I had Nate n Al’s the first time when for Chanukah my aunt ordered from here and it was so good that when my Mother was visiting, I had to take her here because who doesn’t like a delicious Jewish deli and this definitely fell into the mold. It did not disappoint. Great matzo ball soup and the barley mushroom soup is amazing. The latkes are amazing and well worth the trip alone. 5 stars!

Of course, since my last Nate n Als review, I felt I had to continue lauding it’s glory. It is hands down the best restaurant in Beverly Hills. Having dined at all the Beverly Hills classics, the Palm, e baldi, Mastros and the like you could call me a real snob. However, all those places don’t mean anything next to Nate n Als. Nate n Als has my heart forever. A real treat to sit down to the country’s best pickles and perfectly crisp hash browns among the cream of the Beverly Hills crop. Everyone loves it here. Judge Judy especially! Ambiance and flavor galore, with charming waitresses like Michelle. Judge Judy is a regular here and so am I. PS Today, we saw the incomparable, magnificent Jodie Foster. See what kinds of strong, intelligent women this place draws?!! Just ask the beautiful waitress with the blue glasses

Back again for lunch with Michelle(the greatest waitress)! Reuben with onion ring and a ½ Westwood with potato salad. You can’t beat the food or the friendly(New York style) service.

Great deli food, fun NYC atmosphere in the heart of Beverly Hills, but the best thing are the waitresses. Hilarious and down to earth, they make the whole experience an unalloyed pleasure.

Hey I came here by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The food is top notch and Kevin suggested I try the steak fries. They were amazing especially with ketchup. I will be coming back. They pastrami is also a pleaser. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it.

This place is supposedly famous, but way too crowded for my own comfort. I ate here with a huge party. A few of us came a little bit after our friends had ordered, and when we asked for the menu, it never came. No menu, no water, no utensils, nothing. Not until much much later. They were really slow in coming around. I had the Apple Cinnamon Toast with apple cinnamon added on for extra $. It was different, not what I expected. But it was good. I like that they cooked(or placed?) the egg right on top of the toast. Never had that before. The egg balances out the sweet toast. Hate the fact that you have to pay at the counter. When I came to pay, I said«$ 25 on the card, rest is cash.» The girl at the counter charged me $ 5. I looked at the receipt and said, «Wait, this is $ 5. I wanted to charge $ 25.» She said in a very non-apologetic tone of voice like it’s my fault, «I heard $ 5.» So she charged my card again for $ 25. I figured she’d canceled the $ 5 she previously charged. When I checked my bank later the next day, there were TWO charges: $ 5 and $ 25. I’m like THEHELL? So I called and they explained to me that it takes a few days for a charge to drop. Wouldn’t it have been easier if she just charged another $ 20 instead? With her bad attitude I was peeved. But, whatever.

Love Nate N Al’s. My favorite on the menu, skirt steak and the chocolate mousse dessert is the best! Lois(server) is a hoot and a half and such a beautiful soul. Seriously this place feels like home each and every time I take family or friends! A must go to place!!!

I LOVENATE-N-AL’S. It is one of my favorite deli’s in LA. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here. I’ve been eating here my entire life, I even remember when I was little and I had the bagel on the string(can I still order that?). This place is an LA institution. Some classics of the menu that I would recommend are well, everything, but that would be a really long review! Anyway off the lunch menu, the Brentwood Sandwich, the Hollywood Sandwich, and the Westwood Sandwiches are all so good. Simple, yet delicious. You can’t go wrong with either potato salad or cole slaw, but I personally prefer the potato salad. It’s incredibly creamy and tangy. The perfect potato salad in my opinion. I know I’ve already written a review, but I can’t help it. This place rocks, as do all the servers. They are all just the sweetest. We had Angela last time we were there, and she rocks!

Maybe I’m a bit bias, being from BH but the hot pastrami here is probably the best in all LA. Especially when served in a Ruben style sandwich which was recommend to me by my waitress, which I might add was extremely nice. Also As a side for your hot pastrami ruben, request the secret wine/mayo type sauce. Awesome. Order fries and coke and it’s all good from there. Always great to eat here, LA history.

Excellent! Best pastrami! Lemon cake-yum. Great service and a nice atmosphere and mellow from the business crazy of Beverly Dr. Street parking 1 hour before 6.

One of my favorite LA brunch spots. Great soup and omelettes. It’s like someone dropped a New York deli in the middle of the desert! Great service and great food.

Nate n Al’s is amazing. If I were on death row and they offered me one meal before I went it’d be here. The corned beef, eggs and onions is absolutely out of this world and the tuna melt is on a whole other level. Don’t miss on the pickles or any of the smoked fish either– you won’t regret it.

Every time I eat at Nate and Al’s I get the perfect combination of laughter, great service and a plate of awesomeness! Thanks Michelle for always being so welcoming and going the extra mile to make sure my experience is a good one –to be frank, aside from the food you’re the reason I come back! I love how I hardly ever have to look at the menu cause you always have something great to suggest. The Pastrami Ruben sandwich was yummy! Thanks again! And you’ll see me soon! –Tiffany

You know that when you order food at a sporting venue it’s more expensive than if you just ate at the restaurant somewhere else, off-site. How much is that CPK pizza or those McDonald’s fries? Come again? So how surprised was I when my friend and I stopped at the Nate n’ Al at Staples Center and found the prices to be LESS?! It’s $ 11.95 for a whole hot pastrami sandwich(versus $ 13.50 off-site). To be fair, they vary slightly in terms of what they come with. Off-site, you get potato salad or cole slaw. At Staples, you get a pickle spear and kettle chips. Still, the pastrami is the main event. It’s great, yes a little fatty but so yummy. Much better than that hot dog I was eyeing! I went to the location by the Suites.
