Just got my hair done by Prudence and it turned out beyond my expectations. My hair is so hard to work with, I have a lot of hair and to top it of is thick. Prudence listen to what I wanted and totally nailed it. I have never walked out of a salon completely satisfied. This salon knows what they are doing very friendly and professional they make you feel right at home. :)

Prudence is the best! She really cares and makes you feel comfortable. I went through major changes with my hair, going from black to blonde, long to short. I had bleached blonde hair and she took me back to dark hair recently. My hair was extremely damaged from the bleach and she saved it’s life. She made my hair look great from the color to the texture. She is amazing at what she does! I highly recommend her and you can trust you’re in great hands.

These sisters are lovely and they make you feel at home. This is the best color I’ve had in a long time! I recommend this salon to all!

Where do i even start! I’ve been trying to find the perfect hair dresser for a while. I have dark thick long hair, so i understand that its not the easiest hair to work with. I’ve had such horrible experiences in the past with other places not being able to blow dry my hair properly or turning my hair orange/​brassy when trying to get highlights, and poor Marine I probably drove her crazy with my paranoia. I first went in for a cut and blowdry and LOVED it! Then we started talking about how i wanted to do ombré color to my hair. I was so scared because I have previously done so much damage to my hair, the last thing i wanted was for my hair to melt off lol. But she took the time to test a few strands for me to show me what the end result would look like and it went great! We went ahead and did the ombré and she also added a treatment in the color to help my damaged hair… and let me tell you… that treatment was a LIFESAVER! I use to spend sooo long in the shower just brushing out knots, and i dont have to do that anymore! Marine is just great and knows what shes doing.
Her and Prudence are so fun to talk to and be around, i feel like im just hanging out with my girls when I’m there.

I love Prudence! I found when she worked at another salon. I have been to MANY salons for blow drys, color, and keratin treatments. Prudence is the BEST hairdresser I have ever been too. Her blowdrying technique is AWESOME! Prudence has never burned me or my daughter with the blow dryer! I have a 5-​yearold girl. Prudence washes and blowdrys her hair as well. Sadly, our family relocated. The only person we miss is PRUDENCE! Wish we could have taken her with us! Love You Pru! MIss You ALways!

Marine is absolutely amazing at the work she does! I love the way she cuts, colors, and styles my hair. I’ve been following Marine for years now and I’m glad she has a stable salon now that I can come in and do my hair. I recently dyed my hair red and she gave me great advice about how I should wash it and make it long lasting. My hair has faded but it’s fade nicely into a red ombré it doesn’t look orange at all. I will def be back but maybe go back to my blonde. Thank you Marine you are incredible!

Prudence is a PRO! She is the only one in LA I trust for my base/​highlight. I have naturally dark hair and she keeps me blonde and fresh! I highly recommend her services! I love this salon and I love Prudence! It was a long, exhausting road finding my «go-​to» hair stylist since moving to LA, but I definitely found her in Prudence. She’s been working on me for a little while now, and I’m always so happy whenever I leave the salon. She always listens to what I want and she makes it happen. The salon itself is super cute, clean, and has a lot of character. Can’t wait for the grand opening!

I absolutely love Prudence. I’ve been following her since her Aveda school days and another salon and now here. She’s done my color — highlights, roots, you name it. Always thoughtful, well executed and natural looking. She’s also given me great hearcuts– with bangs and without. Love her! Give her a try! Her prices are generally quite reasonable too.

I was born a brunette but everyone thinks I’m a natural born blonde! Francesca is a true artist and her highlights are stellar. No joke, she really is a ceramic artist and her beautiful pieces adorn her quaint and intimate salon The same attention she applies to her art — she will give to you! I have 4 different colors of blonde woven through my hair and the result is stunning. I travel all over the world and whenever I stop in to another salon for a blow out — the stylists consistently flip out over my color!!! She is hands down the best for buttery, luxurious, «California blonde» color. Incredible value — outstanding service ! Run — don’t walk! You won’t regret it :)

I just wanted to update my review as I’m still a faithful and super happy customer of Francesca’s and Lloyd Windsor and cannot rave enough about this salon! They take care of their clients like we are family.
Not only does my hair get the BEST of care, but Francesca always makes time to fit me in. As an actor, I often get last minute auditions and sometimes when it’s time to get those roots updated, I try to stretch out the span of time a little bit, but if there’s a big on-​camera audition, Francesca makes sure to get me in before my audition (she always makes the time for me) so my color and cut look fresh and I feel awesome going in and booking the job!!!
It’s little touches like that that make this salon stand out from any others as there are a lot of good places in LA to get your hair done. But great color, cut AND VIP service for really reasonable prices is really a gem to find in this city! And with such lovely people as Francesca and Heather, it’s so rare! I love these ladies!!! Also, they sell some really good shampoos & conditioners that help my color last longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LLOYD WINDSOR SALON!!!

