I think they they couldn’t care less about what and how they serve here. If your in the hotel you really do not have any other options and they treat you accordingly

Best eggs Benedict’s that I’ve had here in a long time. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Add that to Arturo’s outstanding service makes this an easy five stars!

Ordered the Flat Iron steak for $ 21… awful. This place was worse the Sizzler. The restaurant at the Crown Plaza in San Pedro is not that bad, but the hotel is not as nice… What’s strange about this place is the hotel appears to be nicer but even a glance at the menu tells you that this place is a Denny’s with Cheesecake Factory prices… Definitely not recommended… Go up the street to 22nd street landing. And the chairs are AWFUL.

If we are starving and don’t care about service, we end up here because it is close to the marina for us. Otherwise, don’t waste your time. Sorry, nice people but nothing worth your time here. Kind of a step above high school cafeteria.

Marina Bar & Grill is the on-site restaurant at San Pedro’s Doubletree Hotel. In its capacity as a hotel restaurant, it meets your general expectations. I took a glance at the menu and saw most of the eclectic tourist favorites that you’d expect to see, as well as some dishes with a decidedly Italian twist. You can’t go very wrong with any dish choice. Even if you do, the spectacular view of the Cabrillo marina will make up for it. Along the other side of the room you’ll find the Bar. Along with the generic restaurant bar furnishings, you’ll find another amazing view. This space also overlooks a small nook used for weddings on the hotel’s grounds. Surprisingly, drink prices were much less than I’ve come to expect for Hilton properties. I might not go out of my way to pay this place a visit, but I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to guests of the property.
