Great people and environment! I took my son to get a notarized letter to give his girlfriend permission to take their son to Mexico. Diego was very friendly, kind, and had great customer service. The Pom office dog was awesome. I carried him like a baby. And everyone in the office had an upbeat attitude. I highly recommend this place. Prices are very reasonable.

The staff at this establishment were so helpful and friendly! I went in to get help with filing my estimated quarterly taxes, having never worked as an independent contractor before. I had several questions, and the woman that helped me was very patient and had all of the answers. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and ended up paying much less than I had originally anticipated paying. I highly recommend this place!

Came across this tax service on Unilocal.I was in search for an honest tax agency. A+ for service. A+ for cleanliness A++ for being dog lovers (pomeranian relaxing inside) Diego was more than helpful and very knowledgeable. Licenced and certified just like HR BLOCK but at less than half the price. Didn’t try to up sell any services. I would refer to friends and family.

My former coworker recommended this place to me about 5 years ago and they are the best! Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. The first time I went to Jimenez, I had bought a house and my realtor had told me I missed the deadline for the $ 10K first-​time homebuyer credit that existed at that time — Susanna was able to get me my money!
Since then, several different people have handled my taxes, and all have been very pleasant and helpful. They explain everything they do, and are very patient with me — even when my tax documents are disorganized! I highly recommend Jimenez tax! I once went to H&R Block and felt like I could’ve done my taxes as well online myself, but these guys really know what they’re doing — they aren’t doing anything shady, but they’re super thorough.

Last year I went in with Four W-​2s and wasn’t sure if I was going to owe or if I was going to get money back. Then I meant Diego and he was able to walk me through it all. Wow! Star struck when I got my taxes done here. I swear the whole Jersey Shore staff was working there! A little guy by the name of Diego who passes himself off as the Situation helped out with my taxes and got me the most bang for my buck. We filed late, due to a gaff on my part, but Diego was able to square it all off and answered a lot of the questions and concerns we had.
He was also so wondrously patient — we had rescheduled so many times because of work conflicts, so we truly appreciate that he didn’t even make us feel bad about that!

My husband and I had a rude awakening with our taxes this year. Having always done my taxes online, I decided to finally shell out some money in hopes of saving even more. I called the office (two weeks before taxes are due– standard procrastinator) and was able to make an appointment for the very next day and in the evening which worked out great for our schedules. Diego was ready for us as soon as we got there and we immediately got to work.
The whole experience was quick and relatively painless. I didn’t expect him to be able to snap his fingers and make everything we owed go away, but he definitely helped in a very ethical and efficient way. His rate was $ 95 (I think it varies a bit for everyone depending on how many forms you require) but we found that to be very fair. I’m planning on visiting him again this time next year!

I needed a tax preparer stat because I’m moving, so I blindly trusted the previous Unilocal reviews on this page. I was not disappointed.
I went to Diego after reading the other comments. I was waaaay early to the appointment, and he still happily helped me. He took his time to make sure I got the refund I deserved. He charged me $ 100, which based on the other reviews may or may not be higher than normal. But I was happy with his work and that fee seems fair.
This place is really special. It’s a family-​run business that has been at the same location for decades. If you’re in need of a good tax preparer, make an appointment. You won’t regret it.
