Came here at night and IT WAS AWESOME. The service is hybrid so you grab a menu and order at the front. If you sit barside a bartender can take your order. I love the cheese sausage.
The beer is good and I like the vibe.
BUT THEN A COUPLE WEEKS AFTER… I met up with a friend at the bar so she could watch the game. I don’t know if it was because it was the morning or something but the bartender on shift was really rude. She disrespected me and inserted herself when I was joking with my friend. Talking about if I was with her. There were 3 people including me sitting there. Of fucking course I was.
The service minimally was there but she was obviously checked out. I can tell she was trying to be nice but honestly it was all off-​putting. Her attitude towards me was a stark contrast to when other male patrons came in to watch football. Wow, sorry I’m not a regular. Sorry I’m not a male. I don’t know if she had issues with females or she doesn’t feel like females don’t tip (I tip 20%) as well as guys do or if I didn’t care that football was on or whatever. (I know the all the rules of football by the way) but I did want to have food and beer and see my friend.
The food was inconsistent because the previous time it was all good and this time the food wasn’t. Fries were overcooked, toppings were just in excess and shalacked on. (C’mon, does anyone want a whole cup of onions?!) This happened a few weeks ago but for some reason I’m still completely bothered. I’m never coming back.
I used to be a server. I was also a line cook. I know how everyone should get treated whether it’s a busy shift or not. I know that the first plate all the way up to the last plate needs to be good. If it’s dead, the food should have had more attention.
The reason I went here the second time was because I really liked it but now I’m completely turned off to this place.

I came across this spot with my friend he wanted to have a drink… And we ordered the Deez nachos the bar tender recommended them as we’re eating we find a hair curly and gross like a pubic hair I do not recommend this place unless you want to have hair on your food!

The beer selection is great and the vegan sausages are incredibly tasty. I particularly liked the spicy vegan sausage.

Friendly service. Great food. GREAT late night happy hour. This is embarrassing but after we initially ordered I continued ordering more and more it was so delicious. The fries (add blue cheese is a must) you really can’t go wrong with the sauces they are all awesome but it depends on your taste.
The bartender was so friendly (without going over the top) I also noticed that he was equally nice and friendly to those coming in later (11:15pm when HH ended at 11:30) so many places in LA the staff will ice you out. He was so welcoming! Really cool spot. I don’t watch sports but they had at least 5 TV’s with games on. I would imagine it would be a great place to catch a game. Oh and they have turbo tap (or at least I think they do) the beer I had tonight was the crispest (if that’s a word) tasting I have had in so long.

Long time resident of Atwater village and decided to bring a small group of people for beers and appetizers. I was a bit put back by the bartender, might’ve been an Armenian dude who was quite rude and a bit of a smart ass. Maybe he’s the owner or maybe just a bartender. I let it go and ended up having a great time. The rest of the staff were super friendly and talkative. We also had the sausage platter with spicy ranch. Delicious. Not too pricey at all and will definitely come back. To the guy with the beard; Don’t be such a dick. It’s not cool especially if I’m coming to you as a patron with the intent of giving you business. You know who you are.

Have been coming to this place for awhile now and it definitely deserves my review. Great place for a beer and food!

Great for vegetarians/​vegans with lots of options food wise to choose from. Meat eaters don’t worrie great larger selection for you as well!
The beer list is always rotating with a very decent selection of beers on tap. I like to try all kinds of different beers so this is good!
I have had a lot of other vegi dogs/​brats/​sausages and I would have to say the ones here are top on my list!
All my friends I have brought here love this place as well. Great atmosphere to grab a bite n a drink to unwind from the day!

Man, you need to order two to get full even though their is a lot of bread. But that’s relative to the amount of sausage — which wasn’t that impressive.
My Duck & Bacon w/​Jalapeño (8.95) didn’t have much of a kick.
Munich Style Pretzel (6.50) was no good and worth $ 3. Came out hot. The beer cheese sauce was an additional $ 1 and was plain nacho cheese. It was a poor attempt.
Fun space for sports/​beer fans, but doesn’t hit the spot in terms of food.

This place is overpriced and the service is always underwhelming. I mean if I’m gonna pay 9 dollars for a beer you would think they would be a little more friendly.

I had the Smoked Portuguese Hawaiian Sausage with grilled onions and cheddar cheese. The sausage was very flavorful, but it’s one of those slightly sweeter ones which I actually like. It actually tasted better without the hot dog bun. The bread is thicker than the usual hot dog bun, so it seemed to mask the flavor of the sausage. I also had the Grapefruit Cider, which was really refreshing, and the grapefruit flavor wasn’t too overpowering.
The employee who took our order was really friendly, provided her recommendations, and was patient when we were ordering because it was our first time here. They have other exotic sausages like wild boar or duck among others. You can choose from different toppings to add to your sausage, and you can choose to eat it with or without the bun. They also have a diverse list of beer on tap. I would come back again if I’m craving a hearty sausage.

