Sarah and Denny, the owner, are the wonderful and fun people that run this little salon. I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Sarah for almost a year now.
I probably get a haircut three times a year because I’m neurotic about having my hair long and well, to be honest, a bit lazy. I have a huge mane of long thick hair which I am slightly protective of, yet frustrates me at times because it is so plain. So it was finally time to go and I was was recommended by a friend to go see Sarah for the first time, I made an appointment for the next day.
Sarah is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away, and asks about your lifestyle and your ideas for hair style and color. I pretty much said «go crazy… within reason» I just said I want to keep my hair relatively long and no crazy colors like purple or green, but other than that I’ll let the professionals do their thing.
Sarah did an great job with layering my long thick hair so that it wasn’t so heavy and gave it some movement and texture. I had messed up old highlights which I thought would be troublesome for dying my hair, but she ended up toning them to give my hair more dimension and then did a masterful and subtle full head ombré fade, which I always get compliments on from my friends that haven’t seen me in a while.
Not only is she talented with both color and cut (and I can be extremely picky with my long layered thick hair), but she was friendly and such a sweetheart. My mom and all friends all have have Sarah do their cuts and color now as well.
PS — Sarah and Denny tell your other clients they need to post some reviews, those slackers.
PPS — Make sure you make an appointment! This is a small salon and they are very accommodating but there are only two stylists so be sure call ahead and make sure to book a time.

I have really fine hair, and for some reason, most people have a hard time cutting it. I am really picky about it. Denni understands how to cut my hair, and does a fantastic job! I have been to half a dozed hairdressers in the last year and a half, and Denni has given me the best haircut by far! He listens, and most importantly, when you tell him to cut an inch, he cuts an inch! I highly recommend him. If you are looking to save money, for $ 45, he will cut your hair, (if you show up with clean, wet hair). You just have to ask him about it.

Love Denni, and love the way he made my hair look. Great color, great trim on the first try. I hardly had to tell him anything and he nailed it. So glad we have someone so good right here in town.

Just got back from getting my hair done and I keep getting compliments! The staff is wonderful and very skilled. I love the ambiance, it’s such a hidden treasure in Palisades; it’s like walking into an oasis! All I can is that I’m a very picky client and I would definitely recommend anybody here.
What I got done today by Soodi: Haircut (longhair), few Highlights and a blowdry… all worth the money!
And Denny, the owner, is so professional, accommodating and friendly!
