This is a cute vintage store with cloths and accessories that range from $ 10 and up. The owner is a really sweet lady and she works with you to do additional mark downs. I got really cute Jewlery and genuine leather belts! There are a lot of cute pieces for Coachella! Total festival vibes!

Looking for a very specific pair of glasses last minute for a film. With only 2.5hrs to find I drove to 6 different places before I stopped here and found exactly what I needed. Micki was a peach, getting me in and out in time to deliver the glasses to set. I will definitely be back as she has a large assortment of vintage piecea that I didn’t get to peruse.

All the good stuff is in a cordoned off area at the back of the shop– each time I’ve asked to check out pieces from the ‘special’ area the sales assistant has shot a panicked look at me and become extremely visibly flustered, as though I’m about to rob the store. Once inside your every move is presided over by the panic stricken girl — I had to get out of there for fear she would have a complete meltdown– nice stuff, but please — don’t be so precious about it!!!

I’m probably not the clientele for this store. The clothes are very vintage-​y from a few decades ago that are not my style. However, the service was friendly/​great. It’s just so cramped in here and because everything is authentic old school/​vintage, some of the things are VERY expensive like $ 60. There was not a lot for men, so my boyfriend was bummed. Street parking only. I can see others loving this place tho.

My boyfriend came here to pick up Gatsby themed accessories and spent hundreds of dollars because the woman assured him he could return unused items for store credit. I went in there and was instantly told there was nothing they could do. Now I’m stuck with a bunch of stuff I will never use. Thanks a lot ladies.

My favorite place to buy a unique and special gift! So much cool stuff, curated by Micki, hand picked. I came in for one gift and walked out with four, and no buyers remorse here.

Honestly an amazing find in DTLA, affordable and different from most thrift stores which others claim to have a vast range of items.
I came to Lemon Frog Shop in search of a decent sized backpack nothing too big, small is what I was aiming for. As I entered the shop I was instantly greeted with a sea of vintage finds. The owner, Miki (owner) is very sweet. She greeted me upon arrival and directed me to different bags of different price ranges. I instantly found the one for me, from the brand Aurielle, genuine leather ($ 42). I fell in love with I knew I would end up purchasing it. Along with the backpack I looked at their $ 10 item section and I had found another backpack. Of course it wasn’t as sturdy and pretty worn down but I still love it. And the last item I had found was this quaint locket, extremely tiny, $ 10 as well but I haven’t seen anything like it.
After purchasing, Miki had offered me something out of her trinket box. And that was very sweet of her. I picked a little eagle on a chain. There were rings to choose from, and earrings as well as buttons. Very cute.
Overall this thrift shop isn’t like others where you’d need to continuously be on the hunt, treasures are all around you. I will be returning as soon as possible. For the service and the thrift shop.

I love vintage clothes, I’ve been mostly wearing vintage since I was a young teenager and am in my 40’s now, and kind of have a knack for the digs, finds, whats higher end vintage, whats not, etc etc so I just really don’t understand the pricing of this store at all. I used to be a buyer as well so when I went into the place I couldn’t believe the markups on everything. For a few rare items it made sense but for everything else, it was ridiculous. There were styles that I’ve been collecting for years, that were literally marked up 10, 20, 30 x’s the price. I had just bought a balinese shirt for $ 10 at another place and this store has a collection of them that started at $ 75 and went all the way to almost $ 200.
The woman who owns the store seems sweet and knowledgable about her stock, but she also follows you around and watches everything you do. When my sister, another vintage devotee, asked to try on shoes that were on a back shelf, she basically said no to her. The vibe was weird and I just couldn’t relax. I think there is a fine balance between good customer service which is seeing if the customer needs help finding anything and then giving them some space or being up in their business the entire time, and basically running them out of the store.
I came here once and just live down the street but have never felt like I wanted to go back. My sister had the same experience and I’ve heard the same from other friends. There are so many amazing vintage stores in the area, along with all the little market pop ups and the rose bowl so I’ve got plenty of places to get my vintage finds.

The store is amazing, and has all kinds of stuff. However, when I asked to see a dress hanging up on the wall, the woman who works there asked me «that dress is $ 2500, do you still wanna see it?» So I was like alright you are right I can’t afford it, why bother to see it? But you know that’s that kind of thing I have to minus two stars here, and I’ll never go back… but my friend who just went back to the store told me there was another woman working there and was very nice to her

The lady who runs the store is very sweet and attentive. It was lovely to meet her and try stuff on but unfortunately I didn’t buy anything. Nothing fit! Vintage can be a huge bummer for anyone bigger than a size 4. That’s not her fault though. I’ll be back one day to look around more, for sure.

The lady I’m guessing the owner was so friendly and explained to us the layout of the store. Cheaper items towards the front and pricier pieces as you move further back.

Very cool shop! Found this place online while trying to get to know the area. They really do have something for every price point — a good selection of fun $ 10 jewelry and the stuff on the sidewalk was also very affordable. Of course some of the more special things are pricier… but either way a great place to spend time digging. Very organized and I was so impressed with the selection! Will be back!

