Louise has a unique and intuitive ability to combine colors, materials and textures, creating wearable works of art. All hats are handmade and trimmed with the finest ribbons, flowers, feathers and crystals. Utilizing an extensive collection of vintage blocks (hat shapes), the designs mirror current trends through their color, adornment and workmanship.

Louise Green creates romantic custom and couture ladies hats as well as women’s contemporary hats, cloches, fedoras, pillbox hats, berets, picture hats, church hats, dress hats, special occasion hats, straw hats, felt hats, wedding hats, hats for Kentucky Derby and Royal Ascot, fascinators and Mr. Green mens hats. History

Established in 1987.

Established in 1987 Louise Green Millinery grew from Louise’s creativity, skills with her hands, eye for fashion & passion for vintage. On the living room floor of her two bedroom Santa Monica Bungalow, Louise started out re-​trimming vintage hats and selling to local consignment stores. As the hats sold, Louise began studying millinery at the local community colleges and eventually with the most well respected private instructors in the Los Angeles area.

Praised by the press, Louise Green hats were featured in magazines, newspapers, television & film.

Sales grew on the west coast with the addition of a west coast representative. Soon after Louise & Lawrence, her husband & business partner, took the hats to the New York trade shows. With the success, the business soon moved into a larger facility and eventually to its’ current 6000 s.f. location. Today at the studio, Louise is still an integrally involved prolific designer.
