Los Angeles DJ Sam House

I was out in Cali for a wedding and the people got Dj Sam House to do the music and he was really good. He is the best dj in LA California. And theres tons of djs there so its hard to be the best. The only problem is the old people wanted to hear classic music and they were paying for everything so he could not play the good music that most normal people like. But he has really good mixers and speakers and dresses however you want him to. I was talking with him alot and I want him to DJ at a party for me this summer so I know how the whole thing works and he can play any kind of music.

Sam House ROCKS!!! If you are looking for DJ look no further. He’s friendly, shows up early, and plays great music, and knows how to make a party FUN!!!

We had Sam’s sidekick Phil as our DJ and we couldn’t have been happier with how it all went. Firstly the onsite process to select your songs and submit the timeline etc is a useful tool. There was great communication along the way on the day where Phil checked with us at each stage to ensure all the ‘events’ throughout the evening (cake cutting, first dance etc) ran on schedule and followed exactly what we requested. His energy and friendliness and of course the music were exactly what we were hoping for and set the scene for a great party! Would highly recommend!

I wanted to make sure to give Sam a review so everyone could potentially make the great decision I did and hire him for their event. It should be proof positive that he is stellar considering that I got married 10 months ago, and still made sure I finally found time to post a review.
My wedding went off excellently, and it’s in no small part, thanks to Sam. He played the tunes we asked for, he was great on the fly changing playlists he had planned as needed throughout the night. My Uncle is also a professional singer, and was perfectly at home working with Sam throughout the night intermittently performing live songs that were special to us, and made all of our guests have an extra special and unique experience. I would hire Sam again in a moment, and I hope everyone reading this does too :-)

DJ Sam is fantastic! He dj’d our wedding 2 weeks ago. He did a phenomenal job at integrating our favorite tunes into his recommended playlist, and he was a terrific MC — he kept the party moving without being intrusive. Everyone was dancing! Even my 20-​something kids got over being terminally cool and got out on the dance floor. And he figured out the perfect time and music for our cake cutting, bouquet toss and garter throw, and even found Elvis’s Hawaiian wedding song for one of my best friends to do a surprise hula to. I can’t recommend him enough!

I’m so glad I found Sam. He worked a birthday party for my wife at our home. He’s a pleasure to work with. And plays whatever you ask for. He kept our party thoroughly entertained! Thanks again. We will always use him again

DJ Sam is amazing. He dj’ed at our wedding last saturday and couldnt be more happier. He was super fun and entertaining! We cant thank him enough! I highly recommend him to host and dj any party, you wont be disappointed.

We used Sam for our daughter’s sweet 16 party. He was easy to work with and exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely fantastic that he could get the entire banquet room dancing (young & old). Sam was awesome! He is super sweet, really talented and ensured that we had a blast at our wedding. He’s very personable and did a great job MC’ing too! I had lots of people come up to me to tell me that he is playing all their favorite songs, and that the music was amazing! He has a wide range of music and customizes everything to your taste. He was also very easy to work with and organized. He was able to mix in 2 first dance songs skillfully! Overall, a wonderful experience, and highly recommended.

Sam is awesome! He MC/DJ’d our wedding earlier this year and everything went extremely well! Sam was super easy to work with, easy to reach when questions came up, and accommodated all of our requests. Our wedding was a blast and it wouldn’t have been so without Sam! We used Sam as our DJ/​MC for our wedding this May and he was great. I live on the East Coast and planned everything from there and Sam was more than professional and accommodating to meet and speak with us at the drop of a hat when we were in town. What we love about him is that he is also a real DJ and really knows his stuff (unlike some ‘DJs’ that put on an iTunes playlist and pretend to spin). He kept the flow going and had our guests on the dance floor all night. Highly recommend!

Sam is an awesome person to work with. We used him for our wedding. He is very technology savvy and his website makes it so easy to create a personalized event. You can hand select all your songs, even songs you don’t want to hear. Or if you prefer you can just give him a specific style of music and he can create it. He played everything we requested. He was good a ordering the songs to keep people dancing. We also used him to set up microphones/​speakers for our ceremony/​cocktail hour. He was very professional and took care of all our needs. We are very happy with his services. He even threw in some lights for our reception since he noticed it needed a little more! I would highly recommend him!

