This is my first ever Unilocal review — that’s how much I appreciate Deborah and Morgan Real Estate!
We met Deborah during one of the open houses and right away we knew we wanted her as our agent. We were very specific and picky about the home buying process, and a lesser agent would have probably given up! Almost a year later, we finally found our home. Deborah was so informative and helpful and calm throughout the entire process. She know the entire LA market really well, especially the neighborhoods we were researching. As first time home buyers, the experience can get overwhelming, but Deborah guided us throughout and was extremely candid about advice that gave us an advantage. She followed up several times after the purchase of the house, and really looked out for our interest throughout the process.
I would highly recommend her to anyone looking in LA!

Morgan doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk, living where she lists. So she not only knows the neighborhood, she’s an actual neighbor in it, as am I for 20+ years now.
Just this morning I walked up and had a gander of her new listing at 1249 So. Stanley in Wilshire Vista — wow! This house is the newest gem in the crown of Wilshire Vista, one of the most vibrant, hip, and ‘I gotta live there’ locales in Los Angeles. This house, from the studs up was done right. Anyone and everyone living within comp-​distance of this property owes Morgan a huge shout-​out and thank you for upping the ‘class’ quotient of the area and increasing everyone’s property value. Morgan, Kai, and the rest of the Morgan Real Estate team made the sale of my home effortless — from our first meeting. Morgan is exceptionally knowledgeable about the market, and was always prepared and professional. She was clearly «in her element» when selling my home. I spent about a year and a half being really frustrated with my previous realtor and depressed about my house hunting experience. Every weekend I was sent out — by myself — into homes and neighborhoods that I hated. Once I connected with Morgan, I immediately saw MLS listings that were in line with what I wanted… and then some! She drove me all around LA and showed me the neighborhoods I was considering and, based on my budget, explained how I would need to reset my house expectations to live in those communities. Then, I allowed her to work her magic and do what she does best. She began taking me to neighborhoods that I had never considered so that I could get the house that I really wanted. Her strategy worked! I met Morgan in August, I found my home in September, and I closed in October.
And, two and a half years later, I’ve recommended her to several others AND we remain friends!

Buying a house is stressful. You definitely want to work with someone who will make the process as easy as possible and for us that person was Deborah. From our first meeting she made us feel comfortable and distressed the process. She very quickly grasped what we were looking for, how we lived and what our budgetary constraints were.
From the time we met Deborah till we closed escrow on a new house was 6 months. During that time Deborah was always encouraging and skillfully guided us through the process of making offers on 3 houses. The third time was a charm and we found a gem of a house in a neighborhood we had not previously been aware of.
All along the way Deborah was professional, patient, calm and warm. She was always available, an excellent communicator and a pleasure to work with. The listing agent of the house we bought told us that Deborah was a dream to work with. The offer package she put together so impressed the sellers that they chose us even though the amount we offered was not the highest.
Needless to say we very highly recommend Deborah and Morgan Real Estate.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Morgan Real Estate. My husband and I were selling our home in Los Angeles from out of state and Morgan and her team handled the whole process seamlessly. From coordinating showings and open houses with our tenants, to helping us set up home inspections, repairs and landscapers, Morgan took care of everything! DREAM HOUSE checked off the bucket list! We worked with Morgan and Jeffrey on the sale of our home. We were aggressive on the listing price (a pocket listing), during the holidays. The house sold in 1 day. Jeffrey pushed the sale through to the finish line and made sure that the transactions, inspections, etc. went smoothly. We had a bit of a hickup as a result of inspections (nothing to do with Morgan’s team), but we perservered and we closed on time. We found solid buyers who were the perfect fit for the home we sold. We also used Jeffrey to help us buy a house. It was a daunting, long process of finding the perfect house (our needs were very specific). Jeffrey kept positive and supported us every step of the way, finding us what we needed and weeding out what we didn’t (so as not to waste time). He helped get us into our dream home. He managed a very challenging seller. In the end, we paid well under asking for a home that was move-​in ready. Both Morgan and Jeffrey are friends for life! They’re very professional, persistent with what we, as their clients, needed. Professional every step of the way! Oh, and Morgan knows LA better than anyone I know. She knows the neighborhoods and has friends in just about every neighborhood. Goes to show what an awesome person she is (and an awesome team).

A friend recommended Deborah to us and it couldn’t have been a better fit. We loved how real and down to earth she is. Working with her felt like working with a close trusted friend. As first time home buyers, she was very patient and made sure we understood everything at every stage of the process. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and gave her honest opinion if asked to chime in. She was patient and was very good at always checking in with us on the status of things and/​or what we should expect next. When we first met Deborah, she seemed like a really warm and genuine person and we immediately liked her. Later, once she’d become our agent, we found out that she’s also very professional, well-​organized, and helpful every step of the way. Not to mention, extremely patient, as we tried to figure out over the course of several months which area, price range, architectural style, etcetera, etcetera, we were looking for. We never felt any pressure from Deborah. Instead, she knocked on doors in neighborhoods we’d shown interest in, arranged for us to tour a recently remodeled home and see several other properties before they were on the market, set up innumerable showings, and tirelessly helped us work through our ideas and options. To top it off, once we’d found our new home and made a successful offer, Deborah arranged and attended all the property inspections, got us repair estimates, and helped us manage the paperwork, all this while we were out of the country. We’re very grateful to have had her on our side.

Deborah and Morgan Real Estate helped find me my dream home. Unlike other realtors Deborah made sure to tailor my home search and listened to what my needs and wants were. She made sure I was educated every step of the way!

Getting a new home is nerve wracking and uncertainty is endless. Something I could never have imagined happened: Eddie not just made the experience better for me but enjoyable! The way he dealt with me and the procedure was so ON IT: fast precise and super efficient, but even more importantly he did everything with such kind and nurturing energy that the anticipation became a wonderful adventure.

I’m a developer and have used Morgan for my last 3 deals. I switched agents in the middle of one of my properties because Morgan brought so much more to the table. She is hard working, diligent and innovative. She is always looking into new ways to sell your property. She is an expert negotiator and she goes above and beyond to make sure a sale goes through, even reaching out to a buyers lender to make sure the property gets properly appraised. What can I say, Morgan just gets it! I would definitely recommend her to another developer, new real esate buyer or someone looking for their family dream home. We’ve used Morgan for the purchase and sale of our condo. She really knows the Mid-​City market and was always very enthusiastic and quick to respond to our questions.
