I got my hair cut here a few weeks ago by Ivan and I was so happy I brought a friend back the next day and he loved his cut as well! Ivan was very detailed and had great customer service! He had me cracking up the whole time! The shop is very clean and everyone that worked there was super friendly and really gave the shop some life! You definitely want to make an appointment ahead of time since this is a popular spot it does get packed!

Took about 2 HOURS to get a ugly hair cut. Plus they charger like 20 dollar for a basic cut. Wish I could rate 0 stars. NEWLINE CUTS more like NEW WACK CUTS.

First and foremost, make an appointment to skip the line or else you will be there for a while. Expect a clean environment, with great barbers I can assure you that will leave you satisfied in every way. I’m slowly becoming a regular and will continue to return. Note that not all the barbers accept cards so it’s better to have cash in hand. Happy customer

I hardly write any reviews, but had to write now because of my great experience here.
This place had such a chill atmosphere that it feels like a bunch of friends just hanging out and doing what they like to do, which is cut hair. The place was packed when I got in, but I booked an appointment earlier (recommended). Got seated not to long after with Ivan and told him what I specifically wanted. The dude did everything I asked and made everything cleaner than I expected. I was super impressed.
The things I noticed about this place compared to others is that they don’t rush the cut and every one of the barbers took their time on the client. I can tell they take pride in their craft. Though my cut was being worked on closer to their closing time, Ivan still took his time with my hair.
I’ll be coming back here for sure.

The best barbershop in LA. I refuse to go anywhere else. Every barber in that shop is skillful and they know what there doing. If you wanna do walk in go early or in between the week it’s not as packed. I recommended you try this barbershop at least once in your life.

I’ve lived in LA for over two years. I went through 7 barbers and shops before finally meeting Ray at Newline Cuts. He is Amazing. He knows what he’s doing and his entire crew of barbers do great work! It’s packed so I definitely recommend an appointment and if you know barbershops, you know they’re busy th-​Sat so call ahead. Cost is definitely worth the work. If I could give 10 stars I would.

By far the best barbershop! I’ve had the same barber since high school (now 25) appointments are strongly recommended! They’re great with customers and care about the services they provide and are always on point with any hairstyle you throw at them… Ray, Chris, Nene and Ivan are the best barbers here…

Go see any of the barbers here, they all got skills! I get my hair cut by Jesus and now I wont go anywhere else in LA! Real cool dude, definitely knows what hes doing. Fades, lineups, beards, they do it all. Call ahead and make an appointment or you might be waiting for a while.

Les recomiendo este lugar a todos. Cristian es el mejor barbero q he conocido desde q me mude de New York. No pienso cambiar de local.
I recommend everyone to try this place, the atmosphere is great, they got vending machines, music, and great barbers!!!
