Wilkinson the Butler (Rick Galiher) only trusts Maurice’s expert tailoring. Maurice is kind, quick and conscientious. He will leave you in stitches, never leave any loose ends and won’t have you hanging on by a thread. He won’t charge you an arm and a leg, he’ll just measure them. He’s near the corner of Robertson and Pico.

Quick, easy, friendly, professional. I brought a bridesmaids dress here to be altered and it was ready in 3 days. The prices were very reasonable and the work was good quality. Conveniently located in the heart of the Pico-​Robertson area. I will be bringing all of my clothes needing alterations here from now on!

Coincidentally, I went to Maurice’s when I was a kid. He was in Culver City at the time. My Mom would drop me off at his shop when she would go to the Scarlet Lady. So running into him all these years later brought back so many childhood memories. Needless to say, he does great work. Only thing that would make it better would it being free. Not sure if he gave me a discount or not, but I brought in a few suits and slacks to him. Total was less than a pair of slacks.
I usually do not write these things, but I had nothing else to do. I am sitting in his shop waiting for him to finish my jeans.
