Im sitting here sipping on coffee on a monday morning . I can remember this place as far back as 1985, not sure if its the same owners but its stil here and let me tel you very bussy people getting the mor ing coffee, fresh natural juices, doughnuts, breakfast plates, bueeitos and burgers. Some people may get turnned off once they enter because you can tell they havent really made any changes since ever, but thats cool with me it’s a local family own and i like to support this kind of spots. Now 1:41 pm monday . Had to ci back for a burger. Im happy.

Wow, I read some reviews at this place, I don’t know what your people think about this top burger, to me I think the owner over charges every body, because even a hot sauce you ask you got to pay 35cent so f… cheap. That what Cambodia do try to get when ever they can even 5c or 10c so low for them. I never come back here again

THEYNOWHAVEKOLACHES. Still have not been here but I have been searching high and low for a place in Los Angeles that serves KOLACHES. Just drove past and saw they have a banner saying they now serve Texas style kolaches. Writing this review now and mentioning Kolaches as much as possible so it turns up when I’m searching for kolaches later. So anyways, kolaches guys.

dont know where to start. in the beging this place was ok! and i mean ok!!! now this place is straight dirty and nasty. i cant forget the day i got a burger and the same guy that took my $$$ to charge me for my buger was the same guy that cooked the burger. i watched him with out washing his hands grab the burger meat and start to cook my burger with out washing his hands!!! that was straight down nasty. well cooking my burger he was also doing other things getting his hands more dirty and again with out washing his hands starts to make my burger. that had made me mad and ask him to wash his hands and he had the nerve to ask me why that they are clean!!! i wanted to tell him off. but there where kids around at the time! now an other thing the donuts always have flys crawling and flying inside the glass where the donuts are. they land all over them. that is nasty and sick!!! i had brought it to their attention about the flys and the lady told me not to worry about it. that the donuts where fine!!! so if you buy donuts make sure they come with no fly shit or flys crawling all over them! will never and i mean never buy or walk in to that place ever!!! one more thing the dount chinese lady told me off cause i had informed a lady tht there was flys in the donuts. she was buying. she told me to mind my own business. and i said that is nasty how can you sell those donuts to pepole!!! so she went off in chinese to her worker about me!!!

As the judge and jury I will give credit points to the fact that this place opens early and caters to the neighborhood. The donuts are OK and look just like every other donut I’ve seen around town. The problem I have is the way the breakfast burrito was made. Food trucks use real grilled potatoes in their burritos as do cafes and restaurants. In the case of this place the guy dropped 3 frozen potato patties into the fryer and then put 2 eggs in a tortilla along with these oily potato patties and charged me more than $ 4.50. The local food trucks use real ingredients and charge between $ 3.50−4.50, so I guess I will revisit them in the mornings, but I like to give other places a chance. Cheers.

I get donuts for my office every Friday here. The two very nice girls always remember me and are beyond friendly. Their donuts are consistently delicious and fresh… the thai tea is suprisingly super yummy too. Can’t beat the prices either!

Despite the ‘B’ health rating, Yummy Donuts(not perfect…) & Top Burger wasn’t too shabby. We sampled the Apple Fritter & Donut Holes — 8 for $ 1(just the holes). The Apple Fritter was light, fluffy, & crispy all at the same time with just the right amount of appleness. The Donut Holes on the other hand weren’t as great. There was the perfect amount of glaze, just enough to barely cover the Donut Holes, but not too much that it was overwhelmingly sweet(yes, we do realize we’re talking donuts here…) BUT some of the Donut Holes were a bit on the un-fresh side, they tasted great, but a bit stale. Perhaps if you grabbed some in the morning they would be fresher. 4 stars for the fritter, and 3 for the holes… the coffee was pretty darn good for donut shop coffee also. We recommend getting your donuts to go and enjoy them in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery that’s right down the street. It makes for a very lovely afternoon. Free parking and accepts credit cards.

I am writing this review solely based on their boba. I am a huge boba fan and have had it a lot of place. The honeydew and taro boba are the best. The two women are really good at making them. The gentleman… not so much. I have tried the strawberry and pineapple boba smoothie. Those are really good smoothies but the flavor is just too strong to go along nicely with the boba.

This little shop has great donuts, but their best item is their fresh juice! For $ 3 they’ll whip you up a fresh OJ or mixed juice. Five oranges in– one giant, refreshing, addictive OJ out.

iv’e been coming to this place since i was 12yrs old i have never been disappointed the food is great my two favorite things to eat here are the Top Burger specials and the Shrimp & Chicken Teriyaki plate. This place has everything you need when it comes to food and if your a picky eater they will add or take away whatever you want on the plate with no grunts. Food– excellent Service– good cleanliness– good Overall– satisfied

Brightly lit, nice and clean. This place covers your basic meals by not only having donuts, not only having burgers-but both. And not like McD’s which serves breakfast till 11am. I’ve only stopped here once. They had free parking out front and an A health rating. And they were on the way to wherever I was going. Next time I’m over there and need a soda or some sugar, I’ll stop back.

Ask any of the kids from the elementary, middle, and now high school in the area, this is THE place to grab some donut holes before class or get a burger after school. Sure, it’s not as busy as the McDo’s, Burger King, or Taco Bell nearby, but it doesn’t need to be. The food speaks for itself. The donuts are like any other donut shop, but it’s the donut holes that sell fast. The strawberry smoothie is also a good fix for your sweet tooth. And the other half of the name sake? Not necessarily the best burgers in the world, but it does it’s job and it’s a good size. Get the combo with the fries and you’re golden. Teriyaki chicken is also on the menu, but since it’s not as popular it takes a little longer. No worries, check out the video games while you wait. Neighborhood hole-in-the-wall does it’s job and offers prime real estate to watch the traffic build up on Santa Monica Blvd. come rush hour.
