Dr. Michael is very thorough and very detail oriented. Incredibly personable. Most of his staff is fairly friendly. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Michael.

Mint Dental is one of the best out there. Been a patient of theirs for many years, even at their old location just a couple of blocks away. Dr Jay & Dr Mike are top notch! This brother duo pay attention to the littlest detail and take very good care of their patients. It does not matter which Doctor works on you, because they know exactly what issue you may have and/​or what has been done. They explain why certain procedures need to be done and also give out pointers for preventive measures. They make you feel very comfortable. My teeth are well taken care of every single time!
Office is very clean and modern looking. Very chic décor! Office staff are great as well!!!

Although mint dental is about 15 miles away from my home and I have plenty of dentist in my area I decided this is the place for my family and I.
Let me tell you why :
First and foremost the front desk is always pleasant and they always give me ring when I am due for a appointment.
2^nd the management is great in helping me with getting the best possible price for the work that is needed.
And 3^rd but not least dr. Jay and Michael always have a great attitude and answer all the questions or concerns that I may have.
Oh and let me not forget that they are really good with kids

Mint dental was recommended to me by a friend about 2 years ago, from the time that you walk through the door you can tell that they really pride themselves on being the best. The first thing that I notice when walking through the door would be that is smells great and looks impeccably clean, the service was great and the management very understanding in a financial status. My family and I love this place and I don’t plan on going any where else.

I love this office! It’s so cute, and does not have the feel as if you’re going to the dentist, but rather as though you’re at the entrance of a spa, as my friend put it. Anyways, a lot of people on here pointed out that the office also does not smell like a dentist’s office, and I have to agree. It smells really good! I can’t explain the smell, but it’s like vanilla, or cinnamon, or autumn, you know what I mean. They also play really good background music. The Strokes FTW! They create such an amazing ambiance, that you could for a minute forget that you are about to see the dentist. Don’t get me wrong, I do not hate dentists, but others do.
The staff here are they best! They are so sweet!!! This place seriously will give me a cavities soon enough, but they can just fill them, I guess. Haha.
Both dentists at the office are such sweethearts!!! Dr Michael Ignacio is always giving you explanations about things, so you’re informed about your procedure. Upon my first visit he even told me the dentists’ office story, but I could not hear him because he is so soft spoken. I love him, though! You just really have to try your best to listen to him. The other dentist is also very nice, and so accommodating. He always makes sure that you are not in any discomfort, and he seems very concerned with anything that seems to make you uncomfortable or that might bother you. Both of them are awesome and really care about you as a patient. I have recommended them to my mom and dad, and both really like them, and what’s really cute, is that they know they are my parents, and will inform me that they just came by last week, or whatever day they came.
I can’t leave out any love for the dental assistants! They are phenomenal, and seem to remember you too! They also are sweet enough to translate whenever my mom or dad go, since they only speak Spanish. They also are very mindful of you when they are doing any procedure, trying to make you comfortable as much as the dentists’ do.
Then there is Miriam (sorry if I mispelled it) the receptionist. She’s so nice! She always asks how you are, and really accommodates your schedule around their schedule, even when you aren’t so organized. Everyone at that place has such a soothing voice, and she’s no exception.
The person who takes care of the payments is also nice and accommodating, explaining how much a procedure costs, what your share of the cost is, and how much the insurance will be paying. So whenever I go in, I know how much to expect to pay and such.
I really cannot emphasize how great of a dentist office this place is! My only complaint is that scheduling your next appointment can be days away. People must know how good they are, cause they are always packed and is hard to get an appointment as soon as possible. The only time they saw me as soon as possible was the first few times, when I called to go in because of a toothache. They saw me for the first time, ON A SUNDAY, and then had me come in the next day to get ready for a root canal.
You all need to come and visit this dental office! You won’t regret it!

Mint Dental is an ideal dentistry. The staff is nice and friendly. The lobby is cozy and welcoming. Dr. Michael is very gentle and always asks if you feel any discomfort. The prices are great. Overall great place to get worked on! I thank Mint Dental for their superb service.

It is very hard to find a great dentist. I’ve been all over the place and have NEVER lasted more than a year with one particular dental office. That is, until I found Mint Dental!
Dr. Jay and Dr. Mike are the best! And I know a good dentist because I’ve had a lot of work done for someone that’s only 21 (ok, maybe I’m just a tad bit more than 21). They’re always attentive to your needs and are never in a rush to move on to the next patient. They answer all your questions and address all your concerns. They make your visit as pleasant as they possibly can. Especially for someone like me because I used to HATE going to the dentist.
Then, there’s the front office staff… also the best! They made my husband and I feel welcomed the minute we walked in. They’re very nice and are ALWAYS doing their best to accommodate our schedule. They’re all very competent and are always doing their best to make sure all your needs were met during your visit.
I’m so happy to have found this place. I’ve referred family, friends, and co-​workers and they all agree: Mint Dental is a gem. My husband and I have been with them for almost 4 years now and we’re not planning on leaving EVER! So please don’t ever relocate, Mint. At least not somewhere too far away, because you’ll be taking us with you!

So I have been to lots of dentists in my life. And I am here to tell you mint dental is amazing! These guys and girls are absolute artists. They do work to last! And I get a real sense of honesty. I highly recommend these guys. Okay I will stop boring Unilocal people with my life.

