Welcome to MusiCamp Los Angeles! We are excited to provide your children with the opportunity to continue their musical studies over the summer months – or begin them for the first time while having fun with new friends!

History

Established in 2014.

MusiCamp LA is designed and hosted by two award-​winning pianists with a diverse interest in music. Ashlee Young & Bobby Apperson founded MC-​LA to extend vital arts education during the summer months for children who love (or you think will love!) music of all kinds.

Business Owner

Ashlee Young began her piano study at the age of 4 in Southern California and continued studying with various teachers throughout her childhood. She graduated from Montana State University Billings with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, emphasis in piano performance under the instruction of Dorothea Cromley. She then graduated from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music with a Master’s degree in Music, emphasis in piano performance under the instruction of Daniel Pollack. Throughout her career, she has performed in many recitals, competitions and special events. Ashlee currently lives in Los Angeles where she performs and teaches her private studio of Young Musicians.
