Pamper & Play

We held our daughter’s third birthday party here, and it was a great venue for about 50 guests total, roughly 20 kids and 30 adults. There were a lot of people but it wasn’t too crowded, and the party had a great vibe that was facilitated by the space. Plenty of room for the kids to run around in without any possibility of losing them, and a nice area upstairs for the adults who wanted to hang out sans kids. Lots of fun things for the kids to play with — a ball pit, a slide, costumes for imaginative play, a kitchen, a reading nook, hula hoops, and plenty of toys.
Since we didn’t want the hassle of decorating, we chose the package where the owners would handle all the decorations and activities but we would provide the food, which was much more economical. I would have no reservations about holding another party here, but if you’re wondering why the –1 star, it’s because there were some details that we spoke or emailed about that were not implemented. It wasn’t a big deal, nobody else would have known or noticed, and everyone at the party enjoyed themselves immensely, but those people who are insanely detail-​oriented when it comes to events may want to consider doing the decorations themselves.
The owners were easy to work with and Carole let us substitute a treasure hunt for the crafts, which went better with our Dora theme and was also more appealing for the boys in the group. The pacing of the 2-​hour party was perfect — once it seemed like everyone had arrived, they brought out the parachute and did some fun activities with that. Then the kids got to do some more free play while they also offered glitter tattoos upstairs for anyone who was interested — both the girls and boys loved those. They had some heavy mats out front where the kids could jump and tumble and at some point also brought out a little roller coaster track and car that the kids could ride down a slope — that was a huge hit. Cake was brought out for the last half-​hour and they helped to serve it, then the grand finale was the bubble machine that signaled it was time to exit.
The venue was absolutely perfect for our target age group — mostly 3-​year-​olds — but we had a few older kids in the 6 – 7 range that were also having the time of their lives.

Will and Carole and Mia were great! Had my son there for parents night out tonight. He loved it. Highly recommended.

We recently had our son’s preschool class get together at Pamper and Play and it was just fantastic! The indoor playground is just perfect for the little ones — more than enough toys and activities to keep the kids happily occupied for two hours! For the parents, it’s the perfect space to keep an eye on the kids and socialize with the other adults. Although the party was for 3 to 4 year olds, there were several older siblings ranging from 6 to 8 years who also had a great time. Most of the kids played non stop and did not want to leave! The owners, Carole and Will, are just lovely and so easy to work with. We highly recommend Pamper and Play to host a birthday party or any party for the little ones!

This place is as good as it gets. I have a freelance business and work part time while doing double duty as a stay-​at-​home mom to my 5 year old and 2 year old, and Pamper & Play is an absolute haven for me! I come here a few hours a morning, a few mornings a week, to get my work done while my 2 year old plays. The owners, Carole and Will, know us by name and greet us every time we walk through the door, and do everything in their power to make sure both the adults and kids are comfortable. The staff of caregivers is outstanding. My daughter is especially fond of Summer and talks excitedly about her on her way in every day, but everyone is warm, engaged with the kids, and loving. They do arts and crafts with the kids too – something I never manage to do at home!
The upstairs working area is cozy and comfortable. I do bring headphones and listen to music since the work area is in a loft – this way I can block out the noise of the kids playing, but still peek down and see what my daughter is up to.
I love Pamper & Play so much I just signed up for a monthly membership so I can come up to 20 hours a week – whether I have work to do or just want to hang out and read a book while my daughter socializes and plays. They are the best!

Carol and team are great. Perfect for the young toddler who is transitioning into day care.

I have been coming to Pamper & Play for a few months now! It’s truly a life saver! The staff working here are great with kids and the owners truly care about the experience for the kids and parents. I have a toddler with severe separation anxiety, and they are so patient with us. I am now able to enjoy the parent lounge upstairs to either surf, read or socialize with other moms. One day, I was there close to closing, and they were not busy. Their staff was cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces. I think this place is as clean as it can reasonably be! My kids have lots of fun here… from my toddler to even my 8 year old!

Carole and her staff are amazing. They jump right in and help make sure the party is running smoothly. We just celebrated my Sons 6^th Birthday this week-​end and it was a complete hit. The location is ideal and size of facility just right. They even have a section for parents to chill. Cannot beat the price. Best deal in town bar none.

