Buffalo NY singer/​songwriter Margot Lane was given her first keyboard at age 8 and started to write out melodies and lyrics. She spent many years studying classical music on piano and within those years furthered studies on violin at age 16.

Margot studied piano at Woodshed Music School and with local instructors including «The W» a hammond B3 legend –Jimmy Wozniak.

In 2009, Margot started projects including fronting the «Murderous Moppets». A band centered on mixing classic pop/​rock with folk rock. This propelled a solo instrumental music project called «The Lethean Files» which is now on Itunes, Amazon mp3, and Spotify as well as several other distributors.

Since moving to LA Margot has worked on scores, became a keyboard tech for Sir Elton John, and played live with some of the best musicians. Including playing on a soundtrack for the movie «With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story», opening for Dave Lombardo’s (Slayer)side band, Fantomas, playing consistently with The Fullerton Coll
