Anytime I feel the need for a vintage style I come in here. They just are it ! My fav are the vintage bags, sunglasses and earrings Love it !

Popkiller should be renamed «Buzzkiller» after you’ve experienced their atrocious customer service.
It’s one thing for the store clerks to be as pretentiously rude as some of their Hipster customers… but to down right JUMP on people from stealing (when they’re not) can make this place lose it’s novelty fade faster than the colors of their vintage clothing.
All the over hyped over priced knick knacks, are really not worth all the hassle. Might as well just go to Spencers and call it a day.
Seriously.

Pop pop, you’ve just been killed by cuteness. Popkiller is a really quirky shop that carries a bunch of fun novelty gifts plus clothing (some of which is vintage). It’s one of those places where you can just go and browse for a while because the items are so funny and unique… think a ski mask that has a shark mouth around where your eyes are, or an inflatable deer head for your wall. For the holidays, they have a rack dedicated to ugly xmas sweaters, and they are the most hip ugly sweaters I have ever seen! They will run you a pretty penny, but you do save the time and energy it takes to strong arm through smelly thrift store racks.
They were having a buy 1 get one 50% off sale on sunglasses, and I was sorely tempted to buy a pair of Kaleidoscope prism glasses (totally useless if you want to see where you’re going, but so cool for raves) as my second pair but I resisted. Just in case you’re interested though, they’re $ 14, which is a far better deal than other stores selling them for $ 30. I did, however, purchase some cute metal framed sunglasses that will make me vaguely resemble a cat ($ 13).
It doesn’t hurt that it’s already in a very walkable area right next to the Little Tokyo mall. There are a bunch of shops and food places in the close vicinity, so why not stop by? Rad shop for cool kids only!

I love their vintage section, they carry a variety of sizes at a decent price. I got a one of a kind maxi dress from the 70s for $ 28 when I could of visited a shop downtown and bought it for $ 150 … GO HERE!!! Super cute place next to a lot of places to eat and hang

I doubt it… but does anyone remember the John Smith Novelty catalogs? The small catalogs with literally thousands of strange items from whoopee cushions, magic tricks, small safes, coin «slide separators» and of course the infamous «Sea Monkeys?» Well this is the Japanese storefront version of the cool catalog !!! They have everything from T-​shirts, vintage clothing, patches, toys, novelties, posters, pins, purses, shoes, as well as penis pasta. Everything with a Japanese or cool novelty twist! I love this store as its sensory overload as you walk in. They have many unique Japanese items and a few items that they make themselves. Gotta stop by if your in Little Tokyo. They also have another shop around the corner selling similar items, but mostly vintage clothing.

I came in here after dinner just wanting to «look» and «window shop».
They have shoes on sale for 50% off and could NOT resist. I was immediately drawn to these wedges, but literally did not fall in love love with them.
I ended up trying on these kick ass beautiful gorgeous boots. They are suede and at 50% off, my golly, they made my legs look ravishingly stunning. They came up to less than $ 20 — -what a BARGAIN — I am scared even to admit this in my review because I fear prices may change after I write this.
I also got this cute bunny headband that makes me look super sexy.
I got a few pair of sunglasses, to look trendy and chic. I could not help it, but their sunglasses are cool and I love accessories.
Finally, I got a ring for $ 10.
My grand total was pricey at $ 70, when I had NO intention of buying anything.
$ 18 for the boots, $ 25 for 3 pairs of glasses, $ 10 for the ring, $ 10 for the headband all added up to $ 70 with the taxes.
Relatively, these items are cheap. I feel like they were reasonable because of the amount of «stuff» that I bought.
True, these «stuff» aren’t necessities, but I love how dolled up I look. I tend to be a shopaholic, so this definitely satisfied my craving to look better. I am especially in love with my 50% off boots. Where else can a hottie find that price for vintage boots? With the right tights and a killer skirt, I am sure to show off my killer legs.

Walked into to store with my 2 year old daughter to look around. Sell small toys and t shirts. Saw water dispenser and the wonderful Clark front said «water is for employees only «really? Water. ??? Will never come back again. Common customer service is not hard.

I was surprised how small this store was. There is a Big Mirror that makes it feel bigger but they had to put a sign there since apparently people were walking into the mirror… Anyways onto the review.
The music playing was very odd sounded like Bikini Kill, my boyfriend loved it and got the artists name from the cashier who was very nice.
It was a little pricey for my taste but then again vintage clothes aren’t suppose to be cheap. I did enjoy they gag gift area though. I saw gifts that I haven’t seen before. I ended up buying a beanie and a bandana. The beanie was on sale since it was «winter clearance». I would come back for the gifts but not the clothes as much.