I’m going to go out on a limb here, but I’m fairly certain that beyond the feeling of leaving with a clean mouth — no one really likes the dentist. Well, the squad over at Mint Dental does their best to make sure that the whole process is as efficient as possible… making going to a dentist not so bad after all.
After moving to the East Side, I’m thrilled to finally have found a new Dentist I can call my own. I came in as a new patient this past week and had a wonderful experience getting a cleaning and fixing old fillings. (things I never thought I’d say in the same sentence). I’ll definitely be coming back.

Once again, today was another FANTASTIC experience at Mint Dental, Eagle Rock!!! Both Dr. Michael and Dr. Jay as well as their staff are always very professional and corteous. Every time I go to Mint Dental I feel like I am with friends. That’s how comfortrable I now feel going to the dentist and I didn’t feel this way before discovering these 2 dentists. Let me start off by saying that I’m the one who all my life have had a serious fear of the dentist, I’ve avoided going at all cost, but this past Sunday my whole life change.
I was having the biggest tooth ache of my life and and I started searching for open dental offices in LA and Mint Dental was the first one that popped up. Even though I live in Santa Monica which is a ride away from Pasadena. I gave them a call and immediately I appreciated the welcoming hospitality over the phone.
The office is SUPER clean, modern and smells so nice. I stormed in with so much pain and no dental insurance and thank god for the wonderful receptionist, she explained everything step by step and even gave me a discount for not having insurance.
BEST BEST BEST part about Mint Dental is… Dr. Michael Ignacio! WOW such a hot dentist, took away all my fears instantly. Besides he’s good looks, Dr. Ignacio is awesome, always asked if I felt any pain, and today took my fear of the dentist forever.
Even though there are plenty of dental office near me, I’m totally sticking to Mint Dental. Thank you all over there.

I have to say that I have never been fond of that drilling sound at the dentist but since coming here with Dr Jay & Dr. Mike I enjoy coming to the dentist. I’ve had the best experience here & they have done wonders in working with me with my Invisalign. I’m coming up on 1 year with my braces & im so thrilled with the results already. My daughter has always been afraid of the dentist as well & she now looks forward to her cleanings. The Dr.‘s & the staff have all been great & I always recommend this place to whomever I can. If you are looking for a clean, great smelling, friendly & great dentist office then this is the place for you.

I absolutely LOVE the dentists here at Mint Dental! Dr. Jay and Dr. Mike are patient, kind, and very good with kids! The entire family goes here now! I had the worst experience with my sons first dentist and they have mended his fear! I really should say that the ENTIRE staff is superior and I love Mrs. Edith! She always consults with us and helps to make things work seamlessly. She is very honest and direct about what’s going on and super willing to work with patients if necessary. Cheryl is also a dental assistant that is wonderful with patients and a major right hand to the dentists! It’s super clean, great ambiance, movies on the screen if you want, and they kids get a toy after their appointment. Love their family vibe. I highly recommend this office, and another plus is they are open on Sunday’s!!!

I’ve never liked the dentist growing up I was terrified ! I woke up on my birthday with the worse pain ever and to top it off it was a Sunday ! Dentist are never opened on Sunday’s I came across mint dental who not only was open on Sunday’s but they allowed me to do a walk in within 30 minutes of my call. Driving to the dentist was scary but once I arrived I was surprised to see how clean and organized it was. It smells so good it doesn’t even feel like a dentist office. Once I got called in I met both dr Jay and Dr Mike who explained the procedure I needed to be done step by step and created a treatment plan, needless to say they were great I was able to ask any questions and not only did they explain to me but they showed me the before and after. I would 100% recommend this dentist it’s painless, staff is great Dr.‘s are AMAZING and what’s even better is they are open on Sunday’s.

After this incident Dr. Jay contacted me and rectified this unfortunate incident. I am glad that he reached out to me personally and not just sent one of his staff members to call. Dr. Jay and Dr. Mike are truly sincere and are wonderful dentists and made sitting on the chair comfortable and pleasant. Thank you Dr. Jay for listening to my concern and correcting the situation.

Going to the dentist was always hard for me. I would avoid it like the plague! It had always been a bad experience wherever I went. Pain, pain and more pain – until I visited Mint Dental.
Dr. Jay and Dr. Michael are beyond awesome when it comes down to their practice. They are efficient, knowledgable and full of great advise. Very personable, too. I’ve had quite of bit of work and done at Mint, and each time it’s been painless and done with such care that I’ve recommended my family and friends to Dr. Jay and Michael. Something that I rarely do, unless I have total faith in the people, staff and their work.
The office is super clean and smells wonderful. I’m a little jealous my house doesn’t smell like Mint Dental, but oh well, life goes on. The staff is super courteous and is always willing to work around my busy schedule. Major plus is that they are open on Sunday! Yes… Sunday!!!
There’s so much more I would love to say, but you have to see for yourself. If you want great dental service that you won’t regret. Stop by Mint Dental and visit Dr. Jay and Michael. Make sure to setup and appointment. Spots fill up fast.

This is one of those practices that you can tell they put a lot of effort into making it a really nice experience for the patient. Everyone is nice, everything is very clean, and they’re using the newest technology. Digital x-​rays for the win! And my cleanings are done with some very pleasant water pulsing machine. They even handle the insurance part. Not every dentist does that.

I hate to write bad comments, but really felt that people should have some warning. The dentist’s bedside manner was excellent, but that is about it. If they advise a lot of expensive treatment, I would at least get a second opinion

Superb staff, thorough work, friendly and well communicating ‘bedside manner’…even a cute, modern office. Bravo, Mint!