My 4 year old and another 5 year old girl just had a wonderful Frozen-​themed birthday party here, and it was beautiful. What a beautiful space for a Frozen (or really any creative) party! We didn’t really need much additional décor. Carole was extremely helpful. The kids (mostly 5 and younger) had lots of things to do and play with. The space was comfortable for adults. It didn’t get loud and echo-​y like some other play spaces might get. We had about 20 kids and about 25 adults, and it was comfortable. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend for parties!

We have had our daughter’s birthday party at Pamper&Play for the second time and it was even better than last year. Carole is such a professional who handles all your requests and concerns in the best way. Everything was perfect, whatever she had offered was there. She has a great staff that really helps and the kids feel at home. The environment is wonderful, children of a wide age range can find something to play with, and it’s wonderful how Carole knows who to reach out to, if you want any additional services. Ask for what you feel would make your child happy, and Carole will make it happen!
We had a Snow White character last year, and karaōke this year. It was always perfectly organized, very easy and smooth! It’s a pleasure to work and… play with Pamper and Carole: the kids are SO happy, they enjoy the arts and crafts activities and I strongly recommend this wonderful place for any parties, day activities and all the many other theme parties Carole organizes. It feels safe to have your children in this environment and the fun is always there! Thank you so much for such a perfect service! Last but not least, it is great to still have in L.A. a place with such great service for almost anybody’s budget, and that really matters when you have more than one child! I had such a great experience here, the owner was caring and sweet, you can tell she opened this place to help parents and that’s what it does. I was able to be in the lounge, which is close enough to see your kids, but far enough to get some work done. Both my boys loved it. They made hats, got faux tattoos, sung, played games, and were kept very active. For almost 2 hours they played and didn’t yell for me once, which was a great blessing. I highly recommend this place.

Hey guys! So I just went back yesterday after Carole, the owner messaged me and addressed all of my concerns. She was extremely kind and even offered me a complimentary visit to give them another chance. In full disclosure she messaged me promptly after I posted. But for a very long time I was too scared to go back. I really thought it would be exactly the same. Also, my daughter and I both had gotten very sick right after that last visit. I was really terrified of us getting sick again. Is there anything scarier for a working mom?
Anyway I finally worked up the courage to go back. I’m SO glad I did. The difference was night and day. Had a fabulous experience all around. Everything was super clean and organized, staff was great. My daughter had a wonderful time playing with the amazing staff they have, and I got some much needed work done. Win win for both of us.
I truly believe this is Unilocal at it’s finest. Rather than me never going back and P and P not knowing why, I was able to share my thoughts and they had the opportunity to see what happened with my experience, and to fix it. Now it’s better than ever. They are now back at the top of my go to list for indoor playgrounds.

this place is really dirty. I am really surprise to see some parents don’t even take off their shoes. it is our first time and last time trying this place. everything is old, dirty and out dated. everything in the bathroom was torn and dirty. ugh…
the manager’s white sucks was totaly black underneath it (because it was very dirty) this place doesn’t have dress code for their employees… one of them has tattoos wearing very loose tang top. I am fine with tattoos, but not showing it in your work place.
I don’t recommend this place to any body, specialty under 1 year old kids.

Not what I was expecting. Not a place for babies or young toddlers. I was disappointed that I called to confirm that my 13 mo was old enough, and was told yes of course. I arrived and it was chaos, with kids running everywhere. There is no separate area for little ones. My 13 mo was knocked over twice in the first two minutes we stood there. I watched two workers just talk instead of doing anything, while a third tried to get all the kids under control. It made me uncomfortable that the adults had so little interaction with the kids. As I was leaving, a gentleman working there told me my son was too young. Too bad they didn’t tell me that on the phone. A waste of time. Probably fine for kids over 4 who won’t need much supervision.

Ditto with the size etc that hasn’t changed but I COMMEND the owner Carol for being so hands on and present She has delightful upbeat energy, as do the employees. Ally and Priscilla are gems. My son loves love this spot. You CAN bring snacks too so that is a plus. Also all the camp and parent night out deals are great choices. Carol and employees are sweet too in creating activities — art project work outside, pull out a parachute, play songs with dancing, etc. I love this spot. I feel like 3 is about the perfect age for this spot!

BEST. PARTY PLACE. EVER.

— Size of P&P: PERFECT SIZE for bday parties (do you really want to be running the length of a football field, chasing after your little one?).
— Economical: Best price in town, especially considering all the perks that come with it.
— Total Freedom: P&P couldn’t have been more accommodating for all our special requests!

