Great burgers I would recommend the cheese burger basket. They are always friendly and talkative. They rush to get you your food hot and fresh. They also do Mexican food and salads. A lil of everything.

Honestly one of the worst breakfast burritos I’ve ever had:/ and that hurts to say cause I love breakfast burritos. It’s so small and comes with no sides. I think it ended up being $ 6 something or $ 7. They charge for everything too. Only came here cause of the reviews but won’t come again. It was just small and flavorless. Nice staff tho. That’s where the 2 stars kick in.

Mexican food and burgers, usually I’m skeptical, but here it works. Think fast food for both. Reasonable prices. Had their flautas which weren’t half bad. I would have preferred them a little crispier and cooked more. The beans tasted more like refried beans from a can, but all in all, I consider this to be more like Taco Bell. Okay, but not spectacular. Just something for a quick bite.

I’ve been dinning at lucky guys burgers for the last 15 years since I was 14 years old and i would characterize this burger/mexican joint as serving very consistent and delicious food! The service is impeccable, the employees make you feel at right home, greeting you every time you walk in the door, it’s like a fucking episode of cheers!!! Specifically Alex, one of the fry cooks, he goes out of his way to get to know you, without being intrusive! The food is amazing, and yet their biggest asset is their genuine willingness to customize your food. I’ve been on a low carb diet and they prepared me the best protein style burger I’ve ever had, better than in n out and Carls Jr! The seasoning on the meat was perfect, and the lettuce and other ingredients were fresh and crisp! If any of y’all are ever in the neighborhood I recommend you give this a try, it’ll earn your business for sure!

Their Chilaquiles(green) are so good. Ordering over the phone is never a problem. I have been going to this place on and off for about 10 years. The only thing that has really changed is the fact that their portions are smaller, however, I am okay with the portions being smaller. I

So, you find yourself on the east side of Los Angeles in the City of Commerce. You’re wanting something to eat… but, you don’t know where… Not feeling MickyD’s or any of the other corporate guys. Not I your«Raza», «hood», «neck of the woods»… Well, WHEN in Rome… do as the Romans would do! How about a breakfast buritto or a Pastrami quesdillia! You have come to the right place! Just a couple of my humble recommendation… The Suicide Breakfast Burrito: ham, bacon, sausage,…(YES! all three) refried beans, hash brown potatoes, scrambled eggs, and wonderful chile verde salsa to wake you up! Pastrami Quesdilla: generous portion of pastrami nestled inside a cheese filled flour tortilla topped with avocado slices and sour cream. Paid the extra and get more of that tasty chile verde sauce… and if you’re lucky chunks of meat will be in it! Local tip: Look to load up on the pickle jalapeños and carrots made on site! Most excellent! Red salsa is spicy, so watch it! Delicious flashed fried jalapeños to tease the taste buds. All of the breakfast combos are just value fill.
But not feeling like the breakfast thing at 09:30 am. No worries, THIS ain’t a «MickyDs… great lunch and dinner items on the menu too. One body gets left behind here. So order up and enjoy.

I came here because I really liked the location in Downey. I played it safe and got a hamburger combo. I called it in and when I arrived a few minutes later, it was hot and ready for me. I asked for the roasted peppers and the nice(and cute) guy behind the counter had some freshly made for me. Then the nice(and cute) guy walked the peppers over to me. :-) The burger and fries were OK. The peppers were tasty(and hot!!!) The restaurant itself is the«run of the mill» looking, nothing special. I like that I can pour my own drink because I like a lot of ice. I saw on the menu they have caldo de res(beef soup). Gotta try that next time! Overall, a decent place.

Great food and super nice friendly service. I think it is family owned and they take pride in their food/service. A great mom and pop place. They even have a plasma TV that often shows soccer. Lastly, this is a Mexican/Gringo hybrid restaurant, serving Mexican food and hamburgers.

Started going here a few weeks ago after a visit to my doctor on Atlantic/Washington. Had cheeseburger & fries which were great but now I’ve tried something I like a lot more. Saw a guy eating some soup and he told me it was excellent. Today I ordered the beef and vegetable soup(cocido), large for $ 7.50, and it was amazing! HUGE bowl with chunks of beef, potato, tomato, cabbage, carrots, celery, etc. It even had chayote! Came with a side of rice, onions, cilantro, and lemon wedges. Just GREAT! Too big for one meal, eating the rest tonight. Definitely my new favorite place for cocido. Super friendly staff and Chef Edgar is very proud of his soup, and justifiably so. Anxious to try more dishes!

Suicide burrito did not make me feel like it was time to end it all. It was tasty but I still prefer Lucky Boy breakfast burritos over Lucky Guy’s Burgers. The location is also out of my area so I will probably not drive out there again. Thank you anyways :)

Dang. I was feeling lucky and feeling like a burger would hit the spot. I was in the area for work and decided to stop by here. Note to self: If a place serves enchiladas, tacos, burritos and burgers… don’t get the damn burger! The burger just didn’t hit the spot. Which is weird. The patty was just meh. The staff there were awesome though. Very friendly and made the food quickly. I’ll definitely try this place again if works bring me out this way. But next time I’m going for the breakfast burrito.

This spot has breakfast, burgers, mexican food, sandwiches, salads, and even smoothies and bionicos… def a Mexican spot as. they add a jalapeño to every order! It’s nice too that they bring your order to your table and don’t just yell out a number even though this is a regular burger spot!

What is up with this madness??? So many customers and such few reviews? Lucky Guys boasts the best Breakfast Burritos in California, and for the following reasons: 1)They stuff them with crispy hashed browns 2)The salsa has shreds of tender stewed meat in it(I’ve never had a green salsa like this before in my life) 3)The burritos are stuffed with beans and lots of stringy cheese!!! (see pic) I think that the inventor of this burrito talks to God because this is such an amazing creation. It’s like your favorite bean and cheese burrito stuffed with your favorite breakfast(eggs, crisp bacon, hashed browns) and a meaty green salsa to go with it. The other things on the menu I recommend are their cheeseburgers, Salsa Verde burritos, and«Sizzling Fajitas»(they bring it out in a hot skillet and it’s still blazin and making all this sizzling ruckus. It’s really fun). Their food really makes you feel like that special lucky guy/girl your grandma always taught you to believe you were(when in reality you were fucking ugly).
