I was referred to Dr. Sharazi, for pain management. My first appointment, I was to be seen by him to go over some MRI’s that were ordered for my lower-back. When I arrived at 10:30 am, I had my paperwork in-hand & filled out for them. I waited at least 50-minutes before I was even taken back to be seen by the 1st employee out of a total of 4. 3 other patients were taken back & seen by the Dr. who had appts scheduled after mine, & who had come in an hour or so after I had. Turns out they were basketball players, so I guess the get special treatment. I was spoken to by the Medical assistants, &2 other RN’s, all repeating & asking the same questions over & over again. At this point it was about 1:30, & it was obvious that these nurses were just trying to keep me busy, until the Dr. felt like coming in & doing his job. When the Dr. finally made an appearance, he ran me through some physical movement exercises which took about 1 – 2 mins, & then proceeded to reiterate the same questions I had been asked 3 other times by the previous employees of his. So when I was answering him, I was naturally irritated when he was on his cell-phone texting, & providing me with intermediate«mmhhmm» and«Uhhhhuuhhss» — to my answers. After the Dr. saw me(for the whole 4 minutes he remained in the room) I was then told the reason why I was being held for so long was because their office failed to obtain my MRI results, & could not perform a proper diagnostics without them. Being that it was reaching 3pm, I decided to reschedule my appointment. I show up to my second appointment, &SURPRISE! They are running 2.5 hours behind schedule, & also told me that if I didn’t have my MRI results with me, then I should just«reschedule»(Yes, you read that correctly). All in all, the Dr. seems incompetent, at least when it comes to the operational aspect of running his business. and just a helpful tip– they do NOT validate parking, and it was $ 20 each time I showed up & wasted my time. Oh, & I am still in extreme pain, due to not being able to actually see the Dr. to get my medication refilled.
