’s ridiculous. I am getting fat by just coming here. Smelling those delicious mouth watering cookies is just one of the delectable choices DTLA porsche has to offer. They also have these fancy Fuji apples. They have these pretty girls wrap them so they taste even better :):). Shout out to my girls Vanessa and Jenifer !
Plus it’s a brand new showroom that smells like new car of course. And man it’s like masterpiece. Even Leonardo da Vinci couldn’t make something more magnifique .
I had best experience buying my car here from Allen, victor, and Keni. And gene is cool too ! They all cool peeps. I got some cray deal on brand new cayman. Plus I’m saving up so I can upgrade to a 911 turbo. Then I’ll be pimpin. But until then I know they got my back.

Worst car shopping experience thanks to this dealership, if you are looking for a Porsche do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They sales staff treat you with no respect and the front desk worker is too busy playing with her phone. They do not care about their customers, all they care about is making a sale

I’ve been bringing my beloved 2006 Boxster to Porsche of DTLA for service for the past 9 years. My assessment: The service team, headed by service manager Vicki Carbone, is stellar, and works as a «team» in every sense of the word. Case in point:
Earlier this week I was returning home from a vacation along the Central Coast, and pulled off the 101 in Camarillo to refuel. As I rolled to a stop at a streetlight, I heard a horrendously loud squealing sound. Not a mere squeak or rattle, but an endless, cycling 90dB+ shriek that sounded like a broken fan belt from Hades. Now, mind you, I have FAITHFULLY ponied up for every recommended service on my Boxster from the day I bought it in 2005; so that Death Squeal couldn’t be ME … right? I silently side-​eyed the driver of the aging pickup next to me; «Dude! Fix your car.»
Alas, to my alarm, it WAS my Boxster. The horror stopped as soon as I turned off the engine; I refueled, debating what to do next, while an impatient fellow honked for me to pull away from the pump. Turning the engine over, I fully expected the caterwauling to resume, but … grrrrrrr. Just the normal throaty rumble of my Boxster’s engine.
Being one of those safe-​over-​sorry types, I pulled to a secure location and called Porsche-​DTLA service from my cell phone. I was immediately transferred to Vicki, who in a matter of moments diagnosed the problem as a faulty oil separator. Given that no engine lights had come on and the car’s temperature gage was rock steady, I opted to press on to LA, and got as far as Santa Monica before the banshee wail recurred.
Although it was well after 7PM, I had my Boxster towed the rest of the way to Porsche of DTLA. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the reception desk by a friendly, smart young woman named Shannon, and her colleague, an equally-​friendly young man. Within a matter of moments, my vehicle was processed for repair, and although it was WAAAY after hours, the young man gave me a lift to a Metro station along with his «TAP» card so I could get home (the much less charming AAA tow truck driver refused my credit card and cleaned me out of cash).
Early the following morning, I received a call from Porsche-​DTLA service rep Rambo Jennings, who was courteous, professional, and on point with every aspect of ensuring my Boxster would be successfully repaired. Rambo made it clear that Fritz, the superb mechanic who has serviced my car from day one, wanted to be thorough, so Rambo and Vicki provided me with a spotless, brand-​spanking new loaner Cayenne. Thankfully, my Boxster was ready the next day, and Fritz himself apprised me of the details of the repair.
I love my Boxster – Porsche of DTLA gets that. All told, on this unanticipated journey, I dealt personally with five members of their team; and to the man/​woman, every one provided exemplary service. At a time in American culture when mediocrity is the new good, it’s refreshing – and frankly, a relief – to experience this kind of excellence. I would not hesitate to recommend Porsche of DTLA to other Porsche owners.

I brought in my CPO 911 to have several issues evaluated. Something is off in the shifting linkage. The airbag light was on. Cooling fan is coming on and staying on what seems excessive, and a small nail in a tire.
Of these, only one, possibly two of the issues were addressed. The airbag light issue was resolved. They said they found nothing with the cooling fan– Ok. They said they found nothing wrong with the shifter– however it is still off and quite noticeable to me. They offered to replace the tire for $ 500+, when all I wanted them to do was remove the nail and determine if it is leaking. They didn’t even look at the tire, just offered to sell me a new one– even though the tire has only 5k miles on it.
On a good note, they did provide me a loaner vehicle– a diesel Cayenne. However, on returning the Cayenne there was a tiny screw found in one of the tires. Rather than patching the tire– a $ 20 procedure– they insisted on charging me $ 302 to replace the brand new tire. I offered to have the tire repaired myself and they refused. They instead chose to gouge me, a customer, who also purchased this nearly $ 100k car at the same dealer. I spoke to the Service manager, Vicky, who had an attitude of clearly not giving a damn about customer service.
I will not be returning to Porsche of Downtown LA for further service needs nor for my next vehicle purchase thanks to this very poor service experience. This sort of treatment is not what I expect from Porsche.

Realistically the review is a 4.5 or so, but rounding up be fair. I dealt with Irwin Merida here at Porsche of Downtown Los Angeles once Beverly Hills Porsche gave me the experience of my life, and not in a good way. The first person I spoke with, a woman, was a bit blunt and not very friendly or helpful. But then Irwin Merida took over, and immediately I could tell that something was different. He was straightforward, friendly, and most importantly, honest. He told me what he would and could do, what he couldn’t do, what my options were, and what he expected the situation to be like. A day later I get a call from him and all my concerns were taken care of. The only negative was that I had a oil change done at the same time and the technician overfilled my oil. But putting aside the technician’s one small mix-​up, Irwin Merida and the service department here was A+, and my warranty work was taken care of in a reasonable and timely manner, and performed properly.
I also recently placed an order for some parts that are hard to find. Their parts department was able to track down and locate the parts that I needed, and have placed everything on order. Their prices were lower than not only other dealerships, but my indy shop as well. Amazing! All in all, this dealership is highly recommended for parts and service!

I would buy a Porsche from this dealership just to go to their service department. It is by far and without question the BEST service department of any dealership for any car brand I’ve ever been (this includes Honda, Toyota, Acura, BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Lexus). Viki Carbone, the service manager, is completely honest and scrupulous to a fault. Ana Pacheco is also fantastic. There is absolutely no comparison between this service department and that at ANY of the other Porsche dealerships in the area. For the dealership on a whole, I’ve found their sales staff to be fair and trustworthy. The newly renovated floorspace is awesome!

I brought in for service my 2014 Cayenne Diesel Platinum edition last week and Ana Pacheco was very professional and detail oriented.
She also gave to me a brand new Porsche Panamera as courtesy car for the 4 days period that my car had to stay at their garage.
My Cayenne was having an annoying pressure issue with its 21″ rear wheel. Luckily I had an insurance coverage specifically for this kind of problems from the moment I purchased the car last May. I was hesitant back then about buying a $ 2500 insurance coverage for a five years period, but now I’m happy that I followed the suggestion that Victor, the Porsche of downtown LA manager gave me when I got the car. Overall, all the times I dealt with Porsche of Downtown LA personnel in sales and in service I had a very positive experience.

Absolute pleasure to buy from this dealership. Was turned off by Mc Kennas Porsche sales person and called DTLAP same day and spoke to Gene Miu there and was greeted there by her, we test drove a 2015 Cayenne S and a 2015 Macan Turbo and loved them both but the Macan won in the end thanks to my insistence. Picked up the car on Thanksgiving morning all gassed up and detailed. Got a great deal and above all Gene and her manager Keni Huang’s customer skills are well above everybody else’s.Will return here for future Porsche purchases. Very painless buying experience.
