DO NOT TRUST ERIC!!! FRAUD! NO STARS!
Personally, Eric was my go to person for any auto service I needed. I’ve been referring my family and friends to him for years! A week ago, I went to him to get an oil change and a week later my car started heating up. my car had never had this issue before!!! I went back to him so he can tell me what was wrong with it. I was looking at him the whole time, he never touched anything and said «you maybe need a new thermostat».I asked him and said «maybe?» He said «well you know I don’t know what it can be».and I said «if I’m gonna pay for that and thats not the issue what now?!» And he said «next step is to check other parts.» I immediately called my friends uncle who lives in Fontana and he said «take your car to me, that mechanic seems like he just wants to keep charging you for unnecessary parts.» That day, my friends uncle found out that someone had put sealant in my radiator which caused it to clog up and resulted in my car heating up. I know for a fact he did it! No one worked on my car other than him, I never had this issue before, considering I take care of my car, and the reason why he didn’t want to inspect my car for the main reason and just blurted out and said change thermostat and if that’s not it we go to step 2! I don’t have the luxury to be spending money like that!!! He’s fraud and be aware

Best mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He’s my go to guy for my repairs on my 2002 Toyota Camry. He’s well priced, dependable, knowledgable, and friendly. I highly recommend Erik, the mechanic and owner of this auto repair.

As a female I often find auto places a tough place to navigate with a lot of stigma. I’ve been coming to Metro for over three years and I can’t tell you how thankful I am to have found them. They are honest, trustworthy and make you feel like you brought your car over to your uncles house.
I once tried to put in my own headlight bulb and couldn’t do it. Brought it to them and he charged me something like 10 bucks. I tried to tip him and he wouldn’t let me. I mean seriously these guys are amazing.

Worst experience. I took my car to get a sensor fix taking the only mechanic in the shop 3 days to work on it. When he finally fixed the sensor he caused another problem in my car. I took it back and he said he was going to fix it right away. I went to follow up 3 hours later and my car was still not fix. I asked how long was it going to take to fix the car. He responded, not knowing. I replied, I have brought my car several times and need it for work. He became very upset fixing it then saying «don’t bring me your car anymore. Talking about bad customer service.

A good car mechanic shop is hard to find. Most places are filled with money hungry mechanics who will take advantage of people and will over charge or claim your car needs work when it really doesn’t. I’ve been taking my car to Erik for 8 years. In fact my whole family takes their cars to be serviced and fixed by Erik. He is detailed, honest and friendly. Many people feel the same way about this place, so expect to be waiting a while for your car. But when he does get your car done, you won’t feel ripped off, and your car will be as good as new. I’ve had work done on my car here that has cost me a fraction of what other mechanics have quoted me.

I Went to this shop today and Erik took care of my car he change the oil and tire rotation with help of his assistance and they made a good job with my car they tell you what your car needs to change… They are approachable too I used to go to my Dealer which is HONDA and they charge too much!!! Lucky found this place

I have been going to Metro Auto Service for more than 7 years. I take all my cars and refer all my friends to Erik. I have never ever been ripped off and he has always worked really hard to finish the work on time. He and his staff are very professional. DO NOT hesitate to contemplate on taking your car to him. You will not be disappointed with the level of service that you will receive. Just stop by and look at his shop and you will see that his shop is always full of cars. That should tell you something. I urge you to call your dealer and get a quote and see that Erik will be lower and will receive an honest opinion and will not nickel and dime you like other shops in the area.

My truck broke down in the neighborhood so I looked for a repair shop on Unilocal with good ratings in the area. the ratings work good for the shop so I decided to tow my truck there for repairs. my truck was repaired within an hour and back on the road. customer service was awesome and they have a small waiting room with air conditioning which was a plus. I didn’t even get to finish the book I was reading but I am glad there are still some good honest mechanics around. I will recommend this shop to anyone that I know in the East Los Angeles area.

Erick is very friendly and honest and knows what he’s doing. Great service for a great price.

Love this shop! I have had my car worked on by Erick for server all years. He is very knowledgable about cars… he doesn’t sell you want you don’t need. Recently he saved me a lot of money that would have been charged by the dealer. His shop is clean, he does excellent work, now he may take a little longer than expected, yet it’s well worth it! He is awesome! Highly recommend this place regularly to friends… and yes, it’s worth the drive no matter where you live.

After searching and searching I found my permanent mechanic, Eric is a humble cat, most of all honest and fair. He fixed my bmw, for a great price… don’t hesitate to go to him for your car services

Eric is great! I live in Fullerton at the moment, but work in downtown. I spent about an hour researching different mechanics and found a place in Little Tokyo, a Firestone in Huntington Park, and Metro Auto Service. The place in Little Tokyo overcharges, so I didn’t have my car fixed there. I called Metro Auto next and wasn’t sure about the place, so I went to Firestone instead to get my brake pads fixed. They used pads from a random maker rather than from Toyota, which is the maker of my car. Firestone took forever and it’s inconvenient from downtown LA. But, I made the decision to get my brakes fixed there, and had to live with it… at the time.
My bf is out of town and I wanted to be nice since he never has time to get his cars fixed. Since I didn’t have a great experience with Firestone, I decided to try out Metro Auto based on the reviews and price. For my bf’s two cars, I got three sets of brake pads fixed with actual Honda pads, and a set of front rotors replaced. Eric said the front pads were still good and did not need to be replaced. How honest!
I asked Eric several questions and he was not only knowledgeable, but also great at explaining everything to me. I also love how he keeps his place so clean! He has had this shop for around 12 years, but he’s been working on cars since he was 9 years old — I love asking questions.
I highly recommend him!

Good service! The guy is nice and honest. He did a tune up to my cart and change the transmission oil for a reasonable price. I’m a happy costumer! Definitely I’m coming back!

This place is no BS. They get the job done right and are more than fair with their pricing. I had them replace a brake line for me, when no one else in town wanted to touch it.
They were open and honest, and could teach a few lessons to anyone running an honest business. I will be sure to work with them again.

Got introduced to Erick today who did some minor work on my Infiniti M35. Good honest work, super reasonable cost, and fast! I will always go back if i need anything.

I called Eric ahead of time to have my the transmission replaced. I brought in my car yesterday around 10:30am and he had it ready before 3pm. My car runs and feels even better than before. Prices are very good and he is also very professional and corteous. Im definitely coming back here for any car related issues.
