do NOT go to this doctor unless you want to deal with a rude and arrogant doctor. He saw my mom who doesn’t speak English very well — hence me writing this review for her — and he never told us that her insurance wouldn’t cover any of her doctor visit. He ordered an xray to be done that day (which he also didn’t check to see if she was covered) and now we’re going to have an exorbitant bill to pay for everything. He was so rude when we told him that the office never told us that none of this would be covered. I have never dealt with an office or doctor like Dr. Joseph Loewy — the office should ALWAYS call the insurance company to make sure that the patient is covered for any/​all procedures. I’ve worked at a doctor’s office before as well and one of my responsibilities was to call all patients’ insurance companies to make sure that they were covered and if not then let the patient know what they would have to cover themselves. We even had to cancel a very important and timely surgery for tomorrow because we just found out that she wasn’t covered for any of this.
Don’t waste your time going to see this doctor. Not only does he not know how to treat his patients but he just doesn’t care.

I had a great experience with both Dr. Lowey and his staff. The wait time was short and Dr. Lowey was so explanatory about what could possibly be going on with me; he even drew diagrams :). He and his staff were both very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed for my next steps in this process.