Pretty cool place to check out. It was too expensive for me that’s why I’m giving it a 3 star rating but they have some accessories and clothing you don’t see everywhere so if your looking for something unique you should check it out. There’s a lot of street parking too!

Too, too cool! Did you know that finding a tacky holiday sweater on consignment is getting well-​nigh impossible? I think I know why: they are all here. A full rack of the tackiest sweaters imaginable, somewhat over-​priced at $ 20 and up, but what’re ya gonna do? The cashier was sweet and helpful, and had no problem taking a sweater off the mannequin for me to try. I ended up with a beaut – in the most hideous sense of the word. Going for the prize in that tacky sweater contest!

Its so cute! its a cute small shop with vintage clothing used and new they have jackets, ugly xmas sweaters, glasses, and jewelry. everyone needs to check it out! they have an outside rack with vintage dresses and tops, the highest price is 20 bucks!

Cooler than ice cold. I wandered in and scored a rad pair of heart shaped sunglasses and a gangster panda phone case.
I can find a gift here for practically anybody. Coming back for the boob and penis shaped pastas.

You know I’ve always loved this place but last night I got penalized because the cashier made a mistake.
She charged me twice for the same item. I caught the mistake immediately. But she was unable to refund me even though it was clearly her mistake. Instead I was forced to purchase an additional item I didn’t want or forfeit the money I was overcharged for.
I understand if you have a no refund policy. But that shouldn’t apply when it’s YOUR MISTAKE.

Do you like a lot of fun crazy crap? Then this is the place for you! It’s a cool little store to visit if you happen to be in the Japanese Village Plaza in Lil Tokyo. This is where I got my tin of emergency googly eyes, and boy, not a moment too soon – who knew there could be so many googly eyes-​related emergencies? They also have a selection of vintage clothes that’s fun to browser through. The operative word here is definitely fun!

This place is okay — just another hipster thrift shop and other unique items such as cooking wear, iPhone cases, jewelry, and accessories.
However I don’t think there is anything special about this store. I also noticed that everyone that was there just browsed and left empty handed. I didn’t purchase anything as well.
Probably won’t be back!

Pop! Pop! You just got caught-​up in a Spencer’s-esque store with a Japanese twist!
You’ll find all kinds of random stuff here, from graphic tees to gangsta gun sunglasses. I couldn’t resist & had to try on all of their crazy sunglasses & yes I took pix & no I will not post lol…
I couldn’t get passed the mustache pacifier for babies (or ravers), depending on where you are in life. I’m too far past my rave days & somewhat approaching my baby-​making days, but not quite there sooooo I’ll just set this novelty down and move on to the next.
Loved the Bourgeoise graphic tee! Yeah you can call me a little bourgeois sometimes, but I blame a lot of that on Unilocal.If it weren’t for Unilocal,I wouldn’t have known better right? …I’m not a hater, I just Unilocal a lot!

Popkiller Second is one those stores that you want to visit when swashbuckling in Little Tokyo. It’s a Japanese owned and themed vintage style clothing store that also carries hats, toys, sunglasses, accessories, shoes, and records. Based out of the City of Angels since 2003, they have the luxury of working with innovative designers and local artists that create witty, one of a kind items. Custom orders are available as well.
There are 3 other locations in LA & OC — Los Feliz, Hollywood, Costa Mesa.
They got some cool gear, such as t-​shirts, apparel for the kids and babies, bags, smart phone cases, pins, stickers, greeting cards, etc. «The Show Goes On» — Lupe Fiasco. I like to think of it as Spencer’s Gifts on crack. Funky and random items that are just unique in nature. Check out the Bacon Wallet that I found. Quoting Kent D. — «Love, Peace and Bacon Grease!»
Saw a t-​shirt that said «Japans Sells Beer To Kids.» I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this was true. LOL. You know you just haven’t tried pasta till you had some Penis Pasta. Trendy items at fair prices and their stuff is way cool, so stop by sometime and check it out.

Hipster-​ish kind of store. Lot’s of trendy novelties and apparel. It’s a bit over priced, in my opinion, but at least all the clothing there is their brand.
We got 3 shirts because the 3^rd was 50% off, which would have been a good deal if the shirts weren’t $ 20+. The clothes were cute though, which is why I wanted the two shirts I got (GF got the other).

Cool place to go if you’re a tourist looking to support local businesses!

Popkiller (noun) — Trendsetting Japanese hipster store located in Jtown.
I bought the coolest skull beanie here which was really different and a perfect gift for a friend who is tatted out.
Then they had all these cool little pins that I attached to it. They read:
I hate toe jam.
I hate free loaders.
I hate nose hairs.
I hate suits.
I love sushi.
I am fucking genius.
Haha, yes they make great gag gifts. I’ll be back.