I came here on a Wednesday night with a group of friends and we split a few sausage platters — traditional, exotic & vegan — that we paired with beers from their vast craft beer selection (get the S.N.A.F.U.!) I loved that there were a ton of different sausages to choose from and the condiment selection is off the chain (I’m a huge condiment junkie!).
Best part of the night? Wednesdays are trivia night! We had the most wonderful time indulging in goodies while having a super fun time competing against the other tables at the bar. Highly reccommended!
PRO-​TIP: Happy hour is Mon — Thurs from 4pm — 7pm ;)

What a great place in Atwater Village! The vibe is fun and the ambiance is so fitting (different beer signs made in metal all over the walls). Great beer selections and happy hour runs every day, but different times on the weekends.
The sausages are top notch. They have everything from exotic to regular. They even have a vegan option!
This is also one of the few places that show Dodgers games! Big TVs places all over so you won’t miss a play!

Such a cool vibe here! We came on Wednesday Trivia Night and it was so much fun! Great selection of sausage links from mild to wild, from Vegan to buffalo to rattlesnake, and everything in-​between! Paired with their extensive selection of beers, and it’s a winning combo!
Great food with friendly service always makes me happy!

Link N Hops is my new favorite local watering hole! With an extensive craft beer selection and a variety of delicious and unique sausages from rattlesnake to vegan, you’ll be sure to find something for even the pickiest of palates. The atmosphere is fun with live music Monday, Bingo Tuesday and Trivia Wednesday. Don’t forget that there two Happy Hours Monday through Thursday!
Pro-​tip: there’s free parking in their parking lot!

The place has a very chill vibe. The wine bar next door is really cool too.

Let’s get to the point.
Food: The sausages were ok. Ive had better.
The fries and dipping sauce were delicious! I loved the spicy ketchup and the thick cut fries.
Atmosphere: it was empty inside and the music was very random.
However, this place could have gotten three stars, but the reason I gave it two stars is because of the BAD SERVICE. When our order was taken the scrawny white guy was very unhelpful, had no energy, and was very sassy. He was nice to us towards the end, probably because we were leaving.
I will not be back.

All right Link n hops, let’s talk about this bolillo nonsense. A bolillo is not an acceptable bun for a sausage. The shape of the meat should dictate the shape of the bread that carries it to your mouth (and should also corral the toppings). The link in the bolillo curves upwards and creates two dead zones in the meal — one on each end. These «dead zones» are meat-​empty and the doughy-​ass roll sucks up ALL the ketchup and mustard. I had to dress each bite with a squirt of this or that, just to get a satisfying mouthful (that’s what she said). They’re too dense, too big, and frankly is what keeps me from ever eating there.
I decided to give it one last go over the weekend, but between being ignored for the first few minutes we were standing at the order counter (just saying «hey I’ll be with you in a minute» goes a LONG WAY), the huge bun and the dirty tables, I just can’t continue to give this place my business. Also wish the fries were thinner.

We stopped by Friday night for a quick bite before our concert at the Greek Theater… however, the bite was anything but quick. Our food took about 20 minutes so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are on a time crunch.
As many reviews note, Link N Hops is pretty much like Wurstkuche in Atwater Village. Gourmet sausages (vegan and not) and beers in a casual gastro-​pubby like atmosphere (seating inside and outside: booths and communal seating). I unfortunately thought that their «burger» was a burger… it is not. Instead it is a burger patty on a hot dog bun. I do not recommend because part of a satisfying burger is getting all elements in 1 bite — which was extremely difficult in a hot dog bun form. Their sausages fared better (one would hope): bf got the lamb one and that was pretty good. Our friend got one of their spicy sausages and proclaimed it to be extremely spicy. The jalapenos with seeds didn’t help. Their fries were pretty good too. Oh yeah, portions aren’t terribly big so if you are a big eater, you’ll probably need to supplement with another sausage or fries.
Parking: a pain. Small parking lot with compact spaces shared with other eateries. Or street/​meter parking.

Great selection of links beyond boring beef, even more combination choices. I tried a chicken apple dog with cheddar and grilled onions with a side of fries… Excellent on a sunny day in the shad of the patio.

Amazing beer selection. Wife and I have a sweet tooth, so we grabbed a Pumpkinwiezen and a long name one that begins with a C, has four words and is black, served in a small glass.
We had a veggie platter and salad, which comes with the Belgian fries, which are just fucking lovely.
I’d recommend the Hawaiian plum sauce and curry ketchup as sauces.
If you like sports, they show those on screens, but thankfully you can still hear yourself speak if you don’t give a crap.
Finally, it’s hard to find. Look for the Starbucks parking lot. It’s connected to Crispy Crust and 55 Degree Wine; both great places I also have 5 star reviews.
