Had some great things. Bought a lot of funky fun clothes, sweats, glasses, wallet. Fun Shopping. Girls were sweet and willing to help.

It’s so dangerous that this store is within walking distance from my front door. I’ve browsed in here from time to time. Most of it is not really my style but I have found some great pieces in here. I usually end up getting cool jackets and hoodies. For accesories or basic tanks and tees, I would suggest heading around the corner to F21, cuz some basic items at Planet Funk are pricey. The store is pretty small but they pack in a lot of different brands. The staff is always very friendly, chatty and helpful. They even like to throw in some extra choice items in the fitting room to help you coordinate a look. Beware of the return policy! You only get store credit. I made an impulse purchase and found out the hard way!

Normally this is one of those stores I wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole. Nestled in the shopping plaza at Hollywood and Highland, its screamed«tourist trap! come spend all your money on trendy clothes you can only find in LA!» So naturally I was totally surprised to find myself drawn in like a moth to a flame, despite the loud music and the size 0 samples hanging in the window. I’m so glad I went in. Since I was clearly not the target demographic for the store I expected to be ignored at best, treated badly at worst. Instead everyone was super cool as I browsed, taking my selections to the fitting rooms and making suggestions. In the end I got a great top that, in all honesty, I probably wouldn’t have found anywhere but in LA, that is so my style. There were a lot of other great things and a massive sale rack, but I stuck with my find. I get tons of compliments and everyone asks me where I got the shirt.
