Was just looking around for a quick breakfast joint while walking fashion district. Food looked pretty good and like a hole in the wall I love. Also the fact it’s been around for 30 years helped the decision. Ordered the huevos rancheros since you can’t go wrong with that. Was made quick and the sauce used to top the eggs was excellent. It didn’t have the cheap pseudo-chili like other places. The owner, Juan was very nice and approachable. I usually don’t make a point to talk to lots of people but Juan was cool. Apparently the place’s speciality is Peruvian so I plan to come and try it out.

It’s called a coffee shop, and I’m sure there is an interesting story to its management. But more importantly, it’s delicious. A mixture of Mexican and Peruvian food! The saltado is amazing. The tacos are perfect. The rice is fluffy. Everything is made before your eyes. The shack it’s housed in might give you pause, but look right passed that. The staff are genuine and kind and the food is outstanding. It’s a must visit in the fashion district.

Where do I start with this place!!! When I first found this place was with my wife while shopping in the Alley’s. We were not trying to eat a street dog so we walked around and stumbled upon this place and I’m SOGLADWEDID!!! I had the Lomo Saltado. The quality of meat was so good… you could taste it was not your average cut of meat. It was topped with grilled onions and potatoes and a side of white rice. Plenty of food and by far something you would not expect in the alley’s downtown. My wife had the Pechugas De Pollo and it was chicken breast w/grilled onions and mushrooms. It was served w/sides of ranch style beans with a smokey flavor and fluffy rice. It also came with the house guacamole which is like a salsa… BOMB!!! The owner talked us into a side of made to order guacamole. It was fresh avocado, lime, salt & pepper… PERFECT! We come to the Alley’s allot and will definitely make this our MUSTGOTO place to EAT! The quality of food and service was outstanding!

Those fish tacos were amazing! The fish was perfectly fried and all the ingredients tasted really fresh and crisp. I want to go back to try the Lomo Saltado! The horchata tasted really homey too and was super milky. Yummmmmm.

Yay a place in the fashion district that has seafood! I’ve been working in the building around the corner for over a year now and I always overlook this place… DON’T OVERLOOKTHISPLACE! This HITW(hole in the wall) has the sweetest workers. Ready to assist you with smiles on their faces. I asked what name of the place was because there was no sign! And he gave me a business card :) If somehow you can’t find it, it’s the little structure in between 2 parking lots. A random spot but somehow they’ve managed to make it cozy. Inside you will find a big flat screen TV. When I was there, it was on the futbol game!(+10 pts!) Though a bit pricey, I am a fan of their fish tacos.($ 3 for one) They are fresh and fried to order. ALSO, they have some homemade chili-oil sauce, much like you’d find in Chinese restaurants, on deck. Topped that in my fish taco and BAM. It’s over. Too yummy for words. I will be back. +They are open early and serve all sorts of breakfast!