Seriously though, I love Lloyd Windsor, the ladies that work here, the clientele that comes here, the way I look when I leave here. I used to go to the «best of beverly hills» places, and they don’t even come close to these ladies. I dye my hair a lot, and whatever they use, they actually make my hair healthier. Plus, they can take perfect direction or can totally wing it (I love to ask Francesca to surprise me!)
They’ve seen me at my worst, over-​bleached, about to break hair, and with a little trim and color correction, it’s like my hair was never over-​processed to begin with. And it’s a fun place! It feels like I’m going to visit family when I come here. Since I was 13, I’ve been hopping around town to find a place that really does hair well. I have that 2 appointment ritual. 1^st time they mess up, I chalk it up to miscommunication, 2^nd time, I say «whelp, time to move on.» I found this place 7 years ago? and from the very first appointment, I was 100% satisfied.
Finally, I shaved my head in a britney spears mini meltdown, and Francesca? She made sure that my hair grew out, never facing that awkward-​length phase. So yeah, if there is one place to go to, it’s Lloyd Windsor. I trust them with my hair and my gossip. I’d even trust them with my dog.

i have been going to francesca for years and cannot say enough about her, her salon and her abilities with color and cut. she is truly a chemist when it comes to blondes. her shades are subtle and beautiful and i constantly get compliments on my hair after highlights. she truly knows every shade of blonde and what specific hues work with your face and color. her cuts also are always perfect.
the salon is warm and serene and welcoming from the busy world. i feel so lucky to have found such a great place that i always walk out of feeling beautiful. thank you francesca and heather!

Just received my second haircut from Francesca. I think I finally found a hairstylist! This women is an artist, literally. It is always difficult to really determine how your hair will do after a new cut, but all I can say is when the style not only looks great after the cut but after I get home as well and I can work with it so that I dont need to spend my life blowdrying. That is an artist that knows hair! Love my cut

Francesca has been my hairstylist for over ten years. She graduated from Vidal Sassoon in London. I came to her with distressed blond hair and she was able to transform them into gorgeous platinum blond locks. As a brunette, I always had a dream to have this color, and she made it come true. Over the years I have gone to her for all shades between blond and brunette, short and long and I always leave happy and feeling beautiful. Francesca and her mom are elegant women, and always provide a pleasurable experience and a top notch overall service.

After years of highlighting my super-​fine hair at an unnamed BH salon, it was left in awful condition –so I began looking for someone that specialized in blonde hair and could help me get healthy. I was so lucky to find Francesca, she truly saved me! Her color is ammonia-​free, she is an expert colorist and she is truly an artist. She has given me so many tips on how to take care of my hair that have helped me immensely.

Lloyd Windsor is like an amazing meal that has been prepared with very simple, yet impeccable ingredients.
These women know what they are doing, and will give you a beautiful blond color, that never disappoints. Francesca is the best blond colorist i’ve found in LA. I have been coming to this salon for years and I always appreciate the care, thought, and workmanship these wonderful women put in.

This is the best kept salon secret in town! This shabby-​chic-​esque salon boutique is owned by a mother-​daughter duo who make you look fabulous. I’ve been going to them for over 10 years and haven’t looked back. I’ve tried many salons in Los Angeles, but know one has mastered the art of hair better than Francesca and Heather. Heather gives me the perfect hair cut each time and Francesca whips up a gorgeous custom color to compliment my skin tone. I feel right at home as they transform my hair into its new look. They are such sweethearts too. Even though I recently moved away, I will ONLY go to Lloyd-​Windsor to cut my hair. I fly back every few months to visit family and of course get my perfect hair do! Now that’s a statement of their impeccable talent. These ladies are hands down the best stylists/​colorists in L.A.

Owned by a british woman and her American daughter, you will undoubtedly feel comfortable in this small, boutique salon. Park easily on the street, get a latte at a cute little coffee shop next door, and then leisure over to the clean, shabby chic-​esque salon. Francesca, the daughter, does most of the work, and the salon is well known for their blond color, which is supposed to keep the hair healthier than typical bleach. Their signature blond is on the yellowy-​gold side, rather than the whitish or strawberry blond, and seems to keep the hair pretty healthy. I’ve had them do a medium brown and a dark brown, with pretty mediocre results, and a TON of fading. The red I’ve seen done are not up to my standards, so I wouldn’t recommend them for that.
I came to Lloyd Windsor after that it-​will-​never-​happen-​to-​me hair cut, when I literally had a mullet. Don’t believe me? Message me, I will show you footage of that shit. It was terrible. Anyways, they seemed legit, and I forked over more than $ 200 for them to fix my awful cut and do a single process. Francesca salvaged my cut, and gave me a really cute, shoulder length cut that was really manageable, which i still am soo grateful for. In subsequent visits, I had great and ok cuts, but ended up going somewhere else because it was just too expensive for the result. From my experience, it’s something like $ 60 for a blow dry, easily $ 250 for a full highlight, $ 80 for a cut and $ 100 for a single, but check their site to make sure. As far as hair products go, they are big fans of Schwarzkopf OSIS products. Bring coins for street parking, which is 2 hours, and plan on refilling, because it takes a long time.