The owner is the sweetest & you can tell she truly loves her job! You can find almost anything here and every article of clothing or accessory I’ve ever been complimented on I’ve bought here! True, real vintage. The prices are cheap considering other vintage shops around. Plus she always throws in a free ring or necklace when I buy stuff! She’s the best! It’s easy to spend a lot if time or money in here – great stock! Be sure to check out her designer handbags towards the back, it’s one of a kind type of styles. The jewelry too!

Normally don’t write reviews, but the owner was so amazing I have to give her a s/​o. Visiting LA from Chicago (where we know vintage) I stopped in while exploring and was absolutely blown away by every aspect of the shop. GREAT selection (clothes, jewelry, shoes, bags), plenty of sale items, and everything is organized by size and price. Plus, the owner was so accommodating and helpful. Cannot stress this enough: she’s great. I walked away with some great finds, and bonus: after you buy something she lets you pick a trinket from a little treasure box as a thank-​you. Nice touch!

I stopped in here after getting a coffee at Tierra Mia next door. Its more for the ladies, but I did find something for my dear friend that I will mail tomorrow.
The shop is amazingly packed with vintage beauty. Clothes, shoes, and jewelry in every nook and cranny. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. To boot, there was a great Blur song on.
I would definitely recommend this shop for any gal looking for some unique vintage gear.

We loved coming here after having a good cup of coffee right next door. They have beautiful, unique jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets) and they also sell cute accessories (purses, clutches, wallets.) They also offer vintage clothing and gently used clothing. Cute shirts and dresses that remind you of the 70’s, but can totally be rocked out today. Boots, shoes, and even cute hats! They have almost everything! We took my friends little girl and the associate was kind enough to let her play with a toy while Mommy did some shopping.

Absolutely AMAZING vintage, filled to the brim with beautiful things to look at. I could literally spend days in here perusing all the gorgeous clothes, jewelry, and accessories. The store is helpfully organized by price-​point and size. Reminds me of all the vintage stores I shopped in Austin, TX so I’m glad I’ve found some place in LA to satisfy my lust for vintage.
I can’t believe the store has been here for 7 years and I’m only discovering it now. I had a chance to chat with the owner and she is so sweet, it’s a shame people come in and shoplift things — the store is this woman’s livelihood! Not the cheapest vintage around but they are fair. The assortment is extremely well curated with a small stand of $ 1 items outside and a fair selection of items priced at just $ 10 inside. I picked up some belts and jewelry this time but am already thinking about going back for a needlepoint clutch. I’m happy to spend money here to support this woman. Seriously, she owns the store of my dreams!

Solid vintage clothing shop. I ended up getting a cute dress and the owner was really sweet and helpful. My only qualm was that most items at Lemon Frog Shop were a little out of my price range.

Today was the first time I decided to stop by. I’ve seen this shop for some time now since I’m a usual at Costa alegre around the block. I read multiple reviews on this place and saw these unicorn earrings I just loved. Upon arriving there were a few racks filled with clothes for sale outside, a $ 1 chest filled with rings and other jewelry. I didn’t really take time to look around the sale racks which I now regret because I’ve seen so many pictures of others who have found amazing apparel. Im a D&B vintage handbag lover and saw a few that resembled the pattern but weren’t what I was looking for. I then saw this green and brown leather bag that was my style and the price was $ 35! I then saw my earrings in different colors and I was a happy camper. The sales associate was very polite greeted me upon arrival and helped me out while I was looking at my bag. While checking out I was asked If I’d like a piece from their little treasure chest for free. How cute is that?! I chose small earrings and went on my way! I’ll definitely be returning when I have more time to browse around.

I visited this vintage shop because I heard it was an amazing place to find 60s psychedelic clothing. They did indeed have a great selection and I was not disappointed!
The store is a tad cluttered, but it’s clean and well organized by price range/​size. There’s so many good clothes/​shoes/​accessories! I found several items to try on, but ended up buying only one since the other items were too big on me.
One thing I noticed is they have a GREAT selection of leather fringe and macramé purses (in case you’re looking for one).
The lady working the counter was super sweet and friendly! We got to gush a little about 60s styles and it was fun to talk to another vintage enthusiast.

If you go into Lemon Frog understanding that it’s a high end, ‘Thrift-​tique’ — you’ll probably have better expectations on what to find. There’s various things at the lower — more expected — price range, but if you’re looking for something finer in the vintage department, you’ll most likely end up paying a pretty penny. But depending on your take on fashion, it could absolutely be worth it.

Some of my favorite recent additions to my closet have been from Lemon Frog. Like, things that I want to pass down to my children and grandchildren. Because of a small tear in the leather, my favorite shoes in the entire world were generously marked down — I died of happiness that afternoon. I was gifted a little something cute from their treasure box, which made me feel so special.
Oh, and the JEWELRY SELECTION — to die for. If you’re looking for incredible vintage jewelry, hands down GO HERE.
