The man who answered the phone was really, really rude, so I decided to go with another cab service.

I wish I could give no stars for this service.
It took us an hour to NOT get a cab.
When I first got a dispatcher, the woman yelled at me because she could’t hear me and told me she was going to hang up on me (there was a car alarm that was going off in the background which I had no control over.) She hung up on me.
When my significant other called back, not only was the customer service rude to us, TWICE, but the guy told us Yellowcab didn’t pick up customers at restaurants! What the???
When we went to hail a cab instead, the yellow cab taxi driver said «oh i’m not going that way. sorry’ and DROVE OFF!
I will never call this cab company again. They SUCK.

do not use. we left a guitar in the cab. we called right away as we had cab number. we never got the guitar back! rip off!

The driver was Sargis Minasyan.
I called immediately after I was dropped off at the North Hollywood Orange Line Station at Lankershim and Chandler. However, the dispatch couldn’t get a hold of the driver. They asked me to call back in 15 minutes. I had a train to catch and I called again on Sunday and again the dispatch couldn’t get a hold of the driver
Left word with their Lost and Found on Monday and emailed them — no response.
Seriously– its obvious the cab driver found it and stole it. The fact that the dispatch couldn’t get a hold of the driver is total BS. Beware of Yellow Cab thieving drivers.

Showed up in an unmarked car. Leather seats and clean inside. Dude showed up in 3 minutes and was very friendly. Think his name was Arturo or Antonio.

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My taxicab driver was rude and unprofessional. I live in Little Tokyo and took cab #6050 back home after Thanksgiving. I noticed the sign indicating a flat rate of 46.50 for rides to downtown (borders specified as the 110, Cesar Chavez, Alameda, and the 10). I asked my driver to confirm that this rate applied to me as I live in Little Tokyo. I get dropped off on 2^nd, just a few feet east of Alameda. I try to pay him 46.50 and he demands I pay for the metered fare at 57.50, claiming that we were no longer in downtown. I pointed out that this was Alameda, and he pointed out that we were now east of Alameda. I couldn’t believe it. I will never use yellow cab again.

How do you give only ½ a star. Was CUT off by Yellow Cab 6042 in West Hollywood today. What an IDIOT and then he parked in the same parking lot I was going to and took up 2 spots. So not just an idiot but a selfish jerk too!

I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED ~!!!
I had 7:45 am flight from the Burbank Airport. So I booked yellow cab the day before online, and later received a confirmation email saying that everything was set, but the next morning, NO CAB SHOW UP THE NEXT DAY!!!
I CALLED THE TAXI LINE SEVERAL TIMES, BUT STILL NO CAB!!!
AND ONE OF THE LADY WITH AFRICAN-​AMERICAN ACCENT WAS VERY RUDE AND HAD A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE WHEN SHE ANSWERED THE CALL.
THEN WHEN I CALLED AGAIN AND ASKED FOR SUPERVISOR, HE WAS ALSO TERRIBLE.
THEN LATER, WHEN I CALLED THE COMMENT NUMBER TO COMPLAIN, THE LADY WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE AS SOON AS SHE HEARD THAT I WAS ASKING FOR THE COMPAIN NUMBER, HUNG UP ON ME!!!
I FINALLY CAUGHT A YELLOW CAB ON THE STREET, THE DRIVER WAS TALKING ON PHONE THE WHOLE TIME, AND I TOLD HIM 3 TIMES IT’S BURBANK AIRPORT, HE STILL DROVE TO LAX!!! WHEN I REALIZED AND HAD HIM TURN AROUND WAS ALREADY $ ¹⁰⁄₅ MIN LATE~!!!
THIS IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPENED BEFORE, AND I TRAVEL MORE THAN 40%!
I WAS NOT JUST EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED, BUT EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED~!!!
THE PEOPLE WHO THEY HIRED WERE HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, EXTREMELY RUDE, AND COMPLETELY IGNORE THE TRAVEL REGULATIONS~!

Yellow Cab saved our butts from waiting nearly an hour for the rented car service to come by and pick us up.
One cab saw us waiting and turned around to see if we needed a ride back. Half of the group (there were 13 of us) jumped into the minivan cabbie and headed back to the hotel. Thank goodness! It was almost time for us to start getting ready for our concert.
Thanks, Yellow Cab, for being way cheaper than that other car service and for finding us all the other times we needed a cab back to the hotel!

We headed to Downtown Pasadena on New Years Eve. Rang in the new year with music, drinks, dancing and good people!
That’s right, party hardy then go home. But why drive? Let someone else do that for you. And after a long night of partying and you’re pooped be sure to bust your iPhone out of that pocket of yours, sticky fingers and all be sure to click on your handy dandy app — and dial a cab.

Now, you’re home safe and sound. By golly, thank goodness for cabs.
