Nexcom

I had the worst experience with John Lee of president of NEXCOM bordering on fraud. I came in the store on the corner of the Vermont and Olympic, looking to sign up for a cell phone service. I gave him my social security number and drivers license number to run a credit check to determine how many lines I could activate. Well I decided not to sign up because he did not have any of the phones I wanted in stock at that time, so he would check the next day and get back to me the next day. After that day, he kept on calling and telling me that he had the phones I wanted and to come sign up for some reason even though I had decied not to sign up with NEXCOM.
Well it turns out he decided to activate 2 lines under my name for me without my permission and chose 2 plans on his own the day I came in, and after I left the store. I did not find out until 3 weeks later that he had activated lines under my name for phones I decided I did not want, when I went to another mobile store in Korea town to sign up for a new plan. After I called John Lee to confirm this he got angry and said that I said I did him wrong by shopping around at other stores. I wanted to argue with him, but he just hung up. So I contacted the mobile phone customer support immediately to report fraud and cancel the lines.
None of the lines had been used so I was able to have the 2 lines canceled by contacting customer support. I could not report him for fraud because he did not use the lines at all. I am afraid he has my SSN and driver license number and my try to illegally use it in the future.
Stay away from NEXCOM and especially John Lee. In my opinion he is unscrupulous individual and needs to be put out of business. He is a skinny, short, middle aged FOB with stringy balding hair and a bad attitude. Watch out for this guy! He is out to rip you off! This guy is crazy. My boyfriend thought he was weird and that I should not have dealt with him, I should have listened to him.

NEXCOM is prolly one of the biggest cell phone chain store in Koreatown in Los Angeles. Given that the Nexcom stores are located on every other corner, it’s best to know that you will do yourself a favor by not, I repeat, N-​O-​T wasting your time in getting a cell phone, at least at NEXCOM.
AGAIN, the worst service ever. EVER! I came here with my mom this past weekend and can I say, you are one big s#iTf&cK? I’m talking about this president of Nexcom. So, this guys name is JOHN LEE, he’s this fob, and can you BELIEVE that he’s the president/​owner of NEXCOM? THE PRESIDENT/​OWNER… this fool looks like a freakin anchovie, all skimpy and tweeked out looking… You would THINK that if you’re the president/​owner, you would provide with EXCEPTIONAL service but omg, I swear, I was going to bite his head off.
The minute we got into this store, we saw this man (John) helping this lady before us. My mom and I were looking at different pamphlets of the other cell phone carriers when I overheard the lady he was helping was discussing the family plan deal with T-​Mobile. I figured, why not listen in, that way he could save his breath without having to repeat his spheal. So, my mom and I sat close to them. The lady didn’t mind, she just smiled, but no, John was like, «can I help you?» «No, we’re just trying to see what you’re explaining to the lady.» «Well, can you sit over there? Wait your turn!» (he even sounded like a jackass). «I’m interested in the family plan, so I thought it would be easier to listen in.» «I can only help one client at a time, and you’re giving me a headache.» I could not believe this is what the asshole was saying. My mom then said, «I’m not asking you to help me. I’m just listening.»
I have no idea how my mom could be soo calm with this son of a bitch. Excuse my language, but can you be any more rude? This fag looked like he was in his early 30s. Then the fag said, «Look, can you sit over there?» So, my mom got up and sat on the other side. I could not believe how he was treating my mom, and how she even tolerated it, AND how he would treat his customers this way. So, of course, I got upset and said, «look, all she wanted was to save your last breath so you didn’t have to repeat yourself. You don’t need to be a prick about it.» «I’m helping someone, can you see that?» Then, my mom told me to quiet down and not cause a scene. I was not, I was NOT causing a scene, I was furious and upset. You just don’t treat people like that. «How do you expect to have customers with your shitty attitude?»
I could go on and on and on, but pretty much, bottom line: NEXCOM IS NOT THE PLACE TO BUY UR CELL PHONES!
