The pad thai tasted so bland, and the chicken satay is over cooked and burned for some parts. The dipping sauce for chicken satay is not bad.

I would give this place an extra bump. While it is not the best Thai food I’ve had it is pretty decent. The fried rice that came with the combo meal was much better than the typical fried rice that comes with combo meals. You know the premade crap. This one had shrimp in it. I wish the bbq chicken wasn’t so sweet tho but it was fresh and tender. Big too It is close by and for now it will do. Again not the best as in thaitown. But I can walk here from home. I

If I could give them no stars I would. Me and my parents have been coming here for many years. I have personally always thought this place was average at best. Today we came in as we normally do every other Sunday and in the middle of our meal we find a piece of chewed gum in the middle of our white rice. My toddler had some of that white rice on her plate… Manager and owner simply apologized stating they were busy and that it had never happened before. then continued to charge us full price for our meal which we didn’t even really touch after we found the piece of gum… They have lost a customer that’s been coming here for years…

Red curry & yellow curry mediocre, too thin & greasy, a/c not cold enough was warm inside, Thai Chinese across street is better. I have had curry a dozen thai places this rates bottom half, have had better, prices reasonable…

Yesterday was my first time here. I was walking up third and I was going to dine in at ocha but has a 30 min wait and went to Thai BBQ and also had a big line. I was going to settle for tacos but saw this on the way back with no customers! Walked in and I was welcomed. the place is big but was so vacant. Upon entering I saw it had a «A» food grade which was a plus! Me and a friend order pad Thai and chow mein. I thought they would have brought a plate for individual order but instead they gave us two more plates. It made sense once they brought the food out. the food is a lot! Basically I didnt need to order 2 dishes. I would have settled for one. Me and my friend didn’t finish one dish. instead we had to get it to go. Yummy food. This is a gem. I definitely think anyone should check this place out!

I love this little family business! I come here several times a week; they’re fast and efficient. It’s not gourmet or anything, but perfect for a night in with a movie(I always get take-out). BIG portions of rice and yummy chicken. As one of their neighbors, I always feel like family there. =)

I got a advertisement of this place in my mailbox and had to try it since it’s close by the house. I ordered for delivery which was good since they give you a soda if you order over $ 20.00. The guy over the phone had a hard accent and took my order but had a hard time understanding my credit card number. I had to repeat it 3 times. The expiration about 4 time. UGH! I had to remind him about my free soda. Cause if it wasn’t there I’d be pissed.(that’s weird that Patrick F. and Patrick D. said that they took cash only cause he took my credit card fine. I hope they didn’t lie to both Patrick about that). I ordered the BBQ spare ribs and BBQ chicken. Both had the same BBQ sauce which was sweet and tasty. Nothing to be WOW’d about. I also ordered the crispy pork just to compare it from Palm Thai and Thai Patio. Just making sure If I liked it or not. And If I did I’d just get my Thai food from there instead of Palm Thai. But NOPE it wasn’t great. The Chinese broccoli tasted weird. The pork tasted OK. The sauce oh not really great. had a weird taste. I doubt I’ll order here again unless I try something different. And get less than Thai BBQ… BBQ chicken. damn almost same price and I get less here at Lerd Rod UGH! So I’m really confused why the place took my credit card for delivery but if you go in they only take cash? WEIRD…

Way better than the crowded Thai Chinese chain restaurant across 3rd. The Pad Kee Mow was the best thing we ordered. We got it hot, and all 3 of us loved it(they let us hold onto a pitcher of water). The thai beef salad was also great. We got it medium, i’d have gotten everything hot but I had to be fair to my group. Panang curry w/tofu came in 3rd, but was a nice dish to cool off the drunken noodle heat. Its cash only apparently but 4 entrees(we got two pad kee mow’s) cost only $ 34 and completely stuffed the 3 of us. Great restaurant, fairly priced, hot means HOT but didn’t hurt me later, I’ll definitely come back.

Good place. Was trying to go to the Thai place across from it, Ocha, but it was really full and there was a long line. We decided to try our luck here, and overall, it was a good experience. Small restaurant, the server was really nice. For about 30 dollars, five of us were pretty full. One thing to be aware of, the food is really spicy. I can beast it when it comes to hot and spicy, but even on medium, the items were tearjerkers.

This seems like a nice little restaurant. It wasn’t busy when I came in, but it was before the lunch rush. The pad thai was alright. The Thai iced tea wasn’t overpoweringly sweet, which is the way I like it. Parking can be tight as it is in a shared lot. It’s cash only, so come prepared.
