Normandie Ave Children’s Center

I went to this childcare center from 1987 until 1995. Now that I am an adult I decided to take my son (3 years old) here. I was pleasantly surprised that 75% of the staff is the same and the cirriculum is better. All the staff is nice, the teachers are very involved and the program promotes independence and learning. I absolutely love it. My son gets two hot meals and a snack daily. The prices are right and it is close to home. I also love that it opens at 6:30am. This program starts at 2 years old and goes until ⁴¹⁄₂ I believe. This school is connected to a elementary so if you live in the area your child can transition right over to the elementary. It is also refreshing to know that this Early Head Start is a LAUSD facility to mean that means rules, regulations, and guidlines to follow. I would reccomend this program to any parent.