Sam DJ’d our wedding yesterday! He is a consummate professional, his website is full of wedding planning tips, and he had 99% of my chosen songs in his catalog and got whatever else I wanted. He was always available by phone and email and helped with my occasional wedding planning-​related anxiety attack. As for the wedding, he played all my songs just at the right times, was super friendly to everyone, and he gave me veto power over some dubious song requests. I plan on this being my only wedding, but if I have another one, I hope Sam is still around!

DJ Sam House was the MC/​DJ for our wedding this summer. He was GREAT! We did one of his packages that also came with lighting (which was very well-​done). During the planning stages he had a huge list of songs for us to choose from, and we could send him any other special/​custom songs we wanted played as well. He had a schedule with every moment/​event and what music we wanted to play at that time. It really helped us organize our wedding day and made it run smoothly.
On the day-​of he worked with our videographer, officiant, and caterer to make sure the sound and music worked perfectly. He played a fantastic dance mix, took requests, and was just the right amount of fun & energetic throughout the event. He also deserves major bonus points for taking special care to pronounce everyone’s names correctly. So glad we hired DJ Sam House for our wedding and I highly recommend him to everyone!

We hired Sam to be the DJ for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah and he had MC Tre work with him. We could not have asked for a better team! Sam did an excellent job with the music selection and Tre kept all the kids (and adults) entertained and dancing. Everyone had a wonderful time and I received lots of compliments about Sam and Tre. Sam did an excellent job of up-​lighting the room as the theme was «Under the Sea». He also added some lighting for the dance floor. The overall effect was perfect.
Part of the reason for hiring Sam was his professionalism and making sure that we were comfortable throughout the whole process. He has an excellent website that helps with planning from two years out, to the day before the event. It was very helpful and cut down on some of the stress. His pricing is excellent and high quality. He did a great job with showing the video montage of our daughter that we had created and worked with us to try and avoid any technical difficulties. It was flawless.
Sam and his team would be a great choice for wedding, Bar/​Bat Mitzvah or any other special event. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to a friend.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, my goal was to keep things simple and easy. Honestly, hiring a DJ was last on my list and we even considered not having one at all. Our venue, Happy Trails Catering, recommended Sam, so I thought I’d check his website out and see. Boy am I glad I did. He has a great website that explains everything and gives you an instant quote, that alone was a huge plus since most of the websites I had seen had no information or prices. I liked that you can go to the site get lots of info and get a price for exactly what you need. So I got my quote and was even happier to find that he had great rates (very important to a bride on a budget!), I still wasn’t sure about hiring him so I called him and within 5 minutes of our conversation I knew he was perfect for our wedding. This is why, Sam has a way of making you feel like you have known him forever, like he is an old friend that you called to catch up with. He is easy to talk to, funny and very personable at the same time being very professional about what he does, so right away I thought he is exactly the type of person I want DJ’ing our wedding, so I hired him.
Fast forward to the wedding day. It was a perfect day all around but I must say having Sam there made it even better. He kept things running smoothly throughout the day, working with my other vendors and us making sure to do things as we had planned. The music was perfect, we got compliments on the music during cocktail hour and dinner. I was very happy. The best part was when the dancing began, we had a small wedding and I wasn’t sure if any of our guests would even dance when the time came. Sam did it, I don’t know how but he got them all dancing, cousins and aunts that I had never seen dance before were out there having a blast, it was great! The music was perfect and Sam was great at knowing what to play to keep the party going. I loved looking over and seeing Sam with his headphones on doing his thing and seeing everyone having so much fun, even the venue staff in the kitchen dancing as they worked with huge smiles. Sam House is awesome and I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family, and will call him again for any event where we need a DJ– you should too, you won’t regret it!

I have to say that DJ Sam is truly the best! I’ve had the opportunity to work at several weddings with Sam, and also to attend an event as a guest with DJ Sam as the DJ! He’s professional, fun, and just all around great! I defiantly recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ!!!

We hired Sam to DJ our wedding and he did a great job. He was very professional and easy to work with– and most importantly, he was able and willing to work through all the surprises and issues that we threw at him.
