Never been to HQ, but I play their game and I am reviewing based on that been playing since ’08& can say that ever since Big Bang their game went straight down hill never recovered, I was a faithful customer spent a lot of cash on this game because back then I was young didn’t have any kids or responsibilities, I remember when they blocked me from using debit & they wouldn’t tell me why, never complained to my bank about them, never tried to get a refund, always used my own debit card, always had the money, anyways I always try to play this game but it gets boring so fast.

This game was AMAZING when it first came out. The new company running it completely destroyed it. It used to take months to reach the max lvl and now you can hit the max lvl in a day or two. Also if you want your character to have the best gear you HAVE to buy«NX Cash» which is real money that you use to get gear in the game. Used to be amazing and fun to play but now the company has COMPLETELY destroyed it. I quit a few months ago. If it was still the original game I’d still play but a person can literally start playing today and with enough cash be the #1 player in the whole game. So stupid

I can’t speak for their other games, but it seems like Mabinogi is the black sheep of Nexon. Here’s how to run a game like Mabinogi, the Nexon way: 1. Introduce obvious bugs with each major patch. The lack of a solid test suite and QA team will help with this. 2. Introduce events with bugs and untranslated text.(See above) 3. Do not read player-submitted tickets carefully. Offer canned responses or ignore tickets until they«age out» and are auto-closed. 4. Trust the client and have poor server-side checks, allowing skilled programmers to modify their client to cheat and hack other players. 5. Have 5 – 6 hours of downtime each week due to maintenance, without ever explaining why. Do not patch bugs during this downtime. 6. Ban players from the game without explanation. Ignore inquiries about said banning. 7. The above statement does not apply to spammers and gold farmers. Do nothing about them. 8. Make sure your game constantly suffers from lag spikes. Rubberbanding is fun. 9. Shut down all game servers when demand is «low»(looking at you, Nexon Europe). Hmm, maybe there’s a reason people avoid this game? Love the game. Loathe the company running it.
