It was 11:30am and I wanted something besides plain coffee. The guy said they only had plain coffee but that it’s the best plain coffee I’ll ever taste. He had no mocha and couldn’t make me a latte. It wasn’t the best coffee I’ve ever had. I should have walked a few steps to get me some Starbucks!

Good coffee, good muffins. You could certainly do a lot worse for a quick place to stop in.

We stopped by after getting dinner. Usually, it closes at 6, but they were open late tonight because they were shooting«Ringer» right next door. The 3 of us split the tiramisu and 3-layer chocolate mousse. Daniel insists they taste like choco-pie. $ 5 choco-pies. Haha. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert, and they disappointed me a bit. It’s always tough to get the right ladyfinger to mascarpone ratio, and there was too much ladyfinger for my taste. The 3 layer thing was very good, and they guy enthusiastically vouched for it. On our way out, he insisted that we come back and let him know what we thought(since we took everything to go). Nice guy. Cute little bakery that I totally wouldn’t have seen without looking it up on Google Maps. Probably would stop by again if I’m in the area.

Just to clarify on the location. It’s between 5th&6th, not 4th&5th as shown on the map. I think it’s actually in the Biltomore building, and across the street from the library and Hilton checkers. It’s Seattle’s best coffee, so nothing special. But they have whole milk out(you dont have to ask them for it) and there’s was no wait, so I’ll give it four stars

We were staying in the Biltmore Hotel up the street and I wanted an alternative to the ever-present St*rB**ks for my morning start. The café latte I ordered was actually better than at aforementioned café chain, and it was HOT.(Actually a bit to hot for my taste). But given the choice, rather this way since sometimes in those franchised places you get a beverage that is meant to be drunk right now and is lukewarm after 3min. On my way out(I had decided to use the WiFi which didn’t work too greatly) I got a hot tea(turned up large) for my loved one and a plain muffin(which turned out to be delicious) for 4bucks. See you again sometime !

This was right next to our hotel and the coffee was way better tasting than Sbux or The Coffee Bean. I stopped in for breakfast-to-go almost every day of the conference. Along with the regular self-serve coffee staples like cream and sugar, they had agave syrup, brown sugar and changing selection of flavored creamers(hazelnut ftw!) The pastries are also quite good, I’ve tried the apple-stuffed croissant, a jalapeño cheese bagel and a regular croissant, no complains. Except for maybe the bagel being over-toasted, I like mine still chewy. They also take cards with no minimum!
