Papi’s Pizzeria is a gourmet pizza restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Operated by Marcus Fuentes and his wife Angelica, Papi’s Pizzeria uses only the freshest ingredients to prepare traditional slices, 18″ specialty pizzas, oven-​baked potato wedges, and gourmet salads. Each pizza is perfectly baked to a rustic crunch, yet incredibly soft inside. We are here to serve you weekdays until 11pm and every Friday and Saturday night until 3am.

Established in 2012.

It is our goal to meet the high expectations and growing demands of the booming Downtown Los Angeles business workforce, residents, and nightlife seekers at an affordable price. We provide dine in and take out to lunch, dinner, and late night clientele.

Meet the Business Owner

Marcus F.

Business Owner

Marcus’ experience in the restaurant industry dates back to 1993 as a food server. There, he quickly reached the status of trainer and was responsible for instructing all new front house employees.

In 1996 he began working at the San Gabriel Country Club as a formal dining room food server. He was trained and promoted to Sommelier, which gave him an extensive education in wine, wine service and food. He studied under Executive Chef Tim Burk and was an active participant in developing the nightly menu that would accompany the wines for the evening. He learned that it is important to use the best ingredients for the highest quality product. Soon thereafter he moved on to work at Gordon Biersch in Pasadena; an environment that catered to the night life. Together Marcus’ and his wife Angelica provide exceptional customer service, a passion for good food, and genuine love of Downtown LA — this is what makes Papi’s Pizzeria a unique gourmet pizza dining experience.