We recently had a combo party for my 1-​year-​old son /​40-​year-​old husband (we surprised him… he was definitely surprised lol!) and I knew it would be amazing from the minute Carole sent me the stunning personalized e-​invitation (oh that’s right, she’s an über-​talented graphic artist).
We had approx 30 people, and there was PLENTY of room. The kids ran around totally excited for 3 hours straight, and I know many of us adults enjoyed some quieter chat/​relaxation upstairs (a kid-​free zone at a birthday party venue? Umm… YES PLEASE!).
We made ourselves right at home. Brought all the decorations/​food/​drink we wanted; P&P was happy to accommodate for special arrangements.
Carole + a Play Supervisor (Paige is amazing!) helped us with all the set-​up, take-​down, and activities with kids throughout the party. Thanks to Carole + Co., everything ran like a well-​oiled machine.
A dream party from start to finish. Couldn’t have imagined anything better for my mens’ special celebration. We have definitely fallen in love with P&P, and I can’t imagine our lives without this amazing place!

I went to Pamper & Play for the 1^st time yesterday morning and walked out after fifteen minutes. There is absolutely no way I would have left my 1-​year-​old daughter in the watch of anyone at Pamper & Play. Most disturbing was the fact that within the few minutes the «husband of the owner» was frenetically talking to me, my daughter put a choking hazard completely in her mouth. I then walked around and started picking them up all over the place — tiny triangular pieces, small round tubes — parts of alphabet letters that were broken — were all over the place. Which is amazing since one of the 1^st things this guy said to me was that Pamper & Play caters to babies and toddlers. THIS PLACE IS UNSAFE FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS. Period. I honestly feel like I need to warn other mothers beyond Unilocal.This place has no business being in the business of children.

When I have kids of my own someday, I absolutely cannot wait to frequent Pamper And Play. Hey, that rhymed!
Seriously — I cannot recommend Pamper and Play enough. The design of the place is just lovely — the colors are fun and friendly, yet calming. They have such a cute and absolutely relaxing location — the «parents» hideaway upstairs is cozy and perfect for catching up on emails/​phone calls/​etc. while the tykes are downstairs running around with plenty a toy and adventurous kid-​friendly architecture to choose from.
They have a very competent and sincerely caring staff — one is always nearby to ensure your little ones are having a fantastic time. Carole (the owner) is absolutely fantastic and sweet and works very hard to ensure that all enjoy their time there. They always have creative parties and gatherings (check out their website calendar for upcoming events) with some fun things for kids (and adults) to participate in.
Highly recommended.

I was a bit skeptical when I walked in because I thought it smelled funny, but.
All in all clean place and my so loved it and the ladies there (sorry didn’t get names) were all so great with the kids.
I was able to relax upstairs have a coffee and truly have «me time»

I’ve been looking for a pre-​school and most places cost around 1000+ a month… so in looking for some transitional preschool type environments with SUPERVISION and REASONABLE costs… I am very happy with Pamper and Play at around 160.00 a month with weekend drop off times too! I looked at Giggles and Hugs in Century City but parking costs add up very quickly and it’s easy to spend 12.00 on parking a day, it’s also overwhelming for my 2 year old. Under the sea doesn’t provide supervised play so I don’t get a break. But pamper and play has a lot of street parking, lovely and caring supervision, indoor and outdoor activities and craft time, music, bubbles, games, pretend dress up… and a space for much needed SANITY TIME for mommies (and daddies too). It’s a TREASURE.
It’s also my son’s favorite place. and he is 6. He got wacked a few times at Giggles n hugs by their wii game remote… and never wants to go back there. He may love transformers but he loves care bears too. And so we held a playdate Birthday Party for him recently here. Mommies lounged upstairs drinking tea and eating chocolate and the kids made gack (a great sensory type of play dough) and had glitter tattoos, pizza delivered, and sooooo much fun! It is the PERFECT place for future play dates!!! And LOVELY birthday memories!!! A wonderful find!

I’ve been taking my daughter (age 6) to P&P for a couple of years for Yoga classes and Yoga Camps, we LOVE it. Carol and the staff are very attentive and personable. The location is extremely easy to find and parking is plentiful on the street and in the back.
Open play is simply awesome, the ability to supervise without having to watch the kids every second is simply amazing. The upstairs parents lounge is cozy and lends itself to quiet conversation or reading. Plus they have a nifty keurig machine to make really good coffee.
The pricing can’t be beat, the location is excellent, and the staff is professional and courteous. All in all, a fantastic business that we’ll keep going to year in and out.
