Sequestered away behind a quaint garden on Melrose Place is Jonathan Schilder Brown’s LeadApron bookstore/gallery. Rare, signed, out-of-print art and photography books fill the modern well-curated space. Brown, art dealer/gallerist/neuropsychologist/architect/Dexter-fan is fully inviting and has created a cozy atmosphere to peruse through the likes of Hirst, Aarons, Schnabel, Baldessari, Warhol… etc. There were also a few Basquiats present… have you been looking for a Basquiat toaster? Serene and magical… I want to live here!
